My only complaint is the way parts connect in the build screen. If it can choose to connect either to the side or on top, it chooses on top. That means if you have multiple rockets in a row they with separate like spreading your fingers out. Causes the ships to break if they get too big. This is an awesome game that brings rocket sims to the casual gamer.
This game feels like a dumbed-down version of Spaceflight Simulator; there are far fewer parts, less things you can do with those parts (toggling individual engines repeatedly), and features in the UI that I really liked in SFS but are missing here (switching ships in the map). I realize that this is called SimpleRockets, but that should unjustify the price. To make the price justifiable, there needs to be much more content. I do hope this review helps but this game is a bit of a disappointment.
Great game. The orbital physics are simple yet intricate, and getting two ships to dock in orbit was the most worthwhile thing I've ever done in a game. Years later, this game still holds up excellently.
How many YEARS have I waited for the simple ability to connect something in more than on place when adding a new part. It is not difficult, and often ruins the game when it can't be done. Ridiculous. Stupid. Shame on the developer, they early never made anything more than a tiny test plane or they would have realized attaching things together on a rocket is actually important.
I rarely give 5 stars, so this is an incredible game. Easy controls, little to no ads, and a massive universe for you to explore. Endless possibilities. Best game I've played in a while.
kind of fun controls are easy building is easy though i feel it lacks... simpleness (no pun intended) but this is a pretty good second opinion if you don't want SpaceFlight Simulator ps the upcoming Simple Rockets 2 looks amazing i cant wait!
The biggest flaw with this game is that parts will not connect in more than one place, no matter what. This essentially makes building large rockets impossible because they will be unstable. 5+ years after I bought this game this simple feature has not been included. Sad, and essentially ruins any fun I could have with this game building large payload rockets due to the instability.
yeah it is kinda fun, but not really. -no career modes. you have no objective to do anything. -since it is 2d, you can't see planets, until you land on them. -no maneuver planning like in ksp. you just guess what will happen, fire the engines and hope for the best. i managed to go to mars, but i don't think anyone who doesnt have some experience in ksp could do it. -can't focus on a planet while flying. it makes even harder to get a nice encounter with a planet. 3 stars at best.
This is the best 2d rocket game on android and ios. I personally get most of my games from these devs, the games are so good. Now to the actual game. To avoid lag they made the planets a bit smaller and used creativity for the names smearth smars etc. Awesome gameplay too. There are so maby tutorials and challenges you wont ever get bored.
it's just a great game to sit down and play! you can have fun doing the simple stuff or really complex missions. For a mobile game its hands down the best space game that you can get!
The game itself is awesome. However, when I have my engines on, my rocket will randomly turn. This affects me when I try to land on the smoon, or other planets.
this is amazing game...please add one thing..that will change this game to the next level..please make an option that anable us to turn on and off a specific engines.. !! and then it will be a 6 stars game!!
I like this game but it would be a whole bunch better if the side decouplers worked properly. You can only attach one decoupler per side rocket.
I love it, but rcs control itself and the user isn't doin anything also same with the launch the space ship turn its by itself, pls fix this idk if bug or whatever but pls fix. Bye.
I have played a large amount of this game on pc and it's super!! I do have one big big issue and some small ones but the big one is the controlls.
Great game, however the joints are way too loose! What kind of rocket wobbles apart? Would give a 5 star rating if parts had some cohesiveness.
only four stars beacuse there needs to be lengths of the structurs (sorry for my spelling) and there needs to be wider fuel tanks and bigger ones
It is fun but it needs more things to do, if you are trying to find a fun rocket building game, this is it.

Actually this game was really good for it's era, but we were promised to have simple rockets 2 by this time this year and I don't see anything yet...
Best game ever if it runs. Occasional bugs but trying now to reinstall it
I couldn't get a refund and it's hard to control is stupid. Way you're going and I would be better off be playing Minecraft right now if I would have gotten the refund.

Looks good but when I build a rocket and spawn it will be fallen apart

Simple Rockets is a great game. It makes rocketry, a very complex subject, through use of intuitive controls and helpful tutorials, simple enough for anyone to understand and enjoy. Alongside a sandbox of the whole Solar System, there are also many, many different challenges of varying difficulty so you will never be bored with the game. I heavily recommend this game to anyone who loves science, rocketry, or just fun in general.
