Simple Scan Pro - PDF scanner

Nice easy app to use that does what it says it should. It has been very useful both personally and professionally. Just one thing to say about the current version, the way in which you're able to adjust the scan area after you take a photograph is better than previously as it is more accurate but the older and slightly less accurate way was a lot quicker. I think mostly that quicker is better than more accurate. Could we have the option to use either? Maybe we already do and I didn't notice.

The app worked great for a while and then became faulty after use of more than a month. The issues: the app would switch off at random points. The screen would go black. Now it is not uploading the JPEGs I am taking to my Onedrive. It just says Simple Scanner Pro is running. I would suggest using an app that is a bit more reliable as taking photos is essential for my work as an archivist and I spend just as much time trying to get the app to work as I do researching and documenting!

I have used CamScanner for years. I have always been content with it and actually loved it. I had even paid for the Pro version. I got an S10e and managed to get the app installed through searching links. Now, it won't sync. I looked for other options, reading reviews and landed on SS. I decided to buy the Pro version since I want all access. So far, I absolutely love it! I hope the devs realize what a great thing they have created and hope to see "tags" in an update. 🙋🏻‍♀ THANKS GUYS!!!! 💙💙

This is the best Android phone scanner I have ever used. It saves my files to SD card as original scans and pdf format. I also have the option to not save the original. Easy to find scans and easy to backup and restore, unlike another top rated app I used for a long time. Performs crystal clear results every time. Developers are constantly working to make this app even better. Just had another update now. Great work fellas. Well worth the asking price.

Very useful. Have been using the free version a while and since it was doing exactly what I needed, decided to buy the app to support and reward them. (also to get rid of the ads) If I could just ask one thing for a next update, it would be great to be able to save one folder into another folder.

Great app, no problems with it. The scans are really professional - even though I'm not the best at taking pictures. The only thing I would suggest is instead of having to click every picture to delete them an option to drag from one to another would save a lot of time. That's just a small suggestion though.

Ok, so I needed to store my documents on an SD card, therefore I had to purchase the premium version. $7.99AUD, not a lot but when you expect the premium version to be better than the normal free one and it's worse, per sé, useless, I get a wee bit ticked off. The dozen or so documents I had scanned on the free version have disappeared without a trace. I'm hoping for a refund but the money has probably disappeared too. DON'T BUY IT.

Super easy to use. Snap and draw lines to your document then send in a variety of ways...done!!

They charged me $4.99 & I didn't find out it was 2.99 until I saw it on Google play. Then i couldn't download without buying again. Then it won't download more than 1meg, less than a one document with zero images. But hey, as I sit here unable to upload any documents from the app into One Drive, not a single Ad popped up. Oh, some files it automatically saved without offering the option to name, others it didn't. Who knew! Very unsatisfied.

This app is very useful. I purchased the pro version after seeing how much I used the free version. I required some of the other great features and have not been disappointed. Being able to send documents when requested is great and has reduced the stress I used to experience when required to get docs to someone fast. Great, great, great!!!

Simple Scanner Pro was worth every penny I paid for the app! It has saved me so many times when I can't get to a desktop scanner. Can't say enough good things about this app!

Review after 2 years of use. Absolutely a brilliant app with regular updates that makes it more clever. Been using it for all my documents. Keep up the good work.

I love that I can upload to my drive, email and fax whatever documents I need without a scanner or a fax machine. Best app $ can buy. You need to buy credits if you need to fax anything but it's not anymore expensive then Kinkos or UPS.

I selected saving of original images previously. How can I remove the original images from previous scans to reduce storage space? Thank you.

Not sure if the ORC function is working. Downloaded the ORC package and it is not executing any action that suggests the function is working. Folder functionality to organise receipts on the phone app works great. The upload to OneDrive unfortunately does not retain the folder structure created on the phone and uploads all receipts to a single folder in OneDrive. This makes the folder functionality on the phone pointless. Reasonably satisfied with the app after upgrading to the Proversion. However, it will be great if it has autocomplete functionality when naming receipts as I use the same service suppliers often AND if the receipts stored in the respective folders could be uploaded to OneDrive, the latter a significant constraint for me.

Simple Scan is great! It's easy and has all the features I want in any scanner. available flash, auto crop, many save options. I like that it saves the original jpg as well as the cropped jpg, and if you view your scan, it saves a pdf. Well worth the cost. I recommend it highly!

I'm really disappointed. I was searching for a PDF scanner with OCR function. What I wanted was being able to make a PDF wich is readable by my accounting software (scans of bills and so on). What I got is being able to make a PDF, and being able to extract the text from it via OCR into an extra TXT file. But at no point the OCR is included in the PDF. It's not searchable/readable at all. Or am I missing something? Useless for what I need. Though easy to use and a nice tool if you don't depend on OCR right inside the PDF.

I just don't know what is the point of paying for a service that it doesn't work properly. When I scan multiple pages I meant at least 80 pages and then press auto crop, and after a few minutes the results of the auto crop are not good at all, I still have to sit and crop all 80 pages. No bueno is a waste, dissappeaointed. ☹

I like it, it works very well. I am a O.T.R driver and I use this app to scan my bill of lading's and send them in to the company via email as pdf files. You can do this through the app and then you have a copy for yourself. I upgraded to the pro about a week after trying the regular version. I give it 4 stars because there is always room for improvement. Great app for on the go business.

Love this app. You scan and edit pdfs, jpegs, resize them, re arrange them. Merge multiple pdfs.. great must have tool. Top it off cloud backups. The only issue I have is it backs up to my home version of onedrive, not the business account. Please do what's needed to get the onedrive business account link, Great work team keep it up... Get the pro version worth every penny..

Crashes regularly when cropping images on large sets with 70+ pictures. Sometimes images go black when adjusting brightness, the 15th thumbnail beyond is never displayed on the first view leading you to believe that you lost pictures at first. I didnt lose any data luckily. No default preset for brightness.

I like their free one. Easy to use. To share file, there are choices of PDF or JPEG with 3 different file sizes. Compare to other scanner, I personally find this one suits my needs well. After using the free one for some time, I decided to support this app and upgrade to pro version. Hope this app keep the good design and come more in the future.

Alot of times when you email yourself a document it just won't send either for a long time or until you resend multiple times. When you take too many pictures it also starts refusing to email the documents to yourself. Not very good sometimes if you are trying to scan your work for a timed test.

Had a negative experience for an unknown reason (camera would not activate) but I uninstalled then subsequently reinstalled the Pro version of the app made everything work again. The reinstallation did not erase my past scanned items from my device. I backed up all important files on this device (pixel 2) anyways. A shout-out to Tech support guy YALE ZHANG you were of good help.

I don't know why but when I upgraded to the "pro" version, I was charged $4.99 twice.....not happy about that. I just want to add that, the developer contacted me quickly and rectified the problem. However, I strongly recommend that you fix the problem on your free version. Your customers should not be billed twice in the first place.

Intuitive, complete, easy, fast, reliable. I wanted an app that streamlines the process while giving me control as desired. All the other apps I tried seemed to be missing something. This one has it all.
