fixed my problem, i was able to re install my custom recovery to be able to boot into recovery mode by using this app, truly an essential tool for all flashaholics out there.
Not working on my Wileyfox Swift (Snapdragon 410). Recovery stays the same even if I flash a new one. Please fix!
Good job! , best app to install ota updates when you have a rooted devices !
works perfect here using S6 Edge thanks Pat
Does work but the bootloader still says the device is modified...can i ota update
Does exactly what I need. Perfect for those OTA updates.
Booting into recovery mode after using this just gives an error with the resting android and a bug red triangle
Better off using another app
can you pls.update the app
Doesnt support the note 4, sad. Was hoping to use it as a lazy way to get an ota update since kies doesnt work and odin practically bricked my note 4 haha mid way through. But nice concept, seems to work for others. thanks for your hard work.
I could not flash my stock recovery from the floating button. The only way to get the recovery to stick was to actually name them Stock and Custom and use those buttons. Other then that, it worked perfect and now I can back up my entire system with a custom recovery and still get FOTA updates.
Doesn't supported the Micromax A76. When this app open it sad your device is not support..
Couldn't Be Simpler now get rom's too flash like this and were in business
Best tool to switch between stock and twrp. This helped me to flash the stock recovery and then allowed the phone to install those monthly software updates.
My device is unsupported.!! My device is Micromax canvas nitro a310 with miui v5 rom.
thats not fair . my device is symphony roar a50 and I request for it to be supported . :(
good one...make easier to install recovery with this app
Just please fix the bug where an ad is displayed after leaving the app.
it doesnt work with x86 kitkat phones
Why didn't anyone think of this? Great app. Works well. Using it on my Nexus 5 running 6.0 Marshmallow. Definitely recommended.
It says your device isn't supported and then go back to homescreen. What to do?
I think it may be use full
My device is not supported how sad.. s duos 2 (7582)
That was easy! Thanks!
Does what it says
I could not believe this worked so easily . I'm using an HTC one m8 with twrp recovery. I downloaded 4.4.3 ota , opened this app and switched to stock recovery and installed the update no issue's. However I'm now trying to switch back to Twrp recovery ( named custom .img stored in the internal storage ) but nothing happens ?? I'm now stuck with stock recovery until I adb which I didn't want to do in the first place , any ideas Dev? Cheers
This definitely works well. I just think that it would be nice if there was a link or suggestions either in the app or in the Play Store description of where to find the files that need to be downloaded to the sdcard folder. Or maybe a quick video tutorial.
When I first saw the screenshots, the app looks so simple I actually laughed. Perfect.
I have a Samsung SM-N910F (Snapdragon 805) rooted with SuperSU and Busybox. After flashing of the stock recovery file (stock.img) it seems all went ok, but upon rebooting it comes the previous recovery (TWRP). Manually selecting the stock file does not help. UPDATE: Upon suspecting my phone is not supported by this app I tried to do the same operation using another app named Flashify and it worked. Increasing rate to 4 stars anyway because this app is useful and works for other people.
