Siralim (Roguelike / RPG)

Siralim is a deep monster catching RPG with light roguelike elements that allows you to summon and customize hundreds of creatures to fight in strategic battle. Fight your way through randomly generated dungeons and complete randomized quests. Find rare treasure and use it to upgrade your castle, empower your creatures, craft powerful artifacts, learn new spells, and much more in this limitless dungeon crawling game.
Features:
- Randomly generated dungeons and quests
- no two dungeons are alike!
- Capture and summon over 300 unique creatures to fight for you. Each creature has its own unique abilities which directly affect the way you play the game.
- Cast over 100 powerful spells to turn the tide of battle.
- Fight in challenging battles that reward thoughtful strategy rather than mindless button mashing.
- Upgrade your castle to add new rooms, to unlock new creatures, and to entice new citizens to live in your kingdom.
- Craft and enchant equipment to augment your creatures' power or to grant them new abilities. There are over 500 different crafting materials to collect and use.
- Craft powerful eggs which will someday hatch into extremely powerful creatures.
- Fight in your kingdom's battle arena for fame, fortune, and glory.
- Infinite playability. There is no level cap, no restrictions, and the game never ends. Want to play until your character is level 937? Go for it.
- A roguelike overworld where you can see your enemies approaching before battle begins.
- Ever-expanding: we frequently release major content patches that give you access to new creatures, items, and other things to do.
- Free to play until your character reaches level 15. After that, the game costs $4.99 USD to play forever. There are no cash shops, microtransactions, or anything like that all.

Siralim is different from other monster catching RPGs in that the focus is on gameplay rather than story. The game is much more difficult and offers more room for customization thanks to its subtle roguelike elements. If you're looking for a mature dungeon crawler with unmatched depth that improves upon the best elements of games like Dragon Warrior Monsters and Pokemon, Siralim is for you.

It's a sort of fusion of roguelike gameplay with Pokémon gameplay. Be warned that progress is capped very early unless you pay. Presentation is slick even though it's far from being beautiful. Dungeons are kinda boring and samey and the randomised layout has little effect on gameplay.

Originally released in 2014 the devs kept providing free updates 3 years later. The 2 games that have been released sense are both decent steps forward in both quality of life and flexibility with strategy. If you enjoyed this game you will enjoy the other 2 as well.

What an awesome game. It's a monster collecting game not unsimilar to Pokemon, but with real monsters. Collect Liches, and goblins and demons and fight with them through a surprisingly good story. The game is very good and look forward to playing the others.

Great fun wish there was more like it

Great game that is easy to get into unless you dislike the retro style. Moreover it doesn't need internet constantly like many other games on mobile while the Siralim community also has a great fan-base that are happy to help. After changing phone it wants me to buy the game again, a bit annoying which is why my review had dropped a star.

The gameplay is fine and no complaints about the design but please don't call it a RPG there is little to no story and the first 30 levels feel like a giant tutorial I was hoping for a nice immersive story and I got a overly long dungeon crawl I wouldn't have spent my money if I had known.

Very fun game reminds me of a game that I loved playing as a kid and still do so this is great for passing time...only thing that gets me is that even when I go into a level 1 realm that the enemy's are a lot atronger then they used to be but there may be a reason for that but I havent figured it out yet lol

Admittedly didn't play but game seemed cool but went into the menu once I finished setting up preferences and found out the game is content locked unless you pay. Thanks for the warning game... should label it as a demo or something

Its a fun game. Slightly unbalanced but fun none the less. Definitrly worth the buy

Great game. Music and art reminds me of mystic quest for the SNES. Thankfully the gameplay is a bit more engaging. If i could ask for one thing it would be active abilities on monsters or artifacts.

Zack's awesome. Siralim is still fantastic. I would buy the sequel if I wasn't so broke but, coming back to siralim after about a year I still find it fantastic. Its a subtlety brilliant, thoroughly enjoyable little gem of a game. Will forever be in my top 5.

Fun, but I don't like the fact that it caps out at lvl 15 unless you buy it because that's like 20 mins of gameplay give or take. Controls could be better.

Simplistic at first, but a lot of depth once you get into it.

Its great I love the small details that make one map different than another.

Jon. C. Oct 17, 2017

The only way it could be better is with slightly less transparent controls.

I turned it on and wanted to play for a few minutes...hours passed.

Though I have lost my cloud data due to not playing for a long time I will use my knowledge to reach that level again

Love it

It's a fun game. Wish the controls were better on a touchscreen but it isn't a huge thing. This game kept me sane on an 18 hour flight to Dubai, so kudos. :3

Diablo, Pokemon and Final Fantasy in a blender. Somehow it ended up beautiful and infinitely replayable

And the dev(s) are rockin' too

Honestly, i rarely review games, especially since most just beg for free 5 star reviews for items, but this is a GEM. This is one of the most underrated and most thoughtful android games that I've ever played. This was lovingly crafted for fans of roguelike and rpg genre's with a very imaginative take on a usually stale formula. Kudos to the developers, i look forward to playing any other games they make.
