Simpler Merge Duplicates

compared with Contact Optimizer, this app is much faster in loading in the comtacta, and managed to pick up some 50 out of 3400 duplicates that the other app didn't detect as duplicated. It lets me preview each contact to be deleted and preview of how the merged contact will look like, and I can select individual to be ignored or excluded. It also auto back up to local storage before the action. But from the backup, can only preview names and Account id, cannot see details.

It is incredible,. It did exactly what I want. I wish to suggest that you have to include the options for backup of frequently used contact in a separate cab file and the the option for backup of unused contacts in another file. This will help us greatly. This is to enable us not lose rarely used number, since some android phone perform auto delete of rarely used numbers as junk contact. When that happens, One can replace from the saved file of unused contacts.

Just accomplished a long overdue clean-up of my contacts. Tried using Google Contacts settings and rejigging my Android via Google account online to no avail. I had up to 10 copies of a single contact saved & it was beyond frustrating. I assume it happened when bringing my contacts over from my old phone, or trying to sync with my saved contacts. This app resolved my issue within half an hour and gave me options of which and how I wanted them saved. Well thought out and easy to use. Many thanks.

Simple, did as promised. No problems, one step took a bit of time where I wasn't sure if it was doing anything. Patience prevailed and merged over over 430 contacts down to just over 200. Why the phone didn't have this option automatically set in, I'm not sure, but this filled the flawed gap perfectly. Five stars, thanks for making life a little easier.

Used the app to reduce 2200+ duplicate contacts across four email accounts. Performed the backup as instructed and allowed the app to do its thing. Unfortunately, the app created ADDITIONAL contact entries in my OUTLOOK account for every one. I ran the app twice and now have 4500 more contacts. Either the app has a bug or the proper use of the program isn't as intuitive as it should be. I'm now seeking a different app to correct the problem.

Wow, this app really screwed up my contacts, apparently permanently. It merged contacts of completely different people, seemingly just because they had some information in common. This completely messed up my chat history. Restoring from the backup I made just before running the merge doesn't actually restore anything. So unhappy I trusted this app.

Amazing utility app was looking for these solutions for months. Finally have it. Very effortless experience I don't have to put much time it helped to reduce 700+ useless junk in contacts within 2 minutes 1. It removes duplicate contacts 2. Shows possible merges and merges them.

This app just achieved what I always thought of as an impossible task: cleaned my contacts! I've been saving contact numbers since 2005 or so and linking them to all sorts of back up mediums so I ended up with like 900 contacts on this device - most names don't even ring a bell any more but it's a hassle to delete contacts 1 by 1. This app just highlighted contacts that I never actually contacted and viola I now have only 100 contacts who I know and want to keep in touch with. Highly recommend

I used it before on previous phone(Huawei) and now on a Blackview and so far it works very well. Its lists all your accounts like whatsapp, Google etc including what is on the phone and lists all duplicates and then you can edit, merge and delete from any of the listed places. Very happy with this app.

I change sim cards often, they install useless contacts over and over. I couldn't come to a solution with the phone apps — this one did the job right off the bat! Thank you very much!

Indeed a very good application. I was thinking of getting rid of my duplicate and unwanted contacts. It did it by a simple click. This is very easy to use and user friendly. This application is amazing. Highly recommend

Not a very safe app because it merged similar contact names apparently and messed up some contacts. Also found many contacts missing. Fortunately the app backs up contacts and there is provision to fibd and restore contacts from backups. However this is for those a bit technical. On the whole, I'd say AVOID this App

Simple and fast? Not really. This app keeps showing me the spinning little icons without ever coming up with results. I gave it two hours before I gave up. The same when I tried again. I'm on Android 8.1.0. Uninstalling as of no use.

This app is working perfectly. Some contacts are stored in the Phone app, some on the sim card, other in Google. If I could move them all to one destination (or to all) at once, it would be excellent.

Great break down of all the contacts. Easy to clean out duplicates. I had 8473 of 1 contact and I could not find a way to do it with Verizon support. They are great but this app is awesome..quick and easy!

Excellent everything Phone app!!!!. Best everything app for a personal person's phone book. Very,very easy to use. Lots of information spots available to add to someone's profile. As I mentioned it's simply the easiest everything phonebook app that anyone who has a cellphone should truly have. It really, really is. Five Stars and more. so far a fantastic app that has cleaned up a considerable amount of duplicates. Just be sure that you review each name,phone number, and other information to ensure they are in fact the same. I did notice that for all the contacts where I only had an email (3900), I tried to delete all at once and it did not work.

It works and also has a few handy features like what to do about different contact names with same phone no. and about similar names. The only thing to improve is that it's hard to look for because it's called a Cleaner instead of Contacts Cleaner or simply Contacts because that's what I would search for in my app drawer.

Expected it to link contacts from my different accounts and instead it deleted all my Outlook contacts and everything only in Google, not happy. Backup also no use as restore puts all contacts into Google account instead of back in Outlook account. So now have duplicates in Google and nothing in Outlook, great!

Sorry. The interface was simply beautiful with that nice dark black theme. Problem is that your app could not detect any duplicates at all on my phone, when I know that I had over 1,000 duplicates that I had accidentally added to my contacts. I'm using Samsung A10s with Android 10.0.

PLEASE READ MY COMMENT FOR HONEST REVIEW AND USEFUL TIP. This is one of the best app I find do manage Your contacts. The reason I was looking for a contacts manager is because I was having multiple duplicate contacts which were sync by WhatsApp and Google duo. I TRIED MANY OTHER WAYS BUT DIDN'T WORK Then I install this app, open my contact app then go to accounts in the settings then turn off the sync off WhatsApp and duo. Then open this app make backup of your contacts before trying anything it's just in case. Then click on accounts select WhatsApp and select all contacts and delete same with duo. Then wait few seconds and vola . Magic worked . this app I am giving 5 stars because it's really simple as mentioned and no advertisements at all good UI good functionality.

So far so good it's easy and the good news is it deletes all the junk after combining all the duplicates. In the end reducing the clutter and combining all the data old numbers and addresses in to one. What a great app luv it!!

Clean, smooth, good suggestion for disconnecting accounts you don't want dips removed from. Only 4 stars, like others, ultimately I want a way to manually search across contact fields and manually decide which of chosen contacts to consolidate into one. Eg same email field & differ last name eg through marriage. First Step: merge two manually selected contacts.

The first app that gives you options when dealing with duplicate names, numbers or numbers that are technically the same except for the variance in carrier codes. basically a decent app, would have given it 5 Stars but the advertisements are a bit too much.

It has spot on options like no name, no phone , no phone and email. it is really a fast app that syncs with all apps. Performs back up before it merges. Such an easy and lite app. thanks developers.

Simple to use. Though would prefer if the functionality of the app is improved by enabling it to merge duplicate contacts at once rather than doing it name by name. It's tiring if duplicates are too many.

Android contacts are a mess because of the way they are implemented. This app helps you sort out the issues temporarily before Android messes up again. It's not the apps fault but the way Android contacts work.

Does exactly what's being mentioned in the description. Although the app is slow, you'll have to do multiple iterations for making sure all the duplicates have been deleted or merged.

This app is good!!. I had tried several apps to clean up my contacts. Most duplicated the duplicates and made a big mess even bigger. This cleaner did everything I wanted and gave a summary of its action. I don't normally leave reviews, but this worked so fast. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a cleaner.

This is the best app I found for Organising contacts. It's simple and very effective. It searched for duplicate contacts across all account like Google, Whatsapp, Telegram etc within few seconds and helped in removing / merging duplicates efficiently..
