I've been a SS member since 2011 and I was SO excited that there was FINALLY an android app. I'm hoping this is the early release test version?? Songs take years to load (IF they load) and there's no way to filter the featured songs to favorites. It's a great start guys and and an improvement on the iPhone version. A few more tweaks and I'll happily be singing on this instead of on the PC.
I love it. Been with SS since they were beta back in 2005. But I cant use all the features of chat because I'm on a moble. But the recorder and everything else works great. Trying to find a browser that will support support flash player for it. There is one...its called puffin browser. But it doesnt work for my phone .story of my life. But they still have a few bugs to work out on this ss app.
I love the app and even got a membership, but it's no good when most of the songs wont work. They say "handshake failed" which means the server is bad. There could be 5 different options and all of them will fail. Even songs that worked before wont work anymore.
I personally love it! It's free and it's easy to work out and what's more, the sound quality is fantastic. The best part is, you can now sing absolutely anywhere....so long as you've got your Andriod of course! Good work Singsnap 👍 2021 - Ignore the hate, the site is better than ever - but you cannot expect Singsnap to do absolutely everything for you!! Everything requires patience and perseverance at the beginning, slow laptops and slow Internet connections cannot be blamed on the site 5*
I would really like to give this five stars, but I can't. It's definitely not the website. I haven't figured out how to get to all of my songs, it seems to have made its own selection from the years I have been on Singsnap. On the one hand, some songs are better than none, but more would be better. Navigation is tricky, but a person with a reasonable amount of intelligence can figure it out. But it is not like the website. It's still a good means to record with a mobile device.
Just arrived back after years of not using and I am really shocked how much it has changed. I cannot share songs even though they are in public to social media etc. The song layout has changed I don't like it. Why am I paying a subscription if it's in beta
They will only let you keep 5 of your songs unless you pay$150 a year. I recently had cardiac arrest and was on ventilator long enough to damage vocal cords. Can no longer sing a note but can also not afford that much money on social security. I can no longer USE their app to sing. Just wanted to keep my songs but they say its against law to try and copy my songs to computer and I have to choose 5 songs to remember my life by. So sad. Mayb we try to find an app that let's you save your recordin
SingSnap just isnt what it used to be. There are too many issues with the site and now that there is FINALLY an app available to Android users, there are issues there as well smh. I want my $12 refunded because I will not be using the app until all issues are resolved. I have contacted Support more than once about refunding me. Someone address this and give me my money back!
Harder to navigate, and sharing with my friends and family has now come to a complete stop. Hoping that things get better soon. Also bought four years of Gold membership and can't figure out how to use it for myself, or share it with others. I have loved this site for a while now (2011) and trying to stick out the growing pains.
This karaoke site used to be great..now it's horrible! I was a member for years until they screwed everything up!
Great sound quality provided you take singsnaps advice and use your headphones on your android to eliminate background static. Same great free songs they offer on the website. Finally we can all enjoy singsnap on amdroid yay. :)
They charge the earth for membership, rely on members to expand the library, delete songs and lowered the amount of free songs that you can keep. Nothing but a rip off and won't pay royalties to artists they make money off.
it would be a lot better if I had my gold membership which I plan to get eventually again but right now I can't swing it affordably and be able to you know enjoy the app the way I want to but as a long time member of SingSnap I am so glad that they actually have this for Androids and whatnot so you know I'm very glad that I don't have to go on the website and I can actually sing from my phone
This app for my fave karaoke place on the web is easy to use...easy to sing...and I have all my favorite songs at my fingertips anywhere I go!! I love it
There is a terrible delay between my voice and the music. It will not sync the timing for some reason. I am so disappointed
Stupid. No sample or anything before I can pick the song I want? Every selection says that you need a gold membership but the app is "free"???? Ya, not so much.
I haven't played with this app enough to trick it out, but I'm pretty sure it can do what I said it does, in the additional questions. It is good to have an app to take with you when you feel like singing. It won't let you get far without an account, though. Open your account, click on sing, choose a song and click on practice or record. . What could be easier?
