Poor interface for 2FA. Every time I go to a new personal menu it sends a new OTP that I can't seem to copy. Really?? Please see how the banks do it. Apart from that, app seems OK so far.
Terrible to log on and register after each update. ALL My mail programs and even security wallet not demand to login again... usually updating is 6 weeks, thats most boring , not recognising user experiences . Dear Sia team pleas fix it, xie xie ni 2022-04-23: thank you for improving, after update the login to the app is almost not necessary , well done for Android, on iOS still same. 2022-04-23 bookings done correctly, Krisflyer account incl., but subsequent flight segments not visible ;-(
Forced to update app and now can't even launch app. It just crashes everytime. 8/3/2022 Deja vu. Again, forced to update but can't login. Fingerprint didn't work, kept leading me to key in password. Even though I've keyed in the correct password it just keeps prompting that my password is wrong.
No changing flights. No arranging meals with premium economy. No flight delayed notification. Most of the essential things you'd like to have happen on the app won't work. Pretty much just a waste of space on your phone.
Singapore Airlines have done everything possible to avoid any live contact with customers. The app is just another giant FAQ suppository. It's a shame that this once - respected airline has gone down this path.
Alighted the plane and was told my luggage wasn't on the same flight and will be delivered the following day. Took 36hours+ for the luggage to arrive at the airport and I had to head down and collect it MYSELF due to THEIR fault for the error.
Just installed this app. Registered first with email and password. Opened app on first time use and tried to log in. It asks in red for Krisflyer no. Or email add, so put my email add in. Enter password in password field. Press login, in red it again asks for Krisflyer no. Or email add. Trying to add my fingerprint instead had me going around in circles. A fantastic airline by all accounts but the app has failed for me at the first hurdle. I'll stick my searches to the Malaysian airlines app.
terrible. app barely works, can't put in in phone no or frequent flyer. forget calling them as hey don't respond and not to emails either. not what you expect of Singapore airlines
Amazing. This app will keep you updated about your flight details and where to get your baggage. Very good help!
Nothing special. I would like all of these airline apps to display less information, rather than giving multiple useless options. It's like the designers have never travelled.
Awful app. Often more expensive than the website. Does not save your bookings and info properly. The feedback and complaint form has no submit button. Cannot select meals or seats. Singapore Airlines are really bad these days, their cattle class seating is a disgrace, uncomfortable and so squashed. Their "budget" airline Scoot is far superior. And the prices these days!
My flight was just cancelled without informing any reason. And worst they didnt offer to rebook in any date thingking this dates are no longer available but surprisingly exact same flights exist in there website. They just offer to refund and book again a new ticket with a higher price. They'll just destroy all your plans just because they decide to do .. shyt company, never recommended.. avoid to save your plans and money

I installed yesterday , today it won't open , just freezes all the time
once I passed certain points in the booking process I had step back to make a minor change but was forced to re enter all the details again. I missed one seat selection but was not able to go back to add it.
Took 3 hours to book a flight. Was having trouble paying for my booking. On the phone, on hold, for more 3 hours. I was very frustrated and disappointed.
What an embarrassingly poor quality this app is. I’m really surprised this has been approved by Singapore Airlines, as it behaves more like an app when the technology was in its infancy many, many years ago. This is diametrically opposed to the quality the airlines strives to uphold. It breaks all best practices developed in the industry over many years. This is by far the worst airline app I have ever come across, and this has not been addressed during the many months I have been waiting for the problem to be addressed. It's so slow that Android pops up with message that it has hung and offers to restart it or wait for it to become responsive. This I have never experienced with any app, furthermore my phone is brand new, last generation! I cannot begin to think about those using a 2-4 year old smartphone. This app is useless for the journey, as the constant hanging will render you unable to supply the required info in a timely manner at each and every check-point, starting with check-in.
The latest update on 14 August fixes the issue with trips disappearing from the app (and not being able to add it back thereafter). But make no mistake, there is absolutely no way this is the world's best airline. Best airport, maybe. My vote for best airline, hands down, goes to Qatar Airways. Flawless end-to-end experience. Every. Single. Time.
Previous version was very slow. Here's hoping for some improvement in the overall performance. Update : still very slow. Basically they haven't optimised the app to run on smaller devices. The functionality looks like the browser version, albeit, slightly trimmed to fit the smaller screen.
After the horrible experience with their website, I thought the app couldn't be as bad. But really, it is. Long, unreasonable loading times, errors, can't add any of my trips, no boarding pass. Really hoping my actually flight experience is going to be better, bc currently I am wondering how this can be the best airline in the world.
Not very user friendly, keeps failing with multiple redirects error more often than not. Have never been able to move past the page where cost of the flight is shown,but clicking on cancel promptly gets back to the previous page. Was not able to update meal/seating preferences and had to eventually call customer care on more than one occasions in the past!
Many users have spoken about loading times etc, which I'll skip, as the product owner will simply use the "upgrade our server space" excuse. What I want to draw attention to is the design and UX itself, which is completely unintuitive. The designer evidently put little thought into the actual flow of using the app. Eg: under Manage my Booking, if I want to go back, I have to get out of the booking entirely and start again. The back button takes me to some completely unrelated web front page.
it was awful. been experiencing lagging in this app. from finding flights to book, to checking in. make you fill up details halfway and when you proceed to next page, it reflects almost a blank page and cannot proceed further. i had to re-do a few times or sometimes just give up and abort this action. instead I had to re-login to my pc. the app used to be good. but since 3 months ago, it is almost a useless one. time for team to upgrade. try using it now to experience the frustration.
not easy to use. address had a coma & it won't go thru. but didn't explain why.
Extremely slow, unfriendly interface. Shows too little information in one screen. Need to press buttons to load next screen when information could have been presented on a longer page and user simply scrolls down. Every single thing you do on the app calls up the spinning wheel - why? Hardly use the app cos of this extreme slowness. The website is much better designed. Can't believe the app is poorly designed compared to the website (one of the best in the world).
Having been a user for years, I can't help but notice that every few mths, new problems crop up. This is like a recurring bad dream. In the last 2 weeks til now, I am facing an intermittent prob with redemption flights search. I served you as an IT provider few yrs ago. I have a fairly good idea of your IT landscape. To me, it is sub-par & you are slow in addressing known problems. You use too many open source products which do not come with proper support. Running out of space...........
performance is way down than earlier. the app stalls/freezes after going to check in screen or choosing an option (like change seat). Even after restarting the app several times the results the same. it's really frustrating from a user perspective. I am using Samsung S9+ with latest Android platform and still getting the issue. Singapore Airlines is one the best airlines and I believe they should relook at their code or an update that might have caused this issue with the app.
Horrible app, nothing works. Checking in, managing a checkin, changing seats, all takes ages to load or doesn't load at all and then you have to start all over. All are basic things that are very quick in other airlines' apps or even websites. For every single flight you have to enter emergency contact details and own contact details manually again. If you want to be the best airline in the world, please also develop a proper and quick app, because this one only causes frustration.
Useless. Will not save itinerary, gives an error upon opening page, saying no booking found. Before I try to enter a booking. Clear error, enter booking reference, booking displays fine. Does not save. Gives error again when returning to tab in same session. Repeat process every time I open the app. Useless. Actually worse than useless, as it's wasting my time. Impossible to report via any SIA page due to errors there...
