Imagine standing at a bus stop with a heavy bag in a hand and you open this app. The ad comes up and you wait until the close x appears. 30 secs go by and no x appear. You start to click on the top left and an web page tried to open and you try to close it. Relaunch the app and again another ad but luckily there's that tiny elusive cross. App opens and you find your bus stop and the bus...ah yes. And then you realise the bus has just left.

The ads are getting absolutely ridiculous. After opening the app you are forced to view an ad for at least 30sec before you can even access the map. It's such a shame because the map is the best ever, but the ads just completely destroy the user experience and make the app an absolute pain to use.

Ad last more than a minute each times and not once but a few times as switch between each layer of the map info. Used to be my go to appn for Sg map info. Deleted. Will give zero star if there is one. Switch to LTA One Map. No Ad and provide more information too.

Really liked the interface of this app but takes super long to load each time I want to use it because there are too many ads which takes 5 seconds before you can close it. 5 stars if you fix this.

Loud advertisement music even after turning off mobile volume , feedback many times but no reply, reload everytime going back to the app and have to see advertisement again each time it reload , getting worse , don't think they care anything about customers experience ,just want to earn advertiser money but don't care about the product . By the way ,the loud advertisement music actually pop up when I was in a conference even though my phone was in silent mode, super embarrassing

zero star for your app. very very dissappointed with the latest update. every time refresh it showed the ads and got to wait few seconds before map is loaded. please revert back to the previous version, if u still stick to this and ignore users complaints, am sure many will stop using your app and delete it. in the end you are the loser and will lose your advertising dollars. think twice about this.

Ads are too intrusive. Every press of a button involves watching an ad, which can even be buggy to the point it is unclosable. Totally unusable. What happened to the pay to remove ads feature?

Ads spoil the app, constantly popping up between clicks and making it unusable. I will actually gladly pay a reasonable one-time fee to get rid of them permanently.

Full of desperate ADS with every tap, slow page load due to priority given to advertisement and video ads consuming precious data! Recommend Onemap instead. At least Onemap is super fast and No ads.

I thank this app for serving me well for the last 4 years. Great detail with the buildings and updated public transport. However, a recent update has plagued this app with too many ads. Each time you exit a page, an ad opens up and you have to wait 4 seconds to close it. It does not sound bad but this happens EVERY SINGLE TIME. Really sad to say it's time for me to retire this app. I use Citymapper now.

Map is very detailed which is good. But it takes way too long to load, and the ad at loading makes it worse. To have this slow loading and ad display occur repeatedly even when we leave the screen just for a few seconds, is extremely annoying and not user friendly. It deters me from wanting to use the app further. User experience needs to be improved.

The app starts up very slowly. Navigation is a nightmare. Often pressing the back button either kicks you out of the app or brings you to an irrelevant page. Lately, there are too many ads popups that boil any user's blood. The most annoying thing is the ads that pop up is the same ad over and over again. (Want people to buy and buy the same thing?) The developer simply has no regards for user-experience. Shame on him!

Used to be the best map app. I like the interface more than gmaps. Showing of bus route is fantastic. However, with the new excessive ads that cover the full screen, which seem to stay forever, with bugs, the app is sometimes beyond usable. Spending minutes to wait for ads and ends up can't using the app is stupid. What's more is that such app is often being used outdoor at crucial time when we need to find directions. Have to wait 5 minutes for the ads to finish in such situation? Kidding?

The advertisements are getting atrocious. No way to close them, despite being forced to click on them it doesn't even close. Rendering the app usable. Not to mention the ads getting displayed more and more often, meaning annoying. The app also forces users to view ads by always reinitialising itself even if you put the app running in the background. Uninstalling. No more ads.

Love the map with all the detailed info needed... But the love for the map is not enough to cover the hatred I have for the full screen ads with sounds that pops up every now and then, especially when I select Home. The ad is seriously too much... I would gladly pay a one time fee to have a Pro version without the annoying ads.

Horrible, I have been using this for years, but recently the ads are getting very annoying. Some even force you to watch the entire ad, plus to loading speed. ohmy... I wouldn't have mind paying for a No Ads version but it's not available, anyways, I've download SG Map, its faster in terms of loading speed & there are no ads, do give it a try guys :) Horrible app really & yet the developers are not doing anything

From OK app to not-so-ok, to real bad app. As you can see from other reviews as well, basically: 1. Loud and intrusive full screen advertisements - sometimes you can't find the speaker icon to mute it. 2. If you toggle between apps and come back after 1 min, you get full screen ad again. 3. When you click on a building, the full address is now in a very much smaller font / difficult to see. 4. Other than full screen ad, you also get a bottom banner ad. Such a waste - good app turns bad.

Echoed all the comments here. Excessive ads, it happens after every single command. Open App (long loading time), see Ad, click back to map, see Ad, seems like at every junction, ads pop up every time for at least 5 secs. Sometimes you are just in a hurry to check the correct bus stop to alight at the last second, and the ads just made you miss the stop. With all these comments and the ads are still going on, I guess the priority of revenue making for this app outweighs the usability.

Singapore Map took quite some time to load. And when i launch it, the main page will stay as though it is stuck. I frequently use this map to navigate my way around, therefore i feel it has to be quick to launch & fast to load. Disappointed that it is loading slower & slower every time i use it. Pls do something. Interface was easy to read & understand.

Ugh! The ads are back and its so annoying! Sometimes you need to check something RIGHT away and it takes so long for the ads to finish... Then at times the (X) button does not even appear! When you just need to refresh it, another ad will appear. Its like the ads are the main app and streetdirectory is just the ad! Full of ads!!

This map app used to be ok 1 to 2 years ago. But now it is a USELESS MAP App. Starting it triggered and force you to watch so many advertisements. Almost Non stop.

Download this app if you love watching advertisement, video advertisement, press link to more advertisement, after watching few minutes of advertisement still no map, you just continue watch advertisement. Don't know why they call as map app.

Ad always work n music very loud and cannot mute. I After the Ad the map always fail to work. Very frustrating using this app
