Really poor user interface. Takes ages to load and constantly need to re enter login details. Often crashes or times out, and sometimes off line entirely so need to use the website. On occasion can't login at all. The information provided is great, but the software just not up to scratch...
Useless. Often doesn't work. Signs off on nearly every tap. Definitely not a replacement /alternative for the web interface. Wouldn't recommend to even try.
Total junk but then no one uses this by choice. The worse aspect of this platform is that it tries to replace text messages / email (which work very well) with it's own messaging system. Always requiring you to login pretty much every time you open it. Login process is slow and cumbersome. App is very slow at loading data and it seems always be loading. Crashes often.
Terrible and the only way I get school info. Im logged out constantly and can't log in. I have to delete the app and re install every few weeks. When it works its a good idea but it rarely works!
Terrible. Regularly logged out of the app - it can't be for security as the app's too slow for anyone to steal any info in it! Messages take ages to load, and when they do, their read status is often reset so I have large numbers of messages marked as unread which I have seen. The final insult is that the app not been updated for 2 months despite clear and consistent feedback from many users.
This app fails to load and crashes. It is so awful but school insists on using it. I cannot get messages. So I don't know whats happening. Pointless sending me notifications if the thing doesn't work. Notice there is no reply to all these ratings from the developers. Maybe they are aware how awful it is and hide in shame.
Poor app. Logs you out regularly so you miss notifications. Often end up in a login loop when trying to log back in. Takes an age to load messages, regularly get "Oops... " message. Can't wait for our child's school to switch systems.
Was good to start with, but since the last update it's been rubbish. cconstantly logs you out & if you're lucky enough to get in it doesn't load anything up at all. More annoyingly, I get notifications through but cannot get into the app to read them in full!
Constantly being asked to sign in and I get intermittent notifications meaning I miss important messages. When I can sign in, messages fail to load. This is the most basic and important functionality of the app and has been an ongoing issue. How did it manage to pass acceptance testing and why is it still being used when it's not fit for purpose?
Worst app ever! Doesn't work half the time and when it does, it doesn't show up-to-date information. Very frustrating!
One of the most unusable apps I have, looking forward to my children growing up so I can stop using. Constant login issues.
Terrible. Always logs you out, login usually fails and finding any information is a nightmare. Easier to use the school website and read their emails and text messages.
Used to be very good. Now it's generally very slow and constantly signs you out so you have to sign back in all the time or just doesn't load at all
Just awful, signs me out every time, not easy to navigate. Crashes for all school users regularly. The school have decided to ditch it finally and use edulink
The app is so slow it's painful. Often logged out, almost every time I open it. At times can't log back in.
Sims parent? Extra headache on the top of everything else. The session expires randomly. It can not read the messages sent from school. Slow. Temperamental. This app is supposed to reduce the amount of effort to communicate with the school but is it The developer is saying that they're working on it but it's too late. My son is finishing school soon. Enough
Awful! All you get is 'If you look on SIMS!' from school. System has not worked since Christmas 2021. It's supposed to be back up and running but it still needs work. Filter system on messages still doesn't work. Isn't there a way you can archive old/read messages?
Useless app. Constantly says "session expired, please log in" when I have logged in numerous times. Won't send notifications after it logs you out, so even when I have logged in I don't get notified when something relevant is posted. Nice idea, abysmal app development!
Logs out error loading pile of junk. By far the worst app I have ever used and schools think this is a good way to communicate? Can't access at all. Signed out everytime you try look at anything. What a total waste of time.
The app constantly logs you out and has errors. The rest of the app is only as good as the school who use it.
By far the worst app I've seen, tricky to log back in, on the numerous occasions it kicks you out for no reason, menu poor too
Awful app. It rarely works and either has a Failed to load error or just freezes. It's the main way my son's school communicates with parents so I miss out on so many important messages and information.
Of all apps I have ever come across, this one has to be right up there on the most frustrating and not fit for purpose list! If I had a £1 for every time I get logged out, then I wouln't need to work! Constantly having to contact the school to say I can no longer log in, even though I know the password is correct. Sort it out or withdraw it, pointless the way it is!
