Simple Soroban

So easy to use... I super love it! I never use abacus until last night, I downloaded this app. I learned it from its tutorial💯 and its fun! It's perfect app for a beginner like me. Also, I like the fact that I could change the color or the design of the abacus when it feels a bit tiring. It helps me stay a longer to the app and refreshes my mind a bit. Thank You! ❤

Pretty good practice. But could you perhaps remove the checkpoints or atleast the option to remove checkpoints for restart. It causes me to build bad habits, and I want those bad habits fixed. Also add an option that we have to manually input the answer as I also want to practice reading the abacus in a shorter amount of time.

Really fun way to learn. Learning how to add more than simple numbers was a little confusing but was able to figure it out. If I could change something about the app would be to have the option to turn off numbers in relax mode

I love it. Use it almost every day before bed... I'm weird, I know... I do have one request though... Is it possible to add an option, under settings, to add a comma or dot to the numbers on the equations? My brain has a hard time recognizing 5+ digit numbers without those.

I do not write often reviews, but for this one I had to. This app is AMAZING!! I'm qurrently quarantining... I have downloaded this app three days ago. Today I looked at my app timer... and I have used this app for approx. 14,5h during these past few days. I'm so hooked! It is actually a lot of fun. Big thank you to the developer, you are amazing. Thank you for creating such a simple, minimalistic app with so many features, without ads. It is absolute perfect for learning how to use the soroban.

I like it a lot . Good bead an overall sizing an colours , so it's easy to operate an practice proper technique . Great tutorials . A few more problems to solve might be even better ? . It's got me doing + - × 7594×45 etc . very satisfying . ÷ looks a bit more challenging . Has a challenge mode with online ranking/timing etc . fun , fun , get your kids one ! . Thank you .

App is pretty simple and intuitive. I like the tutorials a lot, maybe it would be better if u could give more examples tho.

It's really easy to use plus it's simple yet amazing because it applies 'less is more' for the design and appearacnce. And also it has complete tutorials which are completely understanadable for beginners and advanced. But when it comes to clearing the heavenly beads of the soroban/abacus, you really need to slide all of them upwards and it makes the user have a hard time to clear up the heavenly beads. What we want there is we can apply the fast teachnique of clearing the soroban/abacus.

Very nice app. I almost understand all the materials. Only one thing. Im still confused on how to count the division with first digit is 1 like example : 1230 : 2

I teach my 6 years old son how to calculate soroban with in one day. I am impressed by the many option of the app and also its simplicity. my kid love the app and we now practice together. thanks you !

The tutorial is great. No ads. Simple. Powerful. I would like if I can hide the result I want to be able to read it by myself . Thanks .

The app is amazing, maybe adding some hints when solving the challenges for when you're stuck so you can follow best practices

Great app for practicing and improving once the basics are learnt. I use this every day to practice. I also love free mode which is like having an abacus in my pocket for regular use. The interface is clean and clear and the beads are a good size for using on a small screen. You can try to beat your times and see how you compare with others. I very rarely write reviews but the Devs did a nice job on this; it's light too.

At first I ignored that app and used others, but when I started to notice shortcomings of other apps I downloaded few more, and now this is my favorite soroban on android. My favorite is challenge mode. Only thing I don't like, is that I can't put 6 on my OnePlus6 phone with one move with index and thumb because 5 and 1 beads are too close on screen and my fingers can't pinch on so little area.

It has a tutorial for addition subtraction and multiplication. I did not get up to Division. After taking the tutorials you can do easy, medium, or difficult on each thing .

No doubt it's a great app. Moreover it's ad-free. It has some built in challanges which are categorised into three with stopwatch so that user can see their solving speed. I wish it had a tutorial section of solving large numbers.

it's so satisfying! thus abacus moves very smooth. if you're the type of person who likes Sudoku or/and Hundread-square calculation like me, you definitely will love it. To App developpers, if you could make "flash" mode (number to calculate appers and disappears in a second), it would be amazing!

Well designed, interactive learning with animations, nice categorization of problems from easy to hard, useful app for brain training, tiny app, you can design various levels of quizzes of your choice, step by step solution verification on hard problems & etc. deserves 5 stars

This is great! I love it. I had no idea how to use an abacus before and this app taught me the basics in a few a minutes. It really helps visualize the math and it feels like a puzzle game. I recommend it

great dynamic app, the beads move well and you can use thumb and forefinger simultaneously. the timed 'challenge' mode is simple but addictive. tutorials are also helpful for beginners.

Brilliant software. It would be good to have an option with the challenge to repeat an exercise. It would be good to show if the answer is correct in the free mode. As It it is alright.

Elegantly simple and relaxing with a smooth graphical interface. This is my first experience with soroban math. All of my frustration is contained within my inability and not with the app, which is very nicely made.

Love this app! I was always curious about the workings of this type of abacus, and fascinated by the rate at which its masters can operate the beads. Now I have a fun way to catch a glimps into this mathematical tradition.

Can you please add hints in the challenge? There so many points not mentioned in the tutorial that i can't get

Addictive. Program is very simple and makes learning soroban easy. The challenge practice calculations have 3 levels of difficulty and really give your brain a workout.
