ABS WORKOUT TECHNIQUES

• ABS FLOOR CRUNCHESAbs floor crunches, or sit-ups, work the upper and lower abdominal muscles. This exercise begins with you lying flat on your back on the floor with legs bent at a 90-degree angle. Place your hands behind your neck for support only, do not pull on the neck during the exercise. Curl your body up, suing the abdominal muscles to pull your shoulders off the floor.

• ABS CRUNCHES WITH EXERCISE BALLBegin by rolling down the exercise ball until the small of your back is touching the ball. Your legs should be shoulder width apart. Place your head and neck on to the ball and cross your arms over your chest. You should be lying comfortably on the ball in a table top position. Use your abdominal muscles to curl your spine up in to the crunch position.

• TORSO TWISTING SIT UPSThe side abdominal muscles, can be isolated using the torso twisting sit-up. Begin in a seated position with your arms at your sides for support. Your knees should be bent. Slowly twist your torso to one side, keeping your chest facing forward. Bend and straighten your legs, pulling your knees toward the side of your body.

• BICYCLE CRUNCHESThe bicycle crunch is an abs exercise that works both the upper and lower abdominal muscles as well as the side abdominal muscles. Begin by lying on your back with your legs raised and knees bent to 90 degrees. Place your hands behind your neck or ears for support. Begin slowly moving your legs back and forth as if you are riding a bicycle. At the same time, crunch upward, lifting one shoulder blade off of the floor.

Okay, just wish it had an option of a click timer to time each rep

The app is great. It progressively gets more difficult and actually gets you to your goal. It even reminds you to do your exercises with an optional notification. My only complaint is that you have to click 'back' to escape the ad. If you click the 'X' it registers as a click. Baiting users into false clicks is BS.

It's so simple yet it is by far my favorite workout app I've ever downloaded. Highly recommend this.

This tool is simple and does what's needed. I only wish it provided a sound when the rest time is up so I could rest without staring at my phone. It'd also be nice if the reminder schedule allowed you to select "every other day", rather than just days of the week. As it currently sits, I'm going to have to either double up a workout or rest day or reprogram the reminders every week. The history chart needs some work too. It only shows 2 days on the screen and then I have to scroll to the side to see more.

It doesn't do anything really fancy which I quite frankly don't mind anyway. I have found this app to be a great remcinder and motivational tool which I have been using to get back into an exercise routine. I also downloaded another app at the same time which probably does more but this one is way more user friendly.

Is not that interactive app, but set a goal for you and suggest how many crunches you have to do. Works just fine

Ama. F. Nov 18, 2013

It just needs a whistle when the time is up and maybe a voice here and there to tell you keep going.

Cra. R. Sep 24, 2013

Simple but effective. The annoyance of the reminders means you'll not 'forget' to crunch.

Jes. L. Jul 14, 2013

This app is fantastic. It really helps me to pace! It would be even better if a notif could be made every time the cooldown period ends. Just a small vibrate or anything. I tend to do other things during the cooldown time then forget to come back. Thanks!

This app is totally worth downloading. Before I couldn't do even five sit ups now I can do just about fifty without even realizing it

Best thing about this app is you don`t have to place it on your chest in order for it to work. Nice job

Sei. B. Jul 23, 2014

I would only give it a 5 star if the app does a beep or alarm sound when the resting time is over . Other than that great app

Wen. A. D. Jan 29, 2014

I like how I can set my target and my first time ability. I also like that I get to indicate how the level was after each workout. I dint like how much of a jump it takes when I say just right. If it's just right, the jump should be minimal, not 9 or 10. I go from just right to too hard to just right to too hard each day.

Sit ups are freaking painful havent exercised in 10 yrs this app is brilliant though

Bra. C. Feb 6, 2014

Something cool to get you started. With good meal plan you can see results. Just stick to a routine.

Ash. B. Jan 13, 2014

Just started but I can say I like how it's set up. You don't have to guess how many to do... just follow directions.

Sha. D. Jun 24, 2014

Never knew taking a small break between setups would make a difference neat

Stu. M. Aug 6, 2013

Great app, keeps you going love the feedback loop question at end of each workout and the reminder for each workout .
