Simple Launcher ( Big Launcher,Easy Mode,no ads)

Excellent app. I realy love it. May you please please add the following 1. Ability to remove SOS for those who does not need it and make the page a full screen for contact shortcuts 2. Ability to add more folders for contact groups of my choice other than just friends and family. 3. The slide up animation is not amazing. May we have a choice there. 4. The left and right page animation need to be faster, or lightning speed and have choice. 5. Some Gestures eg slide down to lock screen to save our phone buttons. 6. Ability to hide some apps like icon packs etc from main pages. In fact, the launcher is so great and hope you will consider more and your response will b greatly appreciated. Thank you developer.

Simple at its best. Top apps option to keep on home. But some demerits like no option to resize app sizes both home and drawer, can't use different icon pack, can't bring all apps to home screen alphabetically or manually or arrange them in folders. Give us option to increase search bar in the drawer and also add search bar on home screen. Good but needs improvements. 👍

Recently gifted a 5.5" android (GS370) to my 70 year old mother and this launcher was one of the reasons to do so. Requires little to no explanation, easy to learn and manipulate - especially for the elderly. No superfluous apps installed or subscriptions required. Really appreciate the efforts by the developers. Tipp: If the Launcher crashes (particulary after installation of new apps), disable the option to Add New App to home screen in android system settings.

The launcher offers a simple, clutter free interface making it perfect for seniors if you only need English. There is no option to rename apps, and if you are using serbian for example, you are stuck with the names of apps in English. Hiding certain apps would also be a nice feature.

I needed a solution for my parents and tried out the app on my phone. It worked great...UNTIL I tried to turn it off. It reactivates itself with a swipe. It hides itself and is quite difficult to uninstall. While it was active, it literally was not on the list of apps! After exiting the app, It would not allow me to uninstall directly on the phone. I had to work my way through the permissions (turn all off) and uninstall from the Google Play store. WHY?!?

Got the launcher for my 89 year old Dad, who wanted a smartphone. Love nearly everything about it. Dad can (kind of) use his phone without being intimidated. My wish for improvement includes being able to create customized contact groups (like for doctors, service providers, neighbors). An idea for a related app: one that teaches how to use your phone. Something to let them practice making and receiving calls, and doing the basics on a smartphone, for the person who needs a simplified launcher.

Would be great if it fixed the main bug which is it keeps 'forgetting' the contacts short cuts - after a few days of setting it up it will tell you 'Contact has been deleted from contacts, so you want to remove the shortcut?' when the contacts haven't been changed at all. This bug unfortunately renders it useless.

Early days, but not bad at all. Simple interface for an elderly relative. There is even more basic out there, but I liked how this falls in between the huge icon apps and standard android. Clock needs fixing. Says 01.15pm when it's 13.15. If your going to use a 24 hour clock then get it right, otherwise drop the 0 and use a 12 hour clock (am/pm)

This launcher could be so good for public Internet terminals. Unfortunately, there is a page with "Family, Friends, and Control Panel" that can't be disabled for a nice clean interface. Also, the control panel would allow people to exit Simple Launcher, which makes the whole "disable editing" option pointless. I hope they could provide an option to remove those links for a nice clean experience. Otherwise, it's pretty good but I have to use something else.

I give this launcher 3 stars only because I cannot seem to find how to change my wallpaper on the home screen. Otherwise I would rate at 5 stars. The launcher isn't over complicated or overpowering. Simple, straight-forward access to phone and apps. Great work! No ads and nothing to get in the way.

good clean nice looking launcher with a few missing things. 1: holding down on an icon for awhile does not open it. 2: on the contacts screen there is no option to sms or send a message to the person. while i feel that it is good for many people to hide this option, for others it is essential.

Best 'dumbphone' launcher. 9 apps on the home screen and none to swipe to either side, definitely makes you less distracted by your phone, which can only be a good thing. Unlike other simple launchers, this one still looks nice and you have easy access to your full app drawer by swipe up.

I did a really nice setup for my grandma to do WhatsApp video calls directly from your launcher 💪 I have some comments though: 1. it should be possible to reorganize the icons without removing them. I add to use custom shortcuts and it is quite dificult to place them where you want. 2. The weather widget should be optional 3. There should be a way to remove family and friends group. 4. settings button shouldn't be primary it could be next to edit. Keep it up 🙏

Just enough! Great for seniors! But... I would love it more if it gave the option for one-touch calling. Currently, contact icons bring you to the contact page. please enable a direct dial option... this would make the app perfect!

Nothing works right will not let you change it from Celsius to Fahrenheit it does not respond when you try to add the white button you could not and it blocks your apps it doesn't let you uninstall anything and there's nothing you can do except for open your own apps and that's it you can't make adjustments change your icons it's not a very good app

I installed this app on the smart phones owned by my 85+ year old parents. It goes a long way to help them understand and enjoy using their phones. My two beefs: 1. If they exit the launcher for any reason. I have to go make it the default launcher again. Please make that feature sticky. 2. The contacts panel should be more customizable. Add groups for close family, extended family, medical, close friends. Or better yet, let users add or customize groups of their own.

Excellent app! Would like to be able to create additional groups/folders for the "left" screen. I installed it on my parents new smartphone as they were overwhelmed with the phone's default layout. Thanks!!

This is a good app. I wish you could have protected it with some password to prevent the user from either existing it or changing the settings.

Very good app for seniors. Only suggestion I have is to add ability to add more folders. This way you could have one for doctors, family, friends, etc. Let's make it better for the elderly.

The launcher is not bad but a few nagging features: the big ugly EDIT button at the top should not be there. There are not enough customization options and the wallpaper is messed up when using this launcher.

exellent ,app,easy and nice large letering,the developer of this apo did a great job,it certainly deserves 5 STARS,, have redownloaded and working again fine., but still freezing after phone shutoff or changing to an other launcher temporarily.. Reinstalled... Now working again for how long?? BUT IN MEANTIME UPGRADET MY EVALUATION TO 5 STARS..problem Fixed after redownliading and setting rectified.... Good app.... 2nd instalktion does not work, cannot be set as a home app on MOBICEL FAME ANDROID

Really great app, but i'd like to have the option to display the date in UK format (dd/mm) andto change the font size and colour. It also doesn't show notifications on each app's icon - is this something the launcher could do?

The best UI I have found for older, non-technically inclined seniors. Compete with safety lock so ringer or headset volume cannot be accidentally changed.

Not working on my Moto G6. From the home screen, every time I swipe up to open the application drawer Simple Launcher crashes. I want to use this app, but can't. The app does work on my OnePlus 6 without any problems, but crashes on my Moto G6.

I didnt have time to check it out and play around with it. Why? Thanks for this app, it was simpilier but better. It showed me settings google kept hidding from me by keeping me in their rabbit hole playing on Google hamster wheel. Tricking us older generstion who has to work 12 hours + a day to come home and, not to relax and play on the computer all day eating snacks and energy drinks, Thanks for some info simple launcher! Maybe i can learn the correct way of internet proceedurs!😂🤐🙄🤞

5 star app. I installed this for Mom. She is not very tech savvy for her old age. I used to have Big Launcher on her phone, but recently upgraded her to a new phone. Big Launcher turned to garbage. Stumbled upon this app and found it to be what I was looking for. Perfect.👍
