Best text editor for Android. The only downside is it doesn't allow editing after a text file is opened with it despite being shown up in the list of apps text files could be opened with. Would love to rate it 5 star once this basic functionality is enabled...
The edit & save icons are a bit large that cover some text, especially on phones with half sceen keyboards. All other functionality is fine. Similar competing apps might have worse issues. Thus, I'll stay with this one.
Took me a while to find an app that can open existing .txt files, read and edit them, and also has word wrap. Thanks! This should be the default Android notepad.
Just started - seems good with no ads in the begining. Browsing through directory for files is good and simple. Improvements like fonts and column select could have been very good...
The best for .txt ! And free! Only one thing, I would want a paid version to avoid the publicity, even if it not intrusive :)
If you don't care about storage on an sd card or copy and past then you can only edit and read txt files that are stored in your internal memory. Note no copy and past.

Basic, no password security, annoying timed ads are a pain. Otherwise works ok.
Simple to use, just the features I need and a nice uncluttered look.
The only complaint i have is that it doesnt let you make abd transfer files to folders through the app itself

Adds don't permit testing app to see if it does what I needed to do. Some go on and on. Also, my file is large and I need the scroll bar to allow me to quickly move the file to wherever I wanted to go. Most important, I wasn't able to edit files loaded from Dropbox. Error message said, " The app needs to be open to edit." I need to know if files loaded from Dropbox and modified, will be reflected as saved and Dropbox when I save them in the app.
