SJ – Swedish Railways

Very useful application. The only problem I have encountered was buying a ticket for a trip which was delayed but I could not see that until after I bought the ticket. It would be much better if information about delays could be updated continuously and be available before purchasing a ticket

Not used in a long time cause of pandemic but, they've done improvements! Booking and planning my trip was easy peasy🍋 this afternoon🙂 /H.

The timetable when purchasing doesn't show already known delays and instead only updates travel time after purchasing a specific ticket. Overall decent app.

More than once now I get information about delays or my train being canceled directly after paying for it, instead of when browsing. This is important to know before booking. Show delays and canceled trains already when browsing, and the score would be much higher.

Useful and complete; just as clear and helpful as the website, so it's great when one is on the go. The only thing I can think of that could is having the possibility to pay by Swish even if the app is installed on another device (should be technically possible).

New: instead of telling in the overview (which trains depart from station X to station Y between time A and time B) whether a train is cancelled, such a train gets the same yellow mark as if it just will be late. Then, a detail check of the departure tells me the train is cancelled. Not good. Not an improvement. Please bring back the CANCELLED marking in the overview.

Easy makes sense app like the fast loads and reliability a must have if you travel accross sweden

Missing function to save your most often used trips. You can save stops, but not trips between 2 points. Every single time i want to check for trains between the 2 same destinations i have to put the 2 stations manually and the app always automatically gives me Stockholm station by default. Really annoying. Västtrafik app has saved trips. Should be here too. I will rate higher once this is fixed. Also this app doesn't seem to update train time if a train is late.

Unstable app. It is a coin flip if your tickets will show up when you open the app. The majority of the times the purchased tickets show nothing just a blank page - even with a strong Internet connection, even with a WiFi connection. Most times I have to reinstall the whole app to get anything to show up. Pretty useless.

I really like the user interface and all the functionalities present in the app. The only issue I have is that as an international student, I don't have the Swedish personal number and hence, I can't create an account. Now my problem with the app itself is that, it doesn't not have the functionality to store my preferences even without an account. So, there's no "guest" user functionality and I need to put in my preferences for every ticket purchase.

Very poor service as often what is being sold is unclear. Often they will sell bus tickets instead of train tickets and it's only obvious after they've taken your money.

Useful app, but sometimes problem localising my position (wrong station closest to me).

Works smooth, the choice of colours was better before, but ok. If I would the designer of the app, I would add a "folder" where one can find all the SJ offers and discounts. I have to search in my mail and remember until when they are still available. Just a suggestion, but good work however!

Easy to use but not easy to change credit card stored there.

Solid easy to use app. Great way to handle work travel trips and the information is regularly updated and after purchase I'm informed on my traveling.

The app works great for booking a ticket and paying for it... But only once! Then you have to reinstall it in order to book another ticket... Great job developers!

Excellent booking app, with a bit of a learning curve. Well integrated with payment options and information, butbof course dependent on SJ own info system working (I had one ghost train incident)

When going through to payment, it would be good to have a visualed summary of the details for the ticket that is being purchased.

This app is great for people with Personal numbers, but for internationals it's inconvenient to have to input my details each booking

If you buy 10 prepaid tickets, they expire after three months. Scam! Should last at least a year. App is annoying to use - you have to accept the usage agreement every time you buy a ticket, not just when it changes. Sometimes, all payment alternatives (ie Swish) aren't available, which forces you to carry your credit card with you, since they don't use Google Payments. Planning, route warnings etc work reasonably well.

Great app, especially the possibility to use Movingo tickets to open the subway gates. However, whenever I scan, a Google pay ad pops up, making the gate beep and flash red just after letting me through. It should also be possible to see in the overview of trips whether Movingo applies or not. Now you have to click individual trips to see that. You also dont have the possibility to see the cost of trips in actual SEK when you have selected to pay in points. Improvement to the toggling required.

Change the weeks to start on a Monday! Super confusing and made me book the wrong days!!!!!!! Otherwise good app.
