I have an lg g4 that I was trying to work out so I can receive picture messages and copied each thing it said and pasted in and yet nothing friend tried sending me a message and it's just “downloading” endlessly and I can't send them either.
I think it is very rude of you to make a comment like you did about if one is the nerdy type to just cut to the chase. Just because someone is good with computers or what not, does not mean they are the nerdy type. What would you call someone that is not so good doing those things? Stupid? It's not very professional saying things like that. It could really offend someone.
Using 4.4.2, APN settings couldn't be adjusted automatically or through the step by step instructions when that failed. While I was able to do everything manually on my own, the app all also still needs to be updated for the newer versions.
Absolute garbage. They should remove this app and spare the general public. When I try to run it the app says "Error: Incompatible device" while I am already connected to their network by manually setting the APN.
It worked for me, even though I had to "manually" do it (that is, I had to paste information into like 4 fields, I didn't even have to copy it, it put the right info into the clipboard as I went along) -> awesome. Plz dont freak out if you are "computer settings illiterate", just follow it blindly but be sure to read it, dont skim it!!!
It was only a few days ago that I was able to send MMS. Now everytime I send MMS, I get an error 202 or 205 or 206 etc. with the following message " Your MMS message to 1xxxxxxxxxx could not be delivered. Invalid Prepaid account." APN has been double checked, sim taken out, battery taken out, phone factory restoried. Nothing helps. Any help??
You look to put In for a 65.00 international calls 10 gig plan. You get a 20.00 to 30.00 1.5 plan. You look to try to deduct money when you have it. They deduct when you don't. Hey this is you in a nut shell. What's going to change? I Call customer service they didn't know what to tell me? This is your reputation and bad advertisement. Fix it!!!!
But this app was unable to automatically set my data settings. It did offer to walk me through entering them manually, but I haven't tried to yet.
I have a LG Optimus g E970 and my mms doesn't work at all I did all the steps everything else works but not my mms that's why I wanted the data to begin with.
Android is stupid asf I don't see why i need to install an app to send a pic message that's why I want to get a iPhone
Simple mobile started off really good but now ( a year later ) things aren't the same. The automatic reup system is buggy.
I was freaked out and didn't get it. When I did I can do it in a min. Just go thru 1-6. It automatically copies on and u just go where it says and hold the button and paste...
Worked on my LG G3 just fine. Will be back in about a week to give an update if it still works or not.
It worked better then I thought. It took out the t-mobile APN that I could not take out myself. Now I don't have two APNs fighting for control.
I have simple mobile and I'm telling you dont be fooled by this "company" its a scam, I bought this new plan 54$ unlimited data plan but turns out its not unlimited at all after a week of using my data and paying my bill the data starts acting up, like it was slow.This simple mobile "boost up data" dosent work either they tell you to shut down everything and start over, so i did and when I started my phone back up,NOTHING HAPPENED, it deleted everything on my phone but it didn't up my data don't be fooled!!
Do not get this sim if you have a Samsung Galaxy S3 the Internet will not work!

Got my 4g lte up and running in about 5 minutes.. messed up the first time. But the second time it was pretty easy.
I go through phones like u wouldn't believe or I have to do a hard reset and this app is UBER simple and sets everything up for simple mobile users. Thanks so much!!!!!!!

Allows to update APN settings on Nexus 4 by pasting the provided values into the required fields.
I just updated to lollipop on my HTC one M8 that was originally a Verizon phone and I tried to configure the data settings with the app and as soon as I pressed the go button on the app it keeps telling me that my phone is not compatible, and that I should get an unlocked phone. MY PHONE IS UNLOCKED!! I was using it with no problem for a few seconds so I know out works, and Verizon doesn't lock it's phones anyway.
