I created this app during an ankle injury recovery. It's hard to keep training when you're hurt, but it's really important not to stop to recover faster.
If for any reason you cannot stand, it does not mean you have to give up your healthy amount of daily physical activity.

Sitting Cardio features exercises for the upper body that will tone your arms, shoulders, pectorals and back, but at the same time will make you sweat and burn calories.

Exercising the upper body is also known to help eliminating excess liquids from the lower body, so don’t worry if you can’t use your legs muscles for a while, these workouts will keep you fit until you can walk and exercise your full body again.

You can do these exercises while sitting on the bed or on a comfortable chair without armrests.

You will burn calories, tone your arms and increase blood circulation, also improving drainage in the lower body.

These workouts can be handy even if you don’t have problems but you feel more tired than usual and prefer to train sitting down.

I tried to make the exercises fun but effective. If at the beginning you find them too intense, do what you can and continue to move with the music until you are ready to start again.

The app features short or long workouts for different levels of fitness.

Before starting any physical activity consult your doctor. Show the type of training you are going to do and ask him if it is suitable for you and your state of health.

An alternative name might be "Arm Workout", as this is certainly giving them a good workout! Feel exhausted by the end - abdominals are given a fairly good go as well. I have arthritis in both knees, lower back and right foot, so it's very convenient! Update, 8th Jan 2022: Cartoons don't show exercises in 3D, so often difficult working out all movements. More detailed descriptions required eg, speedbag/speedball, snow angel, etc

I just downloaded this app, and I have to agree with a lot of the other reviews on many issues. First of all, I have MS, and I was looking for an app that will work my abs while sitting down. This app does not do this at all. It mainly works the arms. Then it does not have a voice magnetism at all only the music. You have to watch the screen to know what is next and how to do it. At hee end, the app stopped working. I am definitely uninstalling. Looking for another app for the abs.

Getting me thru a broken foot crisis with my sanity intact! The music is fun and each movement has it's own inspirational beat. After learning the exercises I keep the voice instructions off (personally I find the synthesized voice distracting) and go for the visuals and music. I've been a daily rower so imagine my surprise when my fit bit says my heart rate is meeting my target zone just using my upper body! 👍

There has been so much sickness in the world these last 2 years, as we over come the illness we are weak and need to get moving. This app is so wonderful for that beginning. Its simple, fun, and is working at my ability. AND so far they aren't asking for monthly $$$$. I have been recommending this app to all I see the need. I see sadness when the apple users can't find this app. So needed for them also. Definitely an app to use to start getting your strength back. Wellness and joy to all.

Yep, it's a good starter option. Graphic are too small makes them hard to follow No pauses between each exercise.

Simple, effective, and easy to get started! Love this little app. Great for someone who cannot stand to workout or simply wants to get in a little workout in at home. Love their other app too for sitting leg exercises.

I love this app! I lost my entire left leg and have gone from an independent, active person to someone who has to rely on another for 80% of daily activities. I like the idea of being able to sit and workout but still had to give this app only 2 stars. Two reasons, #1 it doesn't tell you how many calories you're burning and #2 the workouts for first day intermediate was way too focused on arm exercises on top of that no break in between,which could have been a lower body workout to rest arms

I love this. I first want to thank you for thinking about the ppl who fine it very difficult to stand for long periods of time. I had felt so useless at one time, but just using this one day, well lets just say a tear came down my face. I can move again. i found something that I can do it made me want to exercise, why? because i can do it. I can exercise for ten minutes y'all. I can't wait to build it up to an hour. I'm extremely obese and wanting to start exercising. I was able to do most of the exercises. My shoulders hurt, so if I couldn't do particular exercises I just kept moving. Thanks for this workout. Hope to eventually move up after I begin to get use to exercising.

Love this! I am recovering from double knee surgery and needed to find a way of exercising without causing pain or damage to my knees. My hear rate was raised and it's really fun to do ! Obviously the more effort you put in, the more you're going to get out of it

Very good for people in wheelchairs of all ages! There are a very few gyms that are accessible for wheelchairs so this is a great alternative.
