Simpler Contacts & Dialer

Early days, but so far so good. I didn't like the multicolored avatars in the stock app. I like being able to set my own colors. This app is very simple to navigate and is not cluttered. Edit after first outbound call: I have stopped using the program and uninstalled. When I place a call, I get a dialog asking if I want to use phone or Skype. I select phone and the default phone app opens. If the app cannot make calls, I will stay with the stock app. I used Simpler on a Pixel 6 Pro.

I've only been on it 8 hours and so far this app has brought me a lot of relief and a lot of useful features. I might update and adjust the score later, when I've had it in use longer. I haven't yet figured out how to use the cleaning functions so that I can skim through the entries that the software wants to delete, and remove the keepers from that list. So, so far cleaning functions are the only feature that I'm reserving judgment on.

It's very hard to get at the type of Software Apps for me, too find an application that'll do what I want it to do.. This application allows a lot of different ways of doing things and it just takes a little bit of time to learn... but once you do it's terrific because it really helps you clean things up and allow less mistakes by the way it's designed... I find it very intuitive. Thank you for a great program I highly recommend this for others

Ive been using the app for two weeks now and its been great, it's solid and predictable. The one thing i wish it would do is group together reprated calls from the same contact. By the end of the day i have multiple instances of the same caller. It clutters the call log and fills it unnessasarily, that's the only thing ive found that could be different. Otherwise well done!! Still liking the app six months later and it seems to have gotten better over time

I like the app and have used it for a while, in a recent update though. there's an annoying bug I've come across. When you open a contact and tap the Call button, it doesn't do anything. I've worked out that if you tap on their number, that will call the contact. Tapping the Text and Email buttons still seem to work normally though

idk... really hard to edit. It ask you to go back to your older version and edit it. Then sync to change it. Runs on SYNCING!!! NOT A STAND ALONE PRODUCT. Looks better than it runs, allows some robot calls through and thought Boost Mobile was bad and harmful. Stuff like that. Mergers are great,it did that very well. Overall? I'm going back to Google Play! Find what's best for me.

This app is a phone number app, with caller ID and spam blocker. It does so many useful things. It can still use more work like be able to separate similar names. Example my Daughter's middle name is my middle name. No way to separate and if you merge. A big problem arises. Especially if you make it a direct dial number. Other than that It is a good to.

They call this app the Simpler Caller ID I usually don't give a app 5 🌟 but in this case I have to make a exception. It is what they say, "simple" You don't have to go through so many steps to answer the phone, that by the time you do the caller hangs up. Everything about this app works great. Texting, your contact info never miss a phone call, GREAT APP!!!!

Fail. I just wanted an app that can do accurate caller id, let me edit contacts and make phone calls. It works for the phone calls. The rest not so much. Wont let me have the correct names for contacts. Apparently its out of date info from the internet is more important. Can't do caller id if I get a call from someone in my contacts. But if its got incorrect caller info from the web it will show. Its a total disaster. Should be removed from the play store due to its extremely buggy behaviour.

Well, very recently installed. Most caller ID phones will show call coming in on home screen, which is fine. This app seemed very upset that I didn't specify that, never been asked can we show call on home screen, it's understood that,it's acceptable. Well, I had just made an important call, and Bam! call was disconnected as other party answered, this app took credit that they disconnected my call if I didn't tell them show ID on home screen, disgusting, you caused hang up call due to that.

I loved this app & used it for a long time. But it looks like Google got their act together & finally added a dark theme to their phone app. Which makes this one obsolete. Sorry to see you go old friend. OLD: I wish the "dark" theme aslo included the screen when the call is connected. I would also like to see "notes" from contacts on screen with the name of person. For incoming & outgoing calls.

Multioptional user interface; fast respond at any user account individual app adjustment; plenty of configuring options for user satisfaction and in that way very inspiring mutual interact; for now , I find this app absolutely THE BEST I have used, of this type. Maybe could use some more options for in-app colour adjustment for particular tasks..😊💜

This is a very clever app. Let's face it, you can't have true Caller ID over data. By allowing sharing access (by all peers on the network - that is - the app) if another has that number stored in their phone contacts the app will share only the name entry, which is about as close to any sort of Caller ID a mobile phone can possibly get.

Seemless experience between phone and contacts. Very intuitive. Flawless user experience. Nice customization options. Great tools to keep your contacts cleaned up. Based on my experience, this is truly among the top 10 most useful and dependable apps in Play Store.

The program automatically imported contacts from Outlook, Exchange, and Gmail. It then suggested merging the duplicates. So fast, so simple. I was tired of MS and Google not working together. Have been trying to make that work forever. Pretty dumb to not try this third party solution years ago.

Simple is its name. There's not a lot of customization. If you don't like the way that contacts look as in how it's listed, You just have to live with it. there is no way to look at the groups that my contacts are in without creating my own groups inside simpler.

The app is very easy to use, aaesthetically simple and elegant. One feature I would love to have is if we can see all call history - incoming and outgoing - in one place for one particular number. The search bar at the bottom will really help for mobiles having large screens.

The team behind the creation of Simpler Caller ID application have all done a fantastic job. However, for this wonderful application to be among the top list, you will need to work on it tirelessly. There are numerous numbers that this application could not recognize, and you equally need to to work on the speed. Thank you as we look forward for positive response in this regards sir.

Requires access to your sovual media platforms. Skims contacts and friends info. The search function does not search through nicknames or occupation (which is what i needed after trying to find a replacement for Pixel phone). simply put: the app takes your info, and gives nothing back.

So far it does Most everything that I need. I love the flexibility to color code items for at glance recognition. Would like to see the Repeat function modified with a days of the week option. So far it's a keeper! Thank you!

Almost perfect app, except that it always opens on the last used screen, while i have selected the startup screen to Recents - annoying, because i almost never call the same person multiple times and so every call begins with at least one unnecessary tap to get back to contacts.

Pros: well thought, simple design, yet packed with reasonable features. Cons: shady business model, requiring sharing and uploading your phonebook. Blocker: doesn't work with physical (BlackBerry) keyboards - can't search, can't dial.

My contacts got thrashed in Verizon cloud. They dup'd repeatedly and morphed into a 14,000 item monster. After I deleted them out of Verizon cloud, I was able to use this app to eliminate duplicates on my device, see where I had different contacts located, and finally back up everything to my Google drive.
