SINGER® Sewing Assistant

Could potentially be helpful if it included more machines. I know my 2932 is an older machine, but it would be nice to have the manual on my device so I don't have to carry the book if I'm out looking for parts like bobbins, for example. The app looks great and all, but I have to agree with the other reviews asking for more machines to be included.

I recently purchased a 44s Classic, of which this app covers. At first I thought the app was just the basics, and maybe it is but I am finding it really helpful. I'm a beginner in sewing so this app is proving to be very handy! The setup instructions, covering stitch width, length, tension, etc., along with the animated video showing the process is very helpful to me.

This app could be amazing, I hope they add the rest of their machines and other features/content. Singer has so many resources that could be added. This app would be so helpful to a lot of people. Singer, this app feels like it's been the beginning stages, please continue to improve this app! It could be one of a kind! Also, I am in school for software engineering. Most disappointing app ever!! Just bought and registered. Went to downloads, oh look a sewing assist app. Opens app and there are only 17 models listed. Mine not included. When you add all models i will give it another try. I honestly have never been so disappointed.

Seems like a great app! Sadly it doesn't have all models. I wish I could have used this app since I'm a beginner and would have loved extra help.. but I have the Singer Fashion Mate 5560, which this app does not have as an option. I'll try this app again if they come out with more model options.

I'm a beginner; never even took home economics in high school 20 years ago. This app is perfect, it helped me set up my machine and explained about stich width, length ect and helped me figure out what Iwas doing wrong. I will use it for a while, but prob wont need it once I'm advanced.

missing a lot of models. What seems like a great idea is missing their own motive. The app only refers to few machines letting the most popular ones outside the lists. I'm in a country where most of the videos and apps arenin arabic ñ, language that i dont speak or understand sonkts hard to find information regarding my sewing machine such as tutorials etc.

It has no trace of my machine. I bought a Quantum Stylist 9960, and the ONLY machines available on the app are the lower end to heavy duty mechanicals. Not one of these machines from what I could tell were computerized. Really Singer? Serve your entry model clients and ignore those who bought a premium model? I'm all for the little guy getting a high five, but this snub smacks of total suckage!!! Thanks for offering me zero perks for buying this machine. #bigregretbuyingSinger!

Most user friendly app I've ever seen! If you have a singer 10/10 would recommend! Everything you need to know about your specific sewing machine, in a well organized and explained manner! Well done!

I love this app I just learned hoe to thread the needle with the threader. So cool. I thought there would be more but the machine the parts the thread and some of the patterns. Still I love it.

Very helpful and informative. I recently discovered the 4423 model gathering dust in the closet from my mother and decided to pick up sewing. Attempted to figure it out for a week before I learned of this app and the guides helped me correct my mistakes. Smooth sailing from then on.

While this App is just so-so, and surprisingly and shockingly DID actually include the machine I own.......for all the rest of you who were less than thrilled with this App: Does it come as any surprise to any of you?? Literally, EVERY one of Singer's instructional resources are SOOOOOO "half-assed"....... Honestly, I will NEVER purchase another Singer product EVER again.

Absolutely amazing app. I'm recommending to everyone in my sewing groups. Breaks down everything and simplifies the entire process from threading machine, what stitch to use and how to do it, and techniques. Thank you so much for this app.

I just bought my singer fashion mate 3342 and found out about this app through joann.com and it's complete! I loved it!! It saves you so much time! And makes the learning process of how to handle a sewing machine so much easier. Thank you!

This app does not have India region, and all models are not listed, most of the users of sewing machines are from rural or lower middleclass, so there should be regional language available, otherwise content of app is ok, need improvement.

Bought a 4452, and turns out I'm in the niche demographic for this app. Would be smart to cater to a broader audience, but I'm not going to lead a petition to change anything. I'll take advantage of this as long as it serves me, and drop it when it doesn't.

Would be great if this app included a greater support and selection for other models outside the Heavy range. Shame really, as this is the main gripe in the comments.

Possibly outdated app? I have Singer machine 5560, the machine isn't on the app. So I can't use the app since it prompts you to select a machine. Please reach out if theres another way I can enjoy the app, and I will change my review.

Just bought a C430, was looking forward to using it's many features thoroughly. Alas, it didn't make the short list for this app.

Last update was 3 years ago. It's not been updated or expanded to include current machines. Limited information on what has the potential to be truly helpful.

Although I haven't completely checked it out yet, it seems to be a decent app. I think beginners would be able to understand the instructions. It would be helpful, however, to include a link to the Singer website.

I wish this had more Selling techniques to show you. Also wish you could view accessories that go with your machine, such as types of presser feet and how each one is used.

Great app for helping figure out whichever machine you have. The videos and instructions are very clear and understandable.

Unless I'm doing something very wrong, my machine is not listed even though it's only 3 years old and still on sale. Also no overlockers, I wanted to find out about a machine that I am considering to purchase.

Got a new machine and was very excited to have an app to assist me. Unfortunately my machine is not even listed on the app. Very disappointing.

Singer Simple 2263 is now simple to use! I found out about this app from looking at one of Singer's YouTube playlists. This app with it's videos is extremely helpful to be as a beginner!

Looking for help learning how to use my new sewing machine. On the website for the machine, go to videos, see this app. Download it, my brand new machine isn't even on this app. I can't find any videos for my specific machine.

This app is just out of date. I have a Fashion Mate 5560, and there's no model available close enough to mine to even say more than that. For versions older than the 4432 it may work.

They don't list my machine, the Fashion Mate 5560... Only about 10 or so machines are listed? Kind of frustrating... I uninstalled the app right after downloading it because of this.

Doesn't have the Patchwork 7285Q; I'm not sure why but it isn't. I just bought the Patchwork 7285Q because of a family friend recommended it but I'm new to the sewing machine thing so I was hoping this app could help but I guess not, so Disappointed. 😔
