When I first got SimpleMMO I uninstalled it. But I reinstalled it and this game is so fun! It is easy to understand, and leveling up is fairly easy. While you are not able to really see new places, you can see text, and basically imagine how the world is. You can travel to different towns with different music. The game does get a little bit repetitive, but other than that it is super fun! Overall SimpleMMO is a good game to kill some time, and easy to understand. Recommend to the reader!!!
Fantastic concept! Interface, market and community are a solid 5/5, but the emphasis on simple is understated. There isn't a correlation, as far as I can tell, between one "step" and another, meaning the story is completely random and unimportant. The weight you give to this game can only be achieved by grinding levels and acquiring a higher status among other players. It seems like less of an RPG and more like an MMO. A fun waste of time. Edit: 5 stars = more depth to the actual story.
It's definitely different! I find myself coming back to it daily. For just a simple "stepping" game it gives you a lot of different things you can do. There's a decent amount of customization (if you're willing to pay), and it's a hoarders DREAM! So many items to collect! Great community, great gameplay, and so Simple!
Fun little time waster. I am sure it gets deeper as you play, and the tutorial is alright in giving you the bare bones mechanics. Some parts of the game aren't explained well (such as collections), but nothing game breaking that detracts from the game. Part of the fun is just figuring stuff out, and it would be ruined if a tutorial came up every two seconds for what is a pretty laid back game.
Enjoying the game so far and I don't think that later in the game (let's say above 1k levels) might seem boring, but I see it as the point of the game: SimpleMMO. Although some QoL changes or just bug fixes would be nice. Mine would be: 1. Make the multiselect in inventory not only sell, put to storage, but also make that every item you select you can put it to the collection. 2. Fix that when you add to collection an item, nothing happens (you can refresh but is annoying) Still deserves my 5 ⭐
Interesting concept! Simple game where you take 1 step at a time, with random encounters, and even random text in each room. Super quirky - even players can submit travel text. Tons to collect/ do, can easily keep you clicking for the next room. FEEDBACK: Now I know you don't taste Taco Bell bad because it doesn't have burgers, but it would be cool to have some sort of dungeon- type concept, or other arcs that had some relation. But, if that's out of design scope, that's fine, too.
Fun game. Edit. The menu system is really confusing for a new player. I haven't played for that long (a week or two) and I still end up lost some times. Also, extra info about how the events work and how you get event currency would be good. Still unsure about one of the two currencies of the current event. This is what is preventing 5 stars in my opinion.
I don't understand what I'm doing and the UI is buggy but I want to keep playing. I like the game. Seems like there are a lot of systems in the game but I don't understand how most of them work. Also the amount of grinding seems too high. You have to complete quests 50 times but you can only do 5 completions at once, then come back later? Kill 250 enemies to level up but you can only do 5 at a time then come back later?
I feel like I do not understand the concept. You click on a button, text appears, you read it in a few seconds, wow cool, you wait, you click on a button, and so on. After a while poking around I did not find anything satisfactory to do. The events are super short in contrast to the clicking on a button a waiting for something interesting to happen.
Permanent safe mode isn't permanent. Wanted to come back to this game after unfortunately having an iPhone as my daily driver for several months, and I came back to hundreds of millions of the in game currency gold taken from me by other players, even though I had enabled the 'permanent' safe mode while I couldn't play easily often. Great game, would love to recommend it, but don't get invested in it, because life will happen and you'll lose all your progress.
Super simple, easy to figure out, rather self explanatory. The basis of the game is leveling up by traveling and fighting monsters. There is an insane amount of times to collect. Overall could be played for a few mins or an hour. Worth checking out. Don't give up before you give it a chance.
The name says it all. A throwback to text-based RPG's that is simple and charming with plenty of character building. You truly do not know what will happen at each step. Dialogue can be intense or downright hilarious. This my new end-of-the-day-before-bed winding down game. I've been eyeballing it for a while and now I wish I downloaded it sooner.
An interesting game that has some hilarious dialogue connected to it. I kinda wish that taking steps could be different. Maybe like a setting to turn off text would be nice. The texts are pretty funny but they do get kinda boring after a while. I like this game a lot otherwise. The fact that some trash item is on the market for a million gold is hilarious. Most of the time the stuff that's expensive is worth it tho. Overall I am having fun playing this game, thanks for making it!
While very simple and basic it's alot of fun, note that some of the texts that show up are super outdated but alot of references are thrown in for fun. Edit: What can be done better.... Update the travel texts so they aren't as repetitive, or are more recent, a large number of texts say things about leaves falling from invisible out of season trees but that's not a thing in the version I'm playing on. I can't fit more suggestions because of character limit on reviews but I have several more.
Surprisingly awesome! At first I thought it would be a boring game, mostly because I not much into RPGs, but I liked the idea and gave it a try. Ok, you have to spend a lot of time clicking one single button, but the game has good catch phrases, some nice and smart jokes and it even explore a kind of metagaming when Dev notes comes as part of the journey. There are a bunch of items and so much to unlock. It's incredible the effort put into this game. A must play if you're a RPG fan!
I like the idea of this. Yes, it's simple, but too simple. Sure I haven't played enough to unlock jobs or guilds. But I'm already getting repeated dialog and I just started. I'm also seeing numerous misspelled words and without any choices what so ever, it's way too dull to continue on. I thought it would be like Gaia Online but in MMO fashion, which I'm super bummed that it's not.
I liked this game it is very simple i haven't even seen an advert yet in the 3 days I've played it. There is a good player market to buy and sell and I managed to make a decent amount of money on my first day to buy what I needed for a great start. The 2 issues I have and the reason I'm going to stop playing is. 1. The walk feature takes too long,I have limited time through my day and clicking walk to watch a bar fill up is quite frustrating, the time for that needs to be halfed at least. 2login
The game is, as advertised, a simple one button press experience... basically rolling a die and pulling out an RNG entry. I was enjoying this on the toilet or while waiting for a call back. However, for the past 36 hour the game has repeatedly changed and scrambled my password. I have a password manager. It's auto copied into the field each time I have to log in. It works on every app I use except this one. I've reset the password twice now and the account login has refused me repeatedly.
A really fun game that is simple to start playing and isn't too hard or too easy. If there was one thing I could change it would be an advanced tutorial for people who have reached a certain level as the game gets harder to understand the further along you go. Other than that overall, a good game.
Definitely a biased opinion cuz MMOs are my top game genre, but I think this game is incredibly entertaining despite just being randomized text on a screen. So many wholesome groups of people in guilds, and the whole community itself is nice and wholesome. I love finding little easter eggs in the travel texts, as well as finding multiple texts that tell one story. It's definitely buggy here and there, but it's honestly a small price to pay in order to get the enjoyment I crave from this game.
The game is very addictive and interesting and most importantly (at least for me) user friendly, though there's definitely room for improvements. Additional options to make the game more dynamic than it already is would help, a tutorial is also needed.
Got me instantly hooked on the game. Game really proves that gameplay is more inportant than graphics. Maybe a more complicated combat system would make the game better, but it's still a great game. Keep up the good work.
It's a simple game, as is its namesake, but it's also wonderfully complex, engaging, and fun. The community is the most positive and wonderful I've seen for a gaming community. Stepping can get dull at times, and I wish there more actionable interactions in stepping prompts to engage the player, but it's not so bad when stepping and doing other tasks like watching tv or at work. It's a good idle progression system. Great game, I recommend to everyone.
Simple gameplay, yes, but rich in complexity of community, adventure and content. Incredible game, does not rely on advertising, definitely not pay to win. Love it. One of the best games on the play store, hands down.
This game is fantastic, it's simple to get started and fun once you have everything unlocked (around lvl 20)... My favorite thing will forever be selling simple things for stupidly high prices on the player market. Overall great game and super easy to get hooked
Seriously why is it so darn slow. Each step takes forever. No details of your characters HP or other useful info while stepping. No idea how to put things on market for the price it says it is. The quick sell also doesn't tell you the item price it's selling for. So you easily sell something worth 16000 hold for 20. It's a game which might be alright but has a long way to go.
Overall a good experience. The UI can get in the way (why does the step timer not persist when I navigate away and back to it?), and there need to be more changes made to usability (multi-collect is one example).
Overall a pretty good game! Really enjoying it. Very simple indeed but there enough depth to this game if you want to get more invested. One thing I could say, a slight improvement in the user interface would be nice to make the experience smoother but after that a very good game!
