I bought the pro version based on the claim that there would be no ads. This has not been my experience. After taking the image of each page a full page ad that I have to close comes up. This adds to the time to produce a single document. The ability to adjust to fit the perspective of the page is great, but becomes a nuisance step when there does not seem to be a way to opt out of it to produce a .pdf quickly. This is nice if you have the time to carefully prepare a finished doc. For speed, no.
I've had this app for a bit and even got the pro version. For some reason though, recently it shows me ads (even though the pro version shouldn't !) and crashes every time I try to scan. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but no change in behavior. It's become worthless as it cannot do the only thing it is designed to. I have emailed the developer twice but no response. I may revise this review if I hear from them, but until then ZERO stars. (Motorola Droid turbo, Android 4.4.4 )
I purchased the Pro version because I thought that this was a simple and well put together PDF scanner and I would have liked to use it without the aggressive advertising every time I wanted to scan something. Unfortunately the ads are still in the paid version of this app which is ridiculous in my opinion. I immediately got a refund and uninstalled in favor of another app called "TinyScanner."
Crashes right after corners are set on perspective crop. Sent off a bug report, never heard anything back. Glad I paid for the pro version, trying to support an independent developer. Waste of money, don't buy.
Ads are showing with pro key, indefinite loading after taking a picture. Back button brings up perspective adjust screen, FC on continuing. Needs some serious work.
Got pro version and still gets ads that pops up during the scan process. Ruins the simplicity of the process. Uninstalled and reinstalled still ads pop up. Also any docs and folders you scanned before also gets deleted.
Not only does the paid version have ads, AGAIN (they were removed update before last) but the app crashes each time I use it. Used to be such a great app. Dev is unresponsive.
Pro Version still has ads. Past that, the thing simply does not work. I have never managed to make it past the cropping stage before it crashed. I would avoid this app and definitely not buy the Pro Version like I did, hoping that it would fix the ads and crashing issues.
Version 1.8 with pro key v1.0 fc immediately after fixing scan on android 5.1 Absolutely useless as it stands, will update rating if dev ever bothers to fix it.
After using office lens, I've been too spoiled. Simplyscan used to be my favorite, but Office Lens is way more intuitive and quick.
With lollipop update this software gives frequent ads. And crashes often. I lost my documents as well.
Crashes virtually every time on Experia M4 aqua. Also, intrusive advertising despite purchasing the pro key. Uninstalling...

Doesn't work once you tick the confirm on a scan, just returns to the menu. It's also become full of ads and almost impossible to use.
This WAS a great app. Now it's filled with ads and crashes all the time. Unusable now.

Downloaded and never worked. Will take the picture and let you crop, but when you approve the crop, the app crashes. Useless.

This app used to work great, but now it's literally worthless. Crashes before you can even get anything saved. Horrible. What on Earth happened! Looks like it might be abandoned too...

Use to be a great app, now it's unusable
Keeps crashing every time I click on the tick to finish scanning. Looking at all the negative comments it seems the developers are slow at finding a solution to this. Developers: are you doing something about trying to fix this?

It was OK until last update. Now it FC every time I try to scan something. I also send a bug report. I have pro version.
Trash app now, used to function. One of the more recent updates destroyed it, as in it doesn't work at all. 100% of the time the app crashes after taking a photo and doesn't save anything. Also insists on showing ads even with a pro key. Don't waste your time, at least until App Holdings fixes things.
