The drone and the controller randomly unpair and the drone falls out of the sky. I've already had to replace one set of propellors. And the camera only works some of the time. It seems to avoid certain areas ie when I leave it to hover in certain areas it moves away from them automatically. Can ve unpredictable and dangerous. Otherwise it's nice to fly when it works.
I like the simplicity of the app. Intuitive and straight forward. But many feature are malfunctioning. RC battery not detected, hand gesture dont work. I never succeeded. Follow me mode not good. GPS indicator lacking data, wifi disconnect sometimes at 100mtrs., Where is the orbit mode icon in the app? Battery shall be presented in percentage, not bars for a more accurate estimate. Please read all our feedbacks and do something about it. F11 is a great flyier. Auto landing is very accurate.
I am a first time drone user. The app worked great the first three hours of use but when I went to take it out of the beginner mode it wouldn't let me. I emailed the developer about the issue and haven't heard back in a week. It will take it out of beginner mode on another app but i lose some other functions. The app continues to do everything it should but all within 30m.
Not to bad when it decides to work. I connect WiFi and fly for a bit when i stop and try to reconnect most the time it will not connect. It's not the phone or it would never connect. It would also be nice to be able to use all the features the drone comes equipped with. It does no good to contact developer you will never get a response or feed back.. **So if your the developer reading this please!!! Start fixing the bugs and issues this is a great flyer don't screw it up with a bad app**
It doesn't create an icon in my app list or on my home screen. Having to launch it through the play store every time is annoying. It also won't install on my ZTE device. It otherwise works as advertised. Epic fail for a companion app to accompany a drone that costs $599.00 which won't fly without a special controller and requires this to fly with FPV.
Having some issues with control battery readings. I've put my control on charge and is green. Quad and remote are synced and still saying the same. Also, I downloaded this app just recently and it gave me the 1.5.0 version and it clearly says it has been updated on June 11th to the 1.8.4 version. I can't make any sense of that. Please fix these issues so that we all can continue a proper flight asap. Until then, 1 star rating.
That Last 10% - Follow me using gps works but it's too jumpy to capture any decent footage. I've strapped a 4k action cam on it. I was hoping for better follow me. Outside of that...this is a great app. I'm giving 4 stars because us Android Users would like to be able to use the Waypoints feature. I've seen nothing but complaints online about this feature not working...same goes for me. I still got the drone though!!! It's a great little machine!
On the 3rd flight, the app indicating that the remote control is on low battery while I did a full charge a day before. App crashed itself and I reopen the app, the battery level got back to normal. Another issue is that, the flight details such as flight altitude, distance and speed is not captured on flight record screen. Please rectify ASAP.
it'is a good app but there is some bugs : - You,can't pilot the f11 drone from app, then make follow me without remote is impossible (for example make it when I go on bike and put only my phone in my pocket) -The gesture mode doesn't work in any way. - You,can't see the number of satellites and the battery level in percentage. - the audio button whit the mic not do nothing. I apologize to SJRC and I hope they adjust this bugs as soon as possible because the copter is very well and I promise will change my review for the better if they will do something
I got the 2.4 version and this app is HORRIBLE. I have to wait for ever to get a sattilite lock. The manual is horrible as well. The directions stink and I had to figure out how to fly it. At first I thought it was broken but after many many attempts I did get it to fly. The maps will,appear ONLY if you get a good GPS signal. I wrote the developer and his directions were even worse then the manual. So this drone sits on my shelf NOT USED. Folks if you want a good cheap drone go with Holy Stone.
App has such potential, connects very easy to my Galaxy S7....however a few features are glitchy. The remote battery shows empty 90% of the time. Occasionally during flight it will fill, but not always. The GPS calibration doesn't always want to fire up on the first try.
The app works alright. I wish the drone had a longer video feed range, but it seems to be only about 400 meters - even with direct line of sight. When the app disconnects from the drone's signal, you have to quit the app and reopen it again which is a huge pain.
Testing on the latest app has problems with the app screen display when we want to take photos or video and voice, the problem is not enabled on the app screen display, please fix it ........ For z5 distances within the app only 600 meters, please change the distance comparable to other brands that can exceed 800 meters please change the distance ....The latest app is not very satisfactory
Great beginner drone F11 Pro, the app is fairly basic but works well except for gestures, you need 5ghz WiFi to connect app to drone , I had to buy a new phone with WiFi (802.11 ac) support as my old phone didn't support it so if you have issues syncing drone with phone check what WiFi you have, other than that this is an excellent drone for the price, very easy to fly and has some cool GPS features. 😀🛸
Everything seems to work very well. My only complaint is that the app only allows the altitude to be maxed at 120meters... reason for 3 stars. I should be allowed to go as high as I want or until the transmitter looses signal
Got it charge up today and took it for one flight. So far the app is working, well explained and easy to understand. I'm not sure about the "Learn to Fly" button it does nothing it may be a setting or something I'm doing wrong. other then that I'm very happy.
Very good so far but be aware that this version (1.9.8) requires android 4.4.4 or above. I bought a cheap phone to use as a dedicated controller but the app didn't open. Although the phone was supposed to android 9.1 it was in fact android 4.4.2. However an earlier version of SJGPS Pro available on the developer's website (I think 1.8.9) does load and work although the video is a bit slow and stuttering. I have flown my Z5 with this phone but prefer to use my 'everyday' phone.
I have only had it a few days but so far working fairly well. Had week satellite signal a few times don't know if that's the app or the drone but not a big issue. I do wish it had a way to change the metric system into Imperial system. I am new to drones and so for me it works great.
Video does not work with the F11-GPS model. Had to use the HS GPS V1 app set to DE22. That combination functions perfectly. 100% satisfied with the quality and functionality of the drone, it consistantly performs flawlessly.
My new android has 2160x1080 and I need to get the sj gps pro for F11 pro to scale down The new phone has a 18x9 ratio and I need 16x9 the phone has the option to use app scaling but this app does not show up. It doesn't allow me to see the icons for shooting video/or photos when I am using my VR goggles. Any help?
Camera and video does not work half the time had get off app and back on. Missed a lot of good pictures and videos because of app downloaded a different one no issue.
It is a well built drone but after having the drone for 1 month. I started having issue with the fpv wifi connection. It went from a great reception to poor then not having to connect. Then, all of sudden my left front motor went out. The other 3 motors are still functioning. I really like this drone when it was functioning. It flies and handles well up in the air. It is a smooth flier. Can someone help with my drone issue. Is there a company or manufacture number for the sjrc?
The app worked twice about two years ago when I bought the drone. It will connect via wifi but does absolutely nothing else despite uninstalling / reinstalling. The Ruko F11 Pro drone, which cost $400 when I bought it, quit taking off after about an hour of fly time. I do not recommend the Ruko drone or this app.
Great app but my only worry is, could you please isolate the "distance and altitude" from the main screen so even if maximum FPV mode reaches and video freezes but i still want to test the drone's maximum distance i can still go further to see the distance reading on isolated view...Again, please allow for more altitude than the 120m. The wifi consistently does not connect with my Droid. The controller more often than not, does not turn off and takes many attempts to do so. The instructions are poor in that they are not clear or succinct. Once the drone is up and flying it does well. However, don't expect it to return within a five foot radius each time. This is important in case you don't have a continuous flat area to work on and only have a five foot radius of flat area.
