SiriusXM on Android TV: Video, Music, Sports, News

After 6 months with few issues, the app stopped working on Google TV. Upon reinstall, I am unable to log into the app, with it stating my username and password are not recognized. I can successfully log into both web version and the Pixel 6 Android ap so I thought maybe I had the wrong app (SiriusXM Canada says not available for Chromecast) but Google Play Store says last used May 8 so I know this is the one that's been working until recently.

The app doesn't recognize the remote or a keyboard and I am occasionally unable to skip stations or even log in., Contacted tech support and took two hours before I could get the app to work, only to have it crash again only 20 minutes later. I contacted Sirius to cancel my subscription and they wouldn't let me. Yes, you read that right. They wouldn't let me cancel my service. I am not sure what kind of legal action I can take, but I can guarantee once this is straightened out, I will never use Sirius again.

This app is pure garbage. I have a 100 mpbs connection and it constantly stops streaming. It also is incapable of resuming after exiting to main menu. You have to manually exit the app and restart. They want me to pay $16 a month for this?????

Tried everything but will not recognize my login credentials. No way to use on the Nvidia Shield. After talking with Sirius XM they now informed me that it will not work on the number 1 android device in the marketplace. Hmmmm highly unlikely but that's the support they have.

This app works great works great on the little Google mini thing to any station you want to listen or you can listen to it so awesome.

Version installed 5/21/18 does not work on Nvidia Sheild for me. It installs just fine, but after entering username and password I get an DEVICE_INACTIVE error message. Spent an hour on the phone with three different people at SiriusXM and they told me to contact Nvidia. I don't expect this to go anywhere positive. UPDATE - After dealing with three different people at NVidia, the last one ended up asking me if the app was listed as supported on their web site. It isn't, so they don't. They won't help either. CONCLUSION - If I could give this app zero stars I would. I expect a service that I'm paying for would at least spend $200 to make sure their Android TV app works correctly on one of the most widely used Android TV platforms.

Current version is horribly broken. I'm not sure how they got this so wrong. When it works it will work for an hour or two before it stops with random errors. Upon re-opening the app it never works you have to goto the user menu and pick exit, then when you open it again you stand a chance of it working. More often than not when you try to login you get random fits of it not wanting to authenticate and once I had it tell me that I was logged in on another device when I wasn't. Installed from play on three different nvidia shields and all show the same behavior. It's more reliable to open the online player in chrome and cast it to the shield than to try to use the app.

Doesn't work on any of my Xiaomi Mi Boxes. Basically, looks like it is loading, then stops, then does it again, and again then Playback Error, Retry or cancel. Was so excited to have this finally and it's USELESS.

Didn't work after second launch. Tried relaunching, no luck. I can't say I expect more from Sirius given my experience in the past.

After years of waiting, there is finally an Android TV app! Hurrah! Ideally, it would keep playing in the background rather than cutting out when you go to back to the Leanback launcher, but at least I can get rid of the sideloaded SiriusXM mobile app that required a mouse to operate...!
