Simply Tuner - Violin, Cello & Viola

Wouldn't pick up the sound most of the time. I was trying to tune a cello and the A key worked for the first time. After that when I changed strings it wouldn't register sound from the cello most of the time. Other tuners do that just fine. I have a OnePlus 7t for the dev's reference. It was wonderful for the first string until it wouldn't even do that when I tried to go back.

Very nice and organized I needed something at home to tune with and I downloaded a bunch of different apps this is the best one in my opinion. I rated it a 4 because you have to change notes every time you do a new note.

Great app! Works perfectly and my teacher was amazed when he came to check my violin and see it was perfectly tuned! I just wish for one more add- on, maybe it coud mention if you needed to turn the bigger nob (No idea what its' name is) or the smaller nob (also noi idea) because, well, I broke my string trying to tune D. 100/5 it's amazing perfect for my violin. There are no adds so there are buttons on the bottom of your screen so you can change notes but you have change your note on the screen every time you change a note

This might not be the app's fault but on the OnePlus7 Pro, this thing is completely wrong. I tried tuning an A on the cello and found it far easier to use my ear with a YouTube static A440. Not only was this app inconsistent in readings, it somehow consistently wanted my A to sound like an A# or B. Didn't try other strings. Use your ears.

This is very good for beginner players, it is clear and tells the reader what string to play, but it is also very basic, you can only tune the strings and not individual notes, and not the best for more advanced players

Best violin tuning app I've found so far. Quick, seems to catch the note better than some others, and the fact that it starts by playing the note for the string you're tuning to is nice, and helps develop the ear.

Easy to understand for a beginner. Downloaded 4 other apps before finding this one. As a beginner at the cello and learning to read music, this was so simple and easy my cello was tuned within a few minutes even after restringing.

When I'm tuning my violin, on the G, D, and E string, they are all on the same volume acording to the app, and with A string, when I pluck it once it says it is really low, but when I puck it again it says it is slightly low please fix this. Any time I use it, makes it sound lower or higher than what its ment to be.

This app is a good app to download. However there is a downfall, when you tune some strings, like on the chello, they go funny and it isn't accurate any more. Except that, it is a good app and I recommend it to everyone😄

I gave this a 3. Sometimes the tuner will say that my instrument is too low or too high when ascend ago it said it was just the right pitch. Or when it said it's too low and when I lucent it, it said that it's to high. But after all it help me learned a little more viola.

Comments that say this is inaccurate are correct! I checked against an electronic keyboard and my partner with perfect pitch.... quite a bit off!

It says the A string on the cello is 'Very Low' and 'Tighten The String' and that and makes It worse. Overall, it's good! Keep up updating!

Honestly this is the best tuner app I've found for my cello. It is very precise with the notes, it gets my instument perfectly in tune and is super easy to use. 5 stars

I just dowloaded this app, and it was so easy to use. It not only told us if the note was too high or too low, it also told us what to do to tune the string. Awesome App!

By far the easiest tuning app I've used. It tells you whether you're too high or too low, rather than just telling you it's not right. It was super easy to tune my violin.

Had to replay the digital string everytime I adjusted the physical string. Didn't work properly. Edit: tried again, and it made me snap my string! Brand new cello and strings!

I was struggling with another app for 30 minutes, then I switched to this one. It took me only 5 minutes to tune my viola. 100% recommend!

I tried to fix my A string because it was to low, and i turned it a little and it said to high, and i slightly turned it and it said to low. At one point (after about 8 minutes) and i went to fix my D string and had the same problem. After i fixed my D i went to see if my A was still good and it wasn't. Im confused.

This app is amazingggggg. I just got it today and it is much more simple than the one I used to use. This app is the meaning of perfect. I like how the app looks and it is very great!! I would write this a billion more times!

Best tuning app I've use in a long time; guides you through step by step to tell your how to tune which usually takes me 10-20 mins but only took 5 mins with this. Would definitely recommend

It was just very wrong. when I selected the A string (highest) and played it the app said it was -40 but when I selected a again but played C (lowest) it said it was to -20 which is higher ???

Great app works better then all I've tried and has a simple interface too! Great app definitely will recommend this one.

Bad, doesn't give accurate readings and the app bounces from too high to too low. I don't recommend.

It was really bad it would only let me tune two strings and it was really quiet where I was there was nothing wrong with my violin and it still wouldn't work so I do not recommend this app it's stupid

Simple to use unlike some tuner apps I've used. Works great, this one is a keeper.
