Huge step backwards: older versions let you choose the backup directory in Settings. Just got the latest version to restore backups on a brand new phone and this seems no longer possible. Since I can't find the Local Backups directory used by the app in the new phone, it's useless. When I first got this it was great. Then stopped backing up Chrome bookmarks, less great but could at least copy backup file to my computer. Now that ability is gone.
This app screwed up my contacts completely, after I tried to restore them. I think maybe it got confused with an out-dated backup of Samsung or Google or whatever I wasn't aware of. In any case, most of my contacts were in there twice, some super old contacts that I deleted months ago reappeared and some were just lost. I have no clue what happened. Do not recommend. Update: I asked them to give me access to my backup data since I couldn't access my data after I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. They replied they would get to me soon. After another reminder from me I never heard from them again. So now Google has my personal data but I can't access it, great. If I could I would leave them two bad ratings...
I have tried many different apps for backing up files, data and contacts. "Easy Backup" is the easiest fastest and most convenient app by far. And to date the application seems plenty secure. I will keep you updated on how things progress.
it saves somewhere.... it does not say what's the name of the file. I did not see how to save on the Google drive, looked all over for the backups files could not find them. they ask you to share data in an effort to combat fraud???? that is definitely not honest. all in all unusable for me
No longer works. Previous versions worked well. I recently backed up to Google drive, received the notification that the back up was successful and preceded to reset my phone. Not only does the app not even give me the option to restore data, it did not even back it up at all this time.
Super easy to use! Sync old phone. Keep old phone & contacts as backup. Many negative reviews about losing contact list. At end download process App asks where to save contact list. Very bottom of window 2 gray boxes I chose export. Will open window w/several choices. I chose Google Drive. wait 4 upload to complete. Do not leave Easy Backup App yet. Choose export a 2nd time & save contacts again to 2nd place. My Contacts saved both places. I dwnld 2nd App loaded contacts in case this one fail
I love this app.. I've used it since my s87, then s8 now my note 9. And it work great every time.. you can back up on cloud or to a file and export. Its fast and accurate every time.. I know Google backs up.. but always good to have a separate system that was made just for that.. Give it a try - you'll be happy you did!!
Very fast after installation. Installation was little bit confusing and time taking . But after installation,. it is very fast . But it does not backed up to Google drive. Because After back up to Google drive when you sync another mobile to same Google drive...the contacts not coming to contact list. But if back to gmail and import back... the contacts are coming to your phone
Backed up from Samsung galaxy S5 Mini on Android 6.0.1 using Easy Backup. Took around 5 minutes. It said it backed up 185 contacts to 3 files. Transferred files via Bluetooth to new phone Samsung Galaxy S9 running Android 10. It said transfer successful. Started Easy Backup on new phone. Went to My Backups. It said 0 Local Backups, and there is no option to search for the files received via Bluetooth, so that option is useless. Went back and transferred the files from old phone to cloud. Restored successfully on new phone from cloud. On new phone I went to My backups, clicked on cloud backup, clicked on the file, clicked Preview, Select All, Restore. It said all were restored. Checked Samsung Contacts app. No contacts there. Checked Google Contacts app. No contacts there either. So what am I missing?
really easy to use. I have been able to transfer between phones, and do a backup before a factory reset, and these worked flawlessly. Being able to decide whether to back up locally or into the cloud is also nice.
I think it's a most convienent Application on Play Store for mobile contact back-up. I have tried it before processing Factory Reset, and became so satisefied with it, this app have done it's job perfectly. Now have to see how it restores the backed-up contacts in mobile after Factory Reset. How is the way of restoring contact, that is have to see. So right now i am giving it 5-STARS, which can be change or will be as it is 5 if the contacts restoration process will be also as perfect as back-up.
Need to be able to save unused contacts. Some of my people are busy and I only contact a few times per year. I had to export those with another method because this app considered them unnecessary, and there was no option to change that.
WARNING app developer wants to share your contacts with a third party for "fraud prevention". They give you an opt out but your contacts upload to THEIR SERVER and AUTOMATICALLY REUPLOADS THEM AFTER THEY'RE DELETED. I'm hoping that if I delete the backup and then the app they won't still have them. Will be reporting them to Google. Other than that the app worked well!🤔
App does backup contacts ,and allows to store on SD.Does NOT contain adds to annoy you , or to sucker buy it.Only problem is that to creates double entries through Vcard when restoring from SD to phone ,and if you remove the double entries then you loose both contacts .Might be my phone settings are primative in lollipop 5.0.But Eazy Backup should have bug fixes to correct this issue for older ,and new devices, to prevent deleting both contacts that get doubled over.
Easy to use. Fast backup to Google Drive, OneDrive and Email. It would have been much better if we could save it to local drive and sd card. I did not see any advertisement. Smooth and Very Easy to use.
Easy way to back up your contacts, you never know when an update or just a malfunction in your phone can lose all your contacts, I had it happen, but a backup saved me. This is easy to use and not a lot of adds.
Needed to backup contacts from my old phone which was an iPhone and transfer them to my new phone which was an Android. I stumbled across this app backed it up on my iPhone then installed it on my Android hit back up again and all 510 of my contacts were there. 5 stars and if I could give more stars I would good job for a free app couldn't ask for more, thank you
the top is very simple. It does exactly what it says. I was able to do a backup of my contacts and I verified its contacts are exactly what I have listed including all of the special and custom form fields.
The application is absolutely intelligent, effective and fast efficient. It achieved what I needed to do in seconds and that was so beautiful. Thanks for the application.
Since Gmail can be unreliable when it comes to backing up contacts. I can count on this app to keep them on the cloud. I just wish it had an automatic backup feature
Quick backup with all numbers and notes. Easy to restore. I also get to choose if I want to restore all the contacts or just selected ones from a preview.

Great fast backup,too easy, I checked that the contacts were all transferred to my email as I'm getting a new sim & if any contacts are saved to my sim card I didn't want them lost when I put my new sim in,this worked great,thanks Not sure why others complained it didn't work for them,but mine did- I have Samsung A71 phone & transferred all contacts to my email so I always have a hard copy
Needs to have some really important things added to it to make it worth while to have. Like a smaller mb size, better animations and faster buffering time to upload information input into the app.
Unable to upload the recent backup on cloud. It fails to upload. Tried many times and in many days. Could you please check and update. Pls note, all permissions are given to this app on my phone.
App is good but it is bad that I have to create an account before sharing my backup with another device. It would have been nicer if we can share contacts with another device via bluetooth or email, without creating an account.
Very accurate instructions and able to accomplish the objective. I appreciate the simplicity of the app in general.
THIS IS THE ONLY APP U NEED! 😀👍 Tired & frustrated with other apps requiring to setup an account or being charge for transferring your contacts or issues connecting devices? Then this is the app that will end all that. You don't need to download app on both devices just on the device with contacts and select which to email yourself to the other device. Easy peacy! THANKS EASY BACKUP! 👌😁👍
