This is exactly the app I was looking for. Just need to log in my workout. I tell the app what I want to do, not the other way around. it's simple to use that's for sure and it's the ideal tool if you can't remember which set you're on, perfect to quickly view your workout history, AND you can also go on your computer and check out more stuff online.
Excellent workout log! The only improvement suggestions would be to use a different colour (or user selectable) for the workout name, now it's always white text on orange background, which makes it a bit hard to read
The UI is quite cumbersome but not impossible to figure out, I have to rate 5 stars because it has the premium features other workout apps I've tried want you to pay a monthly subscription for - *Data analysis with multiple graphs (total weight, avg weight, 1rm, max reps, etc.) - *plate calculator with avaliable weights (Strong app, strength log, stronglift and others want 10$ a month for this) -auto rest timer -Edit lift history which you need bc is easy to add duplicate sets/ routines
Seems good. One bug, every once in a while the top bar (exercise name and superset arrows) disappears and I can't get it back without exiting the routine. Also, would be nice if exercises with longer names would wrap to the next line. It can be hard to see exactly what I scheduled with only the first third of the exercise name. Edit: would be nice if there was a way to make copies of routines. I use the same warmup and cool down all the time, and would also be great for variations on routines.
Great. I've been using it for q few years, and I'd only change two things: recently I started using metric weights and changed the app from imperial, but now all my prior workouts say 60 kg when it should have been 60 lbs or 27 kg. I wish the old weights weren't affected, because now my progress chart looks like massive losses instead of gains. Additionally, it would be nice to rearrange the tabs at the top.
There are 2 things that I can see that need improving / fixing. 1. When looking at the graph for individual exercises, 'average reps' doesn't show any data on the graph. 2. If I were to do 5 sets of bridges that have varying times (seconds) spent on each bridge, there's no way to input that data. So, much like the strength category, where you put in number of reps for each set, static exercises like bridges and wall sits need a seconds per set. Other than that, the app is awesome. 👍
The app works great, and of the many workout apps out there, this has come closest to what I need. I would really like to be able to schedule workouts on the calendar. I have small routines saved, and it would be great to be able to add multiple routines to a calendar day to create a unique workout, instead of having to create a new routine from scratch for what I want to do on a given day.
Exactly what I was looking for! You can input your own exercises, create routines, adjust set/rep schemes. Perfect for a seasoned lifter who knows what they are doing, but also very user friendly for newer lifters. Timers for rest periods are included and they're adjustable, also. A calendar of past workouts makes it easy to look back and check for improvements or to make adjustments. It's the ONLY workout app I use now, and I've tried several.
The advantage of this app is simplicity and lightness. It is easy to figure out, set up and navigate. It also allows for flexibility during the workout. I would like to see one addition though: we create routines and "think" in terms of them, but in all history tools (calendar, history) routines names are not displayed. Perhaps a list of dates and used routine names under calendar? Pleasant application! I was looking for something like this!
I love this app. I've been using it just over a month and everything about it is great. I love the flexibility it offers for entering and changing info. Rest timers being saved on each exercise is great. The summary of your last workout. Easy access to your history. The ability to create routines. All fantastic. The only improvement that I can think of is when editing a past set, being able to change the order of the sets would be really helpful.
Easy to use, sturdy, non-intrusive ads. Hope you can implement the function to auto convert between kilograms and pounds. I entered my weight in kg, but for workouts I use pounds so when I switch measurement systems it only changes the label instead of converting. Also the keyboard only allows entry of numerals.. the + - keys etc dont work for me.
I don't mind to pay for an upgrade version if I can setup super set, drop down set, Tri set and giant set in the app. Respond to the reply I found the instruction on how to setup superset in FAQ but I never able to do it in both the app or the web version. I can't find any "link" icon on the right side of the exercises i have in my existing routine. If you can do a video tutorial on it that would be great.
Would give 5 stars but there's one small thing that annoys me... And that's when you go to add a new exercise, and it already exists, it says so and doesn't just add it and open the log. It's an annoyance. Will give 5 stars once resolved.
Trust me I've tried many many fitness apps. Almost all of them are clunky, unnecessarily complicated, presumptive of what you want to do and how, tries to tell you what you should do, and worst of all, wants your money for the simplest of features. This one is the best one yet, quite simply because of the customizability of a basic notebook, not only that but it's very basic and to the point, but also gives you all the space and options that you need.
This has potential to be an excellent app. It is simple but the UI isnt as intuitive as a minimalist app should have. I regularly think I've logged my workout only to find later it didn't save. IMO this is a UI bug: after I enter data and hit the + button, this should be saved. if i later want to go back and remove a set I can do that. By default my entries should autosave. Keep in mind i just worked my body as hard as I can and dont have the presence of mind to hit the check button to save.
Excellent, easy to use app. I agree with all of the other 5 star posts so no need to rehash. I use the Excel export extensively but I'm a spreadsheet kind of guy anyway. One suggestion: I travel internationally and weights can be in either lb. or kg. When I change units in "settings" my entire log changes unit labels but does not change the number to be the equivalent. It would be convenient to be able to work in both units depending on the gym's equipment.
Great app. The only problems that when you're reviewing work out history, the orange line cuts out some of the date and time at the top of the history and the fact when you finish a workout, it can load infinitely, and you have to restart the app (the work out data is still saved, though).
