Simple Spreadsheet
Going forward, new features will be added to this version of the application only (eg, sort).
A simple spreadsheet application that boasts:
- complex formulas (as many brackets are you need)
- text style/size/colour, background colours, and borders applicable at the cell/row/column/sheet level
- insert/delete rows and columns
- adjustable column width/row height, including autowidth
- formula highlighting when editing to show referenced cells and ranges
- import and export CSV files
- freeze first row and/or column
- copy/paste cells and ranges
- built in keypad for quick data entry (press the K button for the full keyboard)
- complete backups of all files (nothing is truly overwritten)
- SORT! can sort by columns or rows. (paid version only)plus much much more.
There is extensive documentation in the 'About' screen in the application.
Please note that this spreadsheet is _NOT_ directly Excel compatible. However, you can import CSV files from Excel, or save CSV files to load into Excel. Or OpenOffice. Or GoogleDocs. Or whatever other SpreadSheet application you normally use.

Note: for the first run the app needs to be able to contact the Google servers for licence verification, so please ensure you are connected to a network. The information is then cached and a network connection will no longer be required to run the app.

Best features: (1) Files saved on your own device and not some cloud. (2) Actually is a spreadsheet with formulas and some formatting. Worst things: (1) No graphs, not even a line graph. (2) Dragging over data to select it doesn't do any of the things you'd hoped for after using Excel. Summary: good for small budgets and to-do lists with numbers, but disappointing that there's no visually pleasing graphs to look at.
This app is on YOUR device and info isn't vunerable in someone elses cloud platform. It has now replaced Google Sheets for me. Why? On my phone every spreadsheet that I tried would periodically need to be fiddled with to flit the screen. With SimpSpr. things stay rock solid where you set them. (It's very basic in the settings) Also easy to backup to a thumbdrive or cloud using the files app. Support has been great (I had a question about the "TRUNC" function and they answered immediatly).
Total waste of money. Very difficult to figure out how to use. Managed to set up a 10 row list but when i try to sort it keeps crashing. Will uninstall and try something else
YEAH I didn't buy a puzzle... so how about some instructions SOMEWHERE EASILY FOUND! As apparently designers have different ideas about how to use a spreadsheet.
works as intended,but too slow doing paste operation into a cell-range,also better if the number of available rows increased to a few thousand instead of existing 500 which obviously is too few for most data-types encountered
This app does NOT do what I want. Eg, (1) when I tap on an xlsx file browser, this app does not appear in the list of apps; (2) there is no way to open an xlsx file from within the app.

A little too simple for my needs. I can do better spreadsheets by hand. And I knocked it down to one star because the designers are rude.
Bad scrolling in compare with Google Sheets
Changed the csv settings on new update & it works fine

Have tried a number of different apps for spreadsheet use. Found this to work the best for my purposes. Doesn't claim to replace excel but for use on a tablet or phone it has more than enough capability. For me the only must have for future would be a copy and paste. Even text only would be more than adequate.. In short well thought out, in my experience bug free app.
I happily used this app for years! Until a recent update when suddenly my files "couldn't be found" by the app. This was fixed in one update, but happened again with the next update. The developer responded, but wasn't too helpful. I've moved on to a more reliable app. It still gets 2 stars because it's great other than the file issues, and there are auto-backups allowing for data recovery.
Have used this for several years. It is intuitive and works very well. On the few occasions when I've not understood how to do something, I emailed the developer and got immediate responses, quickly solving my concerns. Very responsive and thorough!
Have used the free version for some months without a single problem so just purchased it. A real bargain.

Does what it says. Intuitive enough to only require 10 min to teach yourself the whole schema. Appreciated it so much I bought to support. Thanks a lot to this apps developers!

Tried the free version, it works for me so bought it. Very happy, formulas are good enough, I can enter date, data and calculate data per date range etc. For $2 Australia that's great. And now I don't need a net connection to use it
I love this app. I was looking for something simple that I could figure out without having to take classes. It's simple and it works. Holding one star for copy/paste for cells. This is worth every penny of $1.65 Thank you
I use this app nearly every day. It does everything I need for a mobile phone spreadsheet app. I upgraded to paid because it's worth every cent!
UPDATE: I've been using it for about a week now and all is wonderful except the csv export is very weak. The commas do not separate, so when I put it in excel I had to input all the information to proper cells. ************ So far so good. I just installed and it was easy to set up and use, without a lot of bloat. If I were allowed a feature wish it would be the ability to scale the size of the cell or choose wrap text so I can see cell contents on the fly, but this is not a deal breaker for me. Good effort and meets my simple needs.
