Simple Notes

Super simple yet powerful. Doesn't try to be an all in one solution like some other productivity apps, which is a pita when you just need to use it for 1 thing. Scrollable widget with easy to select and pin as needed. My only gripe with the widget, does not support dark mode. Otherwise, 👍.

Terrific app for taking and keeping notes. Very user friendly interface is great. I am definitely pleased with it, If you need a note app then don't look no further you have found it.

I like the ease of the app and the way it saves. I am very dissapointed that there are constant irritating ads on the page. I will have to find a different note app that does not have the ads.

I love this app. Write what you need eacd day and go to the store and pull up your list. Than as you pick the item up just x it off the list. Go home and know exactly what they were out of until you go someplace else. No mork looking for that piece of paper. Great.

I like this app! It makes it easy to write stories or little reminders. It's great :) However, the ads are mid and aren't great at marketing.

Super nice , if you change the way how we should sort the memos, cause putting categories in the side with options will be a mess , like putting tomatoes with books and milk at the same time , try to put it in the bottom maybe

It serves its purpose as an app for taking notes, so it's already fulfilled what it said it would. Why it isn't five stars is because it would have been nice to write things in bold letters or italics or to just underline or highlight important things, which one is not able to do. But, then again, there is always all caps.

The notepad that came with my phone allowed sorting by dates and paper color but NOT by name. Stupid! THIS one lets you sort by name OR date. The home screen is ONE wide column, with BOLDED LARGE FONT TITLES. You can also assign categories. Makes it so easy to find notes. I keep recipes, grocery lists. I give it a 10 out of 10! CON is it doesn't require you to confirm changes made before you close, so if you accidentally delete or change something, you won't know it when you close the app.

I really like this app and I use it a lot. I can write vary simple notes everyday and delete them when I don't use them. It's also a great grocery list because theirs endless space. The problem with most notes or checklist apps is you can check off a "to do thing" and then it disappears immediately, then if you need to make it again it's not there. I recommend using simple notes for all your notes. Ps. You can even write poems on there if you don't know where else to.

No ads is the first thing I noticed & truly enjoy not seeing them when I open the app. Wish I seen this before with my other phone. It is easy to use & easy to read. I am really enjoying it!

A complete necessity! Pen and paper days are of the past. Ability to keep all pertinent notes with ease. Very user friendly.

Needed a simple notes app that i can use on multiple devices and easily update from one to the other. Was very happy with my native BlackBerry Notes app, but couldn't use it on other devices without paying a subscription. This simple app does the trick and enables me to update the app from one device to another (though not automatically or as simply as I'd like). Also has an occasional tendency not to save the note you've just entered. Had to re-enter a few. A save button would be helpful here.

Every time I edit my notes the app saves them as a new separate file. I have to keep deleting each old note every time I finish editing. It's small but it's annoying, especially considering it saves your progress almost immediately after you finish typing. Meaning if you have a long draft , you could be deleting dozens of copies of the same file. That paired with the ads and the fact that it keeps asking me to rate the app every few days even though I've already rated it. Little things add up.

I've used many other notebook type apps in order to be able to try to send fast email notes. This one is the closest you can get to almost instant- as soon as I click on the icon I just press the plus sign symbol and I can instantly start writing. When I am through I press the back arrow key where it puts it in a folder and right then I can instantly send it through email. It is so fast and easy. This app is fast, fast, fast! The best one I found.

I really like this app, but I had to give it 2 stars because of the transfer/saving problems! Ive tried to download the notes multiple times to the drive, internal storage, and other applications. It always says "cant open file" or "file unsupported." Also, I cant transfer the notes to other devices even though ive had the same app installed on each. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!! I HAVE SOOO MUCH STUFF ON IT!!! May i suggest you create a login? Thanks.

Similar to Samsung Notes before they "updated" and ruined it. It has and a "revert" option as an undo button. It also has "created" and "last modified" tags in each note's details. However, It lacks editing tools like checkbox and word styles (bold, italic, underline). The ads bar below the page might be a bit annoying (but I personally don't mind it).

Nice app for simple notes. Has a sort feature ( 3 different sorts) that is very helpful in finding certain notes.

So far so good. Now that I have used it more, there are a few things that can be improved. If you edit there is no SAVE. What's up with that. You need more options to edit and save.

This is my first time using the notepad and it's exactly what I expected. I love it! I also didn't have to go through the hassle of giving e-mails or answering questions. I just download and go, this is a truly wonderful app, try it.

Nice app. Simple design. Good dark theme. I would give this app 5 stars and pay to remove the ads if they would add a checklist feature.

Works Great! 👍 Perfect way to keep notes, works without internet, good for camp to make; check lists, to do jobs, tools & supplies needed on next trip. Can make seperate categories, works on my older phone. I like how notes can be sent as a text msg as well. Could add new feature, that in notes view all mode, could auto show category names for each note, on/off in customize. The done icon does not show when phone is upright only sideways, but the auto save, saves it regardless.

Love this app! I use it alot for all sorts of things. One thing i would add is for a chart fearure, or the option to make different types of notes like bulletpoints and checklists. Other than that, it works fine and never lags. You can make as many notes as you want and dont have to worry for a limit.

Great little app, easy to use, if you dont have a pen and paper handy use this app. It automaticly saves so you dont lose data. Love it.

So far I'm enjoying using the app. Love that I can set up categories like files. Since there are ads, at least they're unobtrusive.
