SiteSeeker Campsite Finder

Have used for years, started having problems at weekend when trying to use for the 1st time for several weeks, just coming up with app has stopped. Reported to developer contact, after receiving email to say problems fixed I reinstalled. App required membership login, took 2 attempts but now appears to be working OK.

It doesn't seem to remember various details so they need re-entering whether logged in or not as a member. And when it comes to booking, to check availability it freezes. Either this app js useless, or it's not intuitive and I'm doing something wrong. I'm love C&c club sites but I've never fiundvtge app easy. It ermscworse than ever now.

Useless app - surely all the negative reviews could not be true? Unfortunately they are, you can view site details but you cannot book with it! So what is the point of it, I had to book through the website. Unfortunately it doesn't surprise me, the paper based publications produced by CCC are chaotic too. Do not download this app, it's a waste of your time.

Very disappointing. You can use the app to browse but when you want to book it just opens the club website where you have to log in all over again. Might as well just use the website.

Absolute waste of time, it worked for a week, now it crashes every time I try to log on. Don't bother.

Keeps closing down! Havnt used for a few weeks tried to log on today kept closing. Unin reinstall still not working? What's happened?

Unfortunately I'm not able to book through the app. The 'book' button is unresponsive.

We are new members and haven't used this app yet. That being said, seems more intuitive than the website. My one major criticism is the lack of an itinerary! We have booked a number of camp sites but have no where to see the itinerary! (Other than trawling through emails). Please could this be added as a priority for your next release of this app ☺️

Since the update, every time I use the app I get a message that there was a problem checking my details and to check my connection. This happens whether I am at home on WiFi or outside on 4g. When I press OK it then proceeds to download the list of sites. Every single time! Also, the booking process is just as clumsy and unhelpful as ever. It would be really useful to see which dates are available at a site rather than simply getting the "unavailable" message when trying to book

The more I try this the more I hate it. What I really want is the ability to see what nights are available to book at a site. Currently you have to try various dates and durations to try to find availability. Each time you search you have to re-enter all the details. Very time consuming and annoying. The CAMC app shows availability and is much more user friendly.

Had the same issues with both siteseeker and the app for the magazine, will not let me log in on any of the apps but the main sure isn't a problem ? We decided to join and have the magazine sent digitally, so we can find sites and read the magazine on the go. We have to the use the main site which is good. If your going to do an app make sure it all integrates and works as good as the main sure otherwise it's pointless.

Considering that this is an App for Android it performs poorly. Booking dates keep changing as I try to book, it's quite clunky, twice this morning I've had the 'Oops, something went wrong message'. I'll retry using my Windows PC - but unless this is just a temporary problem I fear this App is going to be unsuitable for when I'm out and about, using my Android phone / Android tablet.

Whether you are on the app or the website the experience is horrible. Their IT department must be a bunch of useless idiots.

Have downloaded twice app will not allow me to log in. What's the point of me being a member if I can't log in

Come on CCC get the app sorted. You can no longer make bookings on the app, they also do not pick up the phone. Are they still operating? Also tried their website which is just as bad. Error message everytime ' sorry something gone wrong ' message. Tried it on 3 browsers with VPN on and off, still the same. App is the same. All bookings now done on Caravan and Motorhome Club. All booked in 5 mins. No issue. CCC have major problems. POOR POOR POOR.

App does not work. Cancelled membership now. So out dated.

This App seems to be very difficult to use, so frustrated trying to book sites several times recently, so in the end I booked through the Website. Someone needs to get a grip of this and sort it out or lose members. Obviously not the only frustrated member.

I am stuck in a loop with this app, never had an issue before

This must be the most frustrating app ever. Slow to load, will not store details, and on several occasions ive tried to book a site and it comes up as "sorry not available" but when I have phoned the site there are plenty of pitches. This happened last week at The Star Alton, and this week at Braithwaite fold. According to the web site, at the Star there were only grass pitches without electric, so I booked, when I got there, there were lots of hardstanding with electric pitches. Ridiculous.

Keeps crashing can't do anything with it

This must be the worst app ever! It's so user unfriendly! It's just a clutter. I'll be phoning to book in future. The app and the website no longer show which days aren't available during your choice. I.E..if your first or last day isnt available it shows all your dates unavailable The website used to show the which days in your selection that you couldnt get giving you the option to book a shorter stay or move your dates to suit. At present it's a total guessing game to find available dates😡

I had an issue where the app would not start, saying my device was rooted, when it was not. I contacted the developers who were extremely helpful and they resolved the issue very quickly. Everything works great now, thank you for your very prompt attention.

Looks ok but it REALLY needs to be able to put your dates and criteria in first, then show what's available. As it is now you have to click each campsite then put in all your criteria again to see if it's available. As someone else said at this point it's easier to just phone

Agree with other users. App awkward to use, not easy to book, have to keep entering details of your unit. Keeps telling me there are issues with my membership that cannot be verified and cannot book a two night stay over the weekend at most sights so we feel discriminated against. The friendly club, I don't think so. I emailed them weeks ago about this but not had a response so will think twice about renewing our membership as currently not using sites.

Needs to update every single time you open it. This requires mobile signal. When you're stuck at the roadside searching for a site this is completely impossible and the app will not function. Maybe require updating once every 24 hours but every single time the app is opened? No way

App is.....ok. It lacks, among other things (see other reviews, here), something that the 'other' Club's App has....an option to save a site as a Favourite. I have a vague memory that this used to be present? Regardless, if you're interested, CCC, in this Club Member's viewpoint, please consider adding a Favourites option. However, from the clear lack of response from the Club to the other reviews posted here, perhaps this Club is not as 'friendly' as they would have us believe. Thanks

Very poor. Slow to load, imposdible to use for bookings, database won't update ( I'm on about 45 mbps broadband). Hopeless. Tried what they suggested. No use. Database never updates, search function not effective. This is a useless app which makes finding sites almost impossible
