This has the potential to be a great app but.... It is sooo slow... I want to get directions to a particular ride or attraction and the map just doesn't load. I can see the start and end points but if I am zoomed in at all, the map just won't load. It just shows a blank screen. If I zoom out to the full map it loads but the details are so tiny it's of no use. I have a brand new Android phone running Android 11 and I've tried on both my days and the in park Wi-Fi, same results.
Still having many issues with the app. It's charging for Flash Pass when we have the membership FP. Lagging, ride times are off, ride updates takes time, cannot check in for a lot of rides, unable to access and download photos directly or takes very long time to show (it shows a black screen first, then, after a while, it shows the pic) even though is a season photo pass. App is even worse at HH. Really frustrating.
The app can be great if it worked, park maps are out of date still displaying images of defunct attractions and not even displaying new attractions, The app is slow to load or update, can never chexk in to rides to earn check in points as a member and more. Overall the app is inaccurate, outdated and unreliable for anything other than checking the parks schedule.
App stinks! The only good thing about it is that I don't have to keep up with my pass. The loyalty program is ridiculous. You can be standing on a ride and it won't let you check in, says not close enough. I am the primary card whatever and every time I open it and the loyalty thing, bc I keep trying, goes to my daughter, and then each time it says sign up, even tho we are signed up. If there weren't so many glitches like that might be ok, like it wants to be nice.
This app is trash. Won't even let me see my member rewards or points I've earned smh. Every time I click on My Six Flags, it shows my rewards/perks for half a second before going to a blank screen and asking for add pass. I try to click on my name at the top, hoping it'll finally load my perks... NOPE!! And when I try to look at my points to see what I can buy, you guessed it.. NOPE!!
Fix the app. It'd be great to self manage my membership without having to call for someone to tell me they can't help because they don't have anything to do with it and that if I want to do anything to upgrade like the dining pass I have to cancel my current membership and start a new one. Everything needs to be updated, it's been like this for years!
The app wait times have nothing to do with reality. Navigation in the park using the app isn't a walk in the park ;) either. A lot needs to be done for this app to be efficient during a oark visit.
Cannot add season passes, cannot use dining pass for mobile ordering. App is broken and Six Flags refuses to acknowledge or address. After bouncing me around between departments for a while, their solution is that I just don't use mobile ordering and wait in the lines instead.
The App is a MILLION % better for the 2022 season! I've been purchasing memberships for my family of 4 for yrs & we've been Diamond Elite Members since program inception with Season Flash Pass & Meal Plan add-ons. I DREADED getting everything set up each year because we had to go between the website & the app, then still had to stop in Membership Services our 1st visit and the FP office every visit. UGH! Now our Legacy Memberships transferred smoothly & nearly everything is done via the app.
it has many very useful features, but in general the experience is entirely horrific. its a must have for the park though for example there used to be dark mode and these satanic draconians removed it. unbelievably evil
Works very good at the parks. Sometimes it has a hard time finding exactly where you are in the park. Seems like the gps may be a bit off. But a great app nevertheless.
Overall good layout and functionality, but certain features are occasionally buggy, and some features don't work at all for certain parks.
We have a waterpark near us and since six flags took it over it has made a steady decline whether it be parts of the park not working or six flags steadily increasing the price while restricting the limitations with the pass. I was looking into season passes for my family and I this season and due to these circumstances I will not be purchasing or attending any six flags event parks.
Worst app ever. You must use this app to access everything in the amusement park and the app does not work, therefore you have no actual access to anything!! Six flags has made the amusement park experience aweful!!!awful!!!! We will never visit six flags again
I can't take advantage of the points system because I cannot check in on rides. This is my 3rd time to the park, I've enrolled in the rewards program and it still doesn't work.
They lie! They claim to give discounts for friends who have season passes or membership, but there is no way to actually get the discount.
Map is very slow to load and the check-ins are completely unreliable because they are so tight and the map doesn't match properly.
I'm so mad I'm using the six flags app. Trying to redeem my 25% discount ticket on a friend and it won't let me . Says click the link on the bottom and there's no link. I'm so upset. I unistalled my app and installed it again nothing .
App times for apps is really inaccurate and the "directions" or GPS is cool but also not great either. Its good to know for what rides are closed though
Downloaded it because we got the dining pass. Cannot use it to mobile order. If you call the help desk they acknowledge there's a problem but do nothing to fix it.
Don't use the app to buy tickets. Trying to check out with Google Pay gives the error "Unexpected developer error, please try again later." Use the website instead. :(
Good idea, poor execution. I agree with the other reviewers when I say why have an app for an amusement park that doesn't show wait times? That is typically the reason why you would download a whole app vs. only a digital map. Come up with a way to see wait times (estimated of course) and I'll come back. Until then, this app is of no use to park goers.
Great app for ordering food and locating places in the park....getting hours and daily happenings at the park! Thank you.
Was able to order food without any problems. Ride wait times are horribly inaccurate.
It dies its job, but very slow and still not accurate with ride check in. Should make it more user friendly
Can't put in my daughter's pass... After many resets and stuff Edit 2w later TBH, i didn't expect much, just followed up in good faith as I raised the issue but didn't expect resolution. Y'all have delivered quickly so mad props to you sir and 6Flags
Useless Standing in line for rides and tells me I'm too far away to check in for loyalty points. Ride times/closings are not accurate
Great app! Logged in and my passes were immediately available. Mobile ordering is a great feature if you don't want to be stuck in lines for food. Picking a ride and pulling up directions on the map was my fav feature. The wait times on rides weren't super accurate but better than nothing. Overall, a great app that enhances the theme park experience.
