Simple Pro for Facebook & more

Definately one of the best Facebook app alternatives out there with all the features you need/want. It also has Twitter, Instagram, Reddit and a lot more integrated in the same app. So, I don't have to use 3 - 4 different apps for social media when I can have all in the same place. Definately worth the money. Only one recommendation, please allow us to hide Facebook stories bar at the top if it is possible. I hate it a lot.

How come you guys removed the side menu with all the shortcuts? It was a handy feature to have. Sad to see it go. Edit: okay found it. But this seems more cumbersome.. Before it was just a swipe. Now it's tapping several times and the layout makes less of them fit on the screen. 2nd edit: ooh okay. Then it's all good :). Thanks for the help!

Amazing update. I never thought that it would be possible for a FB Web Warper to have such fluidity and overall smoothness, but it has now been made possible with Simple Pro. I've noticed it for the last few updates. It's clear a lot of development and testing is being put into the app. Keep the app going strong. I (and most certainly many others) are definitely very greatfull for all the effort you continually put into the application. Many thanks as always.

Nice customisation options. Especially, the dark mode. But cant find the feature to mute sound in feed's videos by default. Or you haven't one? After day of use kiloed it. Too much glitches: not updating news feed, one post reapeted several times... Well, i opened Facebook at the same time and the feed was absolutely different and no repeated posts tho.

Only one problem, when opening the app, there's this white background that's just blinding . I have dark mode set so when this white background appears trying to open the app or switch from FB to twitter, it's very annoying. Update: I've double checked and all dark theme settings are applied. The issue appears when selecting twitter , the second before it opens, there's a white background and once twitter opens , it's back to dark mode/theme . It's that loading transition to a different app.

One thing that is really annoying is when the app all of a sudden refreshes the newsfeed while you're reading something, kicking you out of that post or article. It should have an option to disable automatic refresh. A year later still no change in the behavior. Have to drop rating to 2. The developer's reply is pathetic. Neither Facebook app nor Facebook Web page reload themselves at will unless refreshed manually

I like the customization of this app but one thing that could be improved is a way to select what I want notifications of. My other social media apps give limited notifications. The Facebook gives me all notifications. I would like to be notified of comments or tags only, not when someone likes a post. My phone notifications go crazy if I have notifications on with this app. Also there is no clipboard options to paste multiple things I've copied.

Customize your instagram, Facebook, and Reddit apps colours to any you like. The app also still shows up when sharing news sources. messager is also integrated in the app (as it was originally with Facebook). The messager needs a simple scroll up sometimes to update everyones conversations but thats about it. Doesn't bother me.

I'd rather not use Facebook (and definitely not Messenger), but given I do, this is a much better option than the native apps. All of the essential functionality (as provided by the mobile website) is there, with some features that makes the experience that much better. Worth spending the money to support continued development.

It is good, stable and you don't loose easily where you were while scrolling the news feed although sometimes if you scroll quickly it refreshes, then you loose it. What is annoying though is that notifications are not get updated real time, so you always have false alarms. For example even if you opened a notification, after going back it remains lit. Same with messages.

i like the app, but 360 pictures are shaking. i am a member of insta360 group and when im scrolling my page and the content of 360 comes up, the preview is sort of shaking no stop, i can pan the picture left right, but the shaking image is constant no stop. i don't think my sony phone is at fault as Facebook app and other apps i tried don't have any issues like this.

I have tried most of the popular FB wrapper apps like Friendly, Metal and Swipe. This one has come out on top with thoughtful design choices in response to what is important to users. Plus the dev (or devs?) is very responsive which is also a great thing. It has everything I need plus bonuses like color theming. And whenever FB breaks something without telling anyone (which seems to be pretty frequently) they address it pretty quickly. This is as good as it will get if you ask me.

Can't enable push notifications. I click on "On" and it does absolutely nothing. I will rate 5 stars if this is fixed.... Edit: So you want to be smart while I literally have a screen that says EXACTLY "Push Notifications" INSIDE the Simple app.. Have at it I think the 2 stars are about right.

Update: even though it is updated, getting asked to update everytime you open the app is getting irritating. Even if you swith it off it still asks you. I guess the only solution after each update is to uninstall and reinstalling. Annoying. Also having removed the side menu was the biggest mistake. Besides having to repin everything, Now you have to take 3 or 4 steps to access the so called smart pins. Not so smart after all.

App is great when working but have to reinstall every so often as it shows a message that it's unauthorized and to get from trusted source.... It's from.the play store so not sure what's with that. Cannot get to app settings within to do 'proper' bug report.

Clean and quick app, better than using the Facebook app or website on mobile. Issues with the notifications though. Messenger notifications can show up really late (like 12 hours later even though I have it set to instant notifications in the settings) and the app will send me a notification when I send someone a messenger. I am not sure if this is a good replacement for the Messenger app yet

Edit: issue that previously caused me to rate 1 star has been fixed. This is a good app that is less intrusive than regular FB's garbage. I personally am not a fan of the redesign that combined both simple and simple pro, but it still works well.

Paid version - found a bug, can't open pictures to full size in Facebook, reported it , got following reply from developer " will not be fixed ". With this kind of support, save your money and try the other free apps that do same as this one. No real reason to pay for that losy level of support.

Wow I didn't think it would be so easy to purchase the pro version. At first I was a bit bummed about having to download two apps, but was quickly impressed by how smooth and effortless the process was, plus, no second app in my App Drawer. A++!

This app is great.... Best way to implement ideas... Functionality is great.... And it's versatility is massive... But the only issue I face is... That whenever I open a tab and then close it.. Without remaining on that area of the page I was taken to the top of newsfeed... Which is a bit upsetting... Please look into my request..... And make more of such apps😊😊😊

Thanks. Happy New Year to you as well. Sorry I had already checked the font options you have provided. Unfortunately not a huge fan of them. Th UI font is beautiful. Just that I think the content can use something like Inter or Graphik for readability

A lot of bugs. For example - long tap on icon choose messages and the app will not ask for password, though you have chosen to password protect. A few days ago in messenger when you were composing message and you've got another message in the chat your not sent message just dissapears in the composing input

Used to love this app, but then an update removed an option I liked and the update log tried to play it off like it was for the good of the users and when I asked why the dev deleted my comment and banned me from the page. I "rudely suggested" that there was another explanation, like a change in the Facebook API. And sure, I wasn't forced to update, I was just bugged to do so by a popup each time I opened the app.

Outstanding app! Far superior and feature-rich than the buggy Friendly Pro competitor and bloated, battery draining Facebook native app. Simple Pro is a real winner! Lots of customization options, fast, intuitive and best of all - SIMPLE TO USE! Great job, developer team! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Scrolling is faster and smoother. I tried looking at some of photos and I'm getting a loading icon and then my profile photos on facebook aren't showing. Some do at first. Everything else seems good for now.
