Simple Recovery Switcher

Must have ROOT and Busybox installed.
This app will allow you to switch recoveries simply. There are two ways to flash using the app. The one tab method will switch between a custom and stock recovery on your sd card and the other way is to flash any recovery stored on your device. Please see instructions below. Instructions:To use the one tap method:1. place a custom recovery on your internal SD card and name it "custom.img"2. place a stock recovery on your internal SD card and name it "stock.img" (without quotes, case matters)3. Once they are on your internal card you can just tap "Custom" to flash to custom recovery or "Stock" to flash back to stock recovery.

To flash any recovery on your device:1. Press the floating action button on the bottom right side of the screen.2. Select a .img file from either internal or external SD card3. Confirm yes or no if you want to flash

*Support for more devices added besides just devices using Snapdragon SOC's-Should support most Terga devices-Should support most Snapdragon devices-Should support most Exynos devices

I have a Samsung SM-N910F (Snapdragon 805) rooted with SuperSU and Busybox. After flashing of the stock recovery file (stock.img) it seems all went ok, but upon rebooting it comes the previous recovery (TWRP). Manually selecting the stock file does not help. UPDATE: Upon suspecting my phone is not supported by this app I tried to do the same operation using another app named Flashify and it worked. Increasing rate to 4 stars anyway because this app is useful and works for other people.

Doesnt support the note 4, sad. Was hoping to use it as a lazy way to get an ota update since kies doesnt work and odin practically bricked my note 4 haha mid way through. But nice concept, seems to work for others. thanks for your hard work.

I could not flash my stock recovery from the floating button. The only way to get the recovery to stick was to actually name them Stock and Custom and use those buttons. Other then that, it worked perfect and now I can back up my entire system with a custom recovery and still get FOTA updates.

Best tool to switch between stock and twrp. This helped me to flash the stock recovery and then allowed the phone to install those monthly software updates.

I could not believe this worked so easily . I'm using an HTC one m8 with twrp recovery. I downloaded 4.4.3 ota , opened this app and switched to stock recovery and installed the update no issue's. However I'm now trying to switch back to Twrp recovery ( named custom .img stored in the internal storage ) but nothing happens ?? I'm now stuck with stock recovery until I adb which I didn't want to do in the first place , any ideas Dev? Cheers

This definitely works well. I just think that it would be nice if there was a link or suggestions either in the app or in the Play Store description of where to find the files that need to be downloaded to the sdcard folder. Or maybe a quick video tutorial.

When I first saw the screenshots, the app looks so simple I actually laughed. Perfect.
