Simplest Compass

Compass seems accurate when compared to my Suunto A-10 magnetic compass. Just a couple of strange quirks: Why is there a menu icon that does nothing, and why are there 7-8 significant figures in the "Bearing" reading? If the menu does nothing it should be removed; the most precision I've been able to get in the "Bearing" reading is 4 digits when setting my phone on a flat surface (the rest of the numbers change so rapidly they're unreadable and annoying to look at). Otherwise, excellent app.

Easy and accurate. Good to have when you need to use maps instead of navigation while walking.

if it works don't fix it SO PLEASE DON'T FIX IT as far as a simple compass goes it's as good as it gets Thanks for something easy to use an you don't need a PHD to figure out

no instructions? how am i supposed to hold the phone? does the needle point north? am i supposed to turn the directions around? can't figure it out. so i guess not so simple.

Best compas app

This works well on my Galaxy S3. I tried other compass apps but none of them worked so perfectly as this one. Others were giving wrong directions for example and some were too complicated to understand the direction itself. No fuss with this one and full on result, every time.

Never asks for extra permissions. Never bothers me with ads. Never demands for rating. Does not take up much space (almost 17kb only). A great addition to my phone-tablet.

No overreaching permissions required. Zsa Zsa Gaboars whining for bling interface can go hump.

Easyer to read than dgt compass becauce the needle do not move. Galaxy S 2.2, calibrate turn circle, flip phone.

Does what it should, nothing more, nothing less. Just the way I like my apps.

Great. Simple and light. The fixed point needle is a little jarring though. Perhaps change the needle into an arrow or line instead.

After i launched this app my HTC Desire stopped showing battery usage properly. Bug lasted until phone restart or until reconnecting via USB.

Perfect. Simple n light, uses hardly memory but does the job just fine. How all android apps need to be i think.

For those who need compass utility, pls install this. Simple,light and functional.highly recommended.

Really small app size, battery saving black theme, no internet permissions. I say that because it is not really permission free, this app has 8 permissions, my question to developer is why need those permissions? Simple sensor permission is really all you need. Remove all uneeded permissions for five stars.

It gets disrupted when the phone is close to a magnetic source like TV, speaker. Otherwise is a good compass.

A simple compass with no rights needed. No thrills but no setup either.

Exactly what I wanted, a basic compass app that works and not all tricked out. While there were a lot of reviewers who didn't like the stationary needle, I actually really like this feature.
