Doesn't work anymore after the last mandatory update. Now it gives us errors about the radio ID not being linked to any account. The whole point is so we can quickly activate the radios for folks buying cars before they drive them off. Called dealer support and they are of no use without getting customer billing info. Useless.
Just gives a message to call because the vehicle isn't in their system....really, my customer will be here this afternoon and it won't refresh without calling them....going to tell my customer not to bother with sxm and let them know this service isn't worth the Hassle. Great job ya dummies, you lost a potential customer and a dealership partner over a glitch in an app. Good luck
Worthless since the forced upgrade. Doesn't work at all and customer service is useless unless they see a paid account which defeats the purpose of a trial account.
XM Radio a complete waste of time and energy. Not only does your app hardly work to turn on customers radios. You refuse to give them the trial when they call and refuse to talk to the dealer when I call. Another great way for GM to pick off customers and waste salespersons time for a completely useless service.
Used to work flawless everytime on every customers vehicle now just wants to update the app and requires a call. Takes up too much time and not worth the effort.
Garbage app. Have to call every time. Get radio ID not associated with an account when trying to start a used car trial. Completely useless.
Simple and effective! Just make sure the vehicle data is in your lot software and bingo usually takes less than a few seconds.
Horrible ability to actually play music on my phone with this app. Tons of filters needed to get to the preferred stations. After going through the mountain of questions and filters, there's no link/access to play the stations.
I work at a Chevy dealership and being able to use this app for my customers is amazing. They are always so thankful when i tell then they have 3 months of service for free and most of them end up subscribing as well.
Recent update broke the ability to provide demo activation on vehicles in inventory. Thus far unable to verify if the automated DMS activation occurs once the vehicle is marked sold. Good luck to Sirius in trying to sell its service this way. Fail.
App is very simple and works every time. We have no issues whatsoever activating the trial on our used cars. Happy customers.
Does not work. The app says the signal will be sent but the car never receives it. When we call customer service the reps will not talk to salespeople, and if the customer calls they are bullied into a paid subscription instead of having just their trial set up.
Fixed whatever gliched they had, and the app is perfect again. This helps refresh SXM radio signals, just in case your subscription glitches and/or for a large dealership.
Update: Got error every time, after embarrassing myself in front of two customers I gave up for a few months. Just tried reverting to v2.1, that worked.
Our Customers at Bob Hart Chevrolet in Vinita, Ok. are always pleased to see our Dealership helps them and goes over what all is available with Sirius XM Radio. What fun this!! Great Product, Great Service!!
Works outstanding as long as you have the rights to the service or have paid for the service. 100%, every time.
Stopped working after the October update. Used it on as many cars I could until that point. I was given an email address by an SXM employee still no help
Nobody seems to resolve my problem. I cancel service a while back ago but still showing active. Im trying to activate a new car but they cant find my radio ID
Terrible. The least robust app I have EVER used, and that's saying a lot. The only consistent thing about this app is that it's unreliable.
Never works, out of 30 vehicles scanned it worked on 2...... Do not waste your time or energy.
App won't let me do anything. I don't even the option to sign in. Extremely poor design. Hire a usability professional.

Last update will not allow dealer demos, ERROR ERROR ERROR. Had to call and spend 10 minutes on the phone for 1 unit in inventory.
It stop working completely.... I'm a used care manager and used it only a few times but now it just doesn't work
My customers at my dealership love this when they purchase a preowned vehicle that's xm capable and I can give them their 3 free months before they sign up.
Total garbage, was using an older version because the latest version is broken. Well it now forces you to upgrade to new version that doesn't work. Have lost dozens of potential customers because I have to now tell them we can't activate your trial. I have not been telling them about XM after this forced update. Sirius fix this!
