Simple Lite for Facebook

After using this app for many years, I stopped when the developer said they were no longer supporting it, after being threatened by FB. I recently noticed it has had some updates, so thought I'd try it again. Wow, I'd forgotton just how much better it is than the official FB apps, and other third party FB apps. For me, it's the best looking, fastest, cleanest, user friendly app there is for accessing FB. The ‘Smart Pins’ feature is brilliant idea, and the video player is the best I’ve seen in any FB app. Keep up the good work!

This app turned out to be the best alternative that I have tried. Update, don't bother with this app. You can't even log into account! Please fix.

Can't rate this high enough. Have paid for other wrapping apps that are no where near as constantly good as this. No problem with watching videos or uploading pics. Very nice app and I would even pay for it. Can't believe that a free app is better than a lot of paid ones. Excellent. Just keeps getting better 👍🏻

Pretty good! I think the recent update means the menu bar is now always at the bottom instead of the top? Been through all the app settings and can't seem to find this option? Otherwise though this is a good app if you want to use FB without all the rubbish that FB throws at you. Works well.

The best. I've downloaded a bit of the lite facebook app alternatives. And this is hands down, thus far, the best lite alternative to the bloated facebook app and the official facebook lite app. This isn't a app that just takes you to the mobile facebook website, it is actually packed with useful features like data saving options, privacy options and messenger built-in. Highly recommend! Looking forward to future updates!

The app does work and work well. Is customisable, it loads significantly faster that other apps. Still haven't checked if notifications work but it says this app may not be optimised for your device, so will understand if it doesn't.

Hi! Thanks for still maintaining the app, it's my favourite Fb wrapper. However, I have a question. Since neither the premium nor the lite version is available anymore, are there any plans to make the app open source, so that it will be available on fdroid? You could also include a donate feature. I guess it would be better than nothing.

Absolutely the lightweight app I have been looking for to use FB. Let's face it, I wouldn't be on there at all but for business and a few friends, so I wanted an app that didn't drain my battery and send all my info to Zuck so he could sell it for marketing. This app fits the bill. I was even able to delete the messenger app and just use the messenger chat built into Simple. Good job, Dev. I expect soon I'll buy the regular version if for no other reason but you deserve to get paid for this.

Is it possible for the Lite version to have the "HD Video" mode for viewing and downloading? I noticed that the original Simple has them, but i can't seem to find it here. Otherwise its still pretty good for usage. Thank you.

There is an issue with my redmi note 7 pro, when I want to add a status update or upload a picture using the + button in the app, it always fails but from my profile section those issues don’t bother. Fix this bug. The above mentioned problem is absolutely true, faced & happening. If you can't fix it say it clearly. You shuold be more polite to your customers. This kind of unprofessional behaviour will certainly get you down. If there minus review available I would rate you with -5 rating.

Please add option to open Messenger app on clicking the Message icon..... The app is just a modification of HTML elements of the browser version of Facebook.. but its Nice.... EDIT: Found it! The Simple Free (another version) of this app has that feature

I really like this application, not as Facebook with FB lite notifications do not appear on my hanphone. The application is able to give me notifications, I hope the image resolution can be further lowered Thank you 🙋‍♂️

Much better than the actual FB app, don't get clustered with 'friends' invites or 'people that you might know' as soon as you went into Facebook; even on the web...it put me off, but this Simple-light you can hide those type of invites thankfully I go into Facebook now that I'm using this one.

love to use these over facebook.. but here i think need some major update. currently in the massager is looking nice but there should have an search option. and 2nd some comments of any post are not loading correctly mainly if we click "view more comments". and a proper dark mode what support text properly.

Best lightweight Facebook client I have ever seen by far. And yes, using the device's own download manager completely fixed that bug. Thank you

Accidentally uninstalled my old version I had running on android 5.0 that I had unlocked. I still have simple pro unlock on the phone, but I'm unable to get back to that version. Is there some place I can. Download an old version and then reactivate it as the pro version?

This app is quite frankly beautiful. It's the best client for Facebook I've found thus far, and I've been through a lot of them. It's pleasing to the eye, works well, and I no longer have to use my browser.

Very good Facebook app alternative. Light weight and loaded with simple and efficient features. Please solve the WhatsApp sharing issue also.

It's a very good app and very interesting but I can't write on my status, I can only post pictures and videos. Kindly do something about that pls, God bless you.

This app is user friendly since it does not have friend invites and the boring endless people you may know list unless you activate it.

I think the excellent fb before it's over now. Don't know why? But in the last update, my account becomes double. Still, then now 2 another epilones. What is epilon means? How can it happen? Now there is 4 acc, 2 are me without pp, & 2 are epilones

This app is absolute beautiful and is one of the best for Facebook dark mode with other colors options it's helps me to do anything I want to do is very good

After last update text is not scalable anymore I tried several times to uninstall and install. So dev comment is not appropriate
