The connection is very lousy. All my 8 devices encounter inconsistent connection since many months ago. Most of the time, most of the devices shows "connecting" or "device is offline". The WiFi signal is very strong. No issue with the WiFi. Is this issue cause by outdated software??? My devices were bought 3 years ago. This is frustrating. I have changed one of the device to Dlink and Dlink does not give me any connection issue!!!
No update since 2016 video is not so clear and it took quite a bit long to load the video when opening the app showing the "sineoji viewer plus logo" it should have option to play immediately when opening the app. Good thing is no ads. And can remotely play the recorded video in the sd card. Should continue developing this app.
Can only connect and view on wifi even though setting "only allowed under the wifi to watch video" is switched off. Cannot connect to view when on Singtel phone data (tested on 3 different phones, different accounts). [Update] Trying to get the IP camera and app to work via Singtel 3G/4G network was frustrating. Sineoji support was patient enough to troubleshoot the hair-pulling problem even though it was obviously not their app or device fault.
The app works ok on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 but recently I have switched to Huawei Mate 20 Pro and the app doesn't work at all with the EMUI 9 OS. Please provide an update soon. Update: Developer finally updated after waiting for 4 months. App is working fine now.
Same experience as already mentioned. Can connect on home WiFi but not when outside via internet. No support at all. Tried many things also cannot. Reset many times until one of my six IP camera now cannot reconfigure.
Seems like unable to connect remotely anymore. Something seem wrong with the server. Cannot view from other places. Bad bad bad. Only experienced this in March... please fix this ASAP or we WILL NEVER TRUST YOUR BRAND EVER AGAIN
Suddenly the app is not able to detect the camera. No image is seen. Tried to reinstall and change permission, still no image.
Same as other users, not able to connect if we are out of home network. Log a case with Sineoji, was told to make sure port management is set open .... offer $50 to do troubleshoot but cannot guarantee if it can be fixed...... not even want to give any star but 1 is a min.....
Lousy experience. Very slow and having difficulties connecting most of the time. Not sure is the developer doing any updates to it or not?
I experienced the same problem with remote connection. It takes forever to connect and of late, never been able to connect!

Why is it that I cannot find Sineoji Viewer Pro app in Playstore now except this version for another model. I am using PT818V. Use to be able to download it. Change handphone and need to reload, nowhere to be found. Call Singapore Support, left message, no response.
Can't play multi media at all. Once click on the media icon, the app exit by itself.
Exact same comment as other users was ok in the past, now cannot remotely access camera. Seem like Sineoji has stop supporting its own IP camera. Wasted my many hours of troubleshooting. Should have viewed the reviews earlier.
Can't connect when trying to view from outside. But easily connected when viewing from home WiFi

Just successfully configure on iPhone 7 but Samsung S7 (android 8.0) fail. Able to detect cam, still default password but fail to add camera.
Keep saying offline or communication error. Useless app. Hope can refund. Don't tell me pwd wrong. How to reset pad if wrong.
After your 8th March updates, I can't open muti-media on my Oppo phone! Before your updates, I have no problem.

This app was last updated in MARCH 2019. It is Jan 2021 at the time of this review. Connection is buggy, takes forever to sync up with cameras, if at all. UI is super backward and unintuitive. Avoid at all costs. They have obviously given up on this product. Saving up to get something better supported.
