I have been so impressed with the standard SkEye version and how helpful it has been to me for some time now. As a novice the app has helped me to progress and guide me with my 10" Dobsonian telescope. The standard version has worked so well for me I really wanted to support the developer and purchased the Pro version. I'm certain the Pro version will continue to help me expand my experiences. OUTSTANDING!!!
This is beautiful work logically & visually. My thanks to the developers as a software engineer and amateur astronomer.
Great app. The frequent updates continually improve functionality. I use other apps for planning observing sessions but SkEye is my goto app for a quick scan of the night sky. The recent addition listing interesting objects to observe is really useful. Highly recommended.
I normally don't leave reviews for apps, but I wanted to do so for this app because it works so well. I'm a huge space/astronomy geek and, previously, was using two or three different star gazing apps. SkEye Pro is simple to use and has allowed me to eliminate those other apps. I just hope that you continue to update/support this great app.
When observing, I have my phone attached to my telescope and use this app as a Push-To aid. It's brilliant. The free version is probably enough for me but I bought the Pro version just to support the developer
Easy, fast, useful. Started using in 2013 upgraded to Pro version to support the developer.
One of the best star gazing apps for many years. I've used it since before Android kitkat. Still awesome and a surprisingly small footprint. 👍🏼
I love the app. I would love it if you could include features for daytime solar astronomy.
Love this App for quickly searching for objects In the Sky I want to see. Pro is well worth it.
I love this app. I've used it for many years now and it is still my goto app. Never had any issues with it. It's fast and simple to use.
Excellent astronomy app. One of the best in my opinion. I have utilized several of this type of app, and this one is my favorite. Highly recommended.
It'ss phenomenal. Know your place in the universe, and see you are a fulcrum upon which the magnificent teeters.
Where is the comet C/2020 F8 SWAN??? I live in Bolivia and it is visible from here, but is not on SkEye Pro
Best in class
I just want to say I really love the new layout of this app. I really like the visible objects on the bottom of the page. The Sun & Moon rise & set times & the Moon phases also. And all the other updates to the app are awesome! This is a updated review, I highly recommend buying the pro version! I've had this app for 8 years now. And the pro version for 5 years now! Great job on the new update!
Hi, I've found possibly a bug for Galaxy s8+. If you could help me solve it, it world be nice. I've already contacted you on email. Any update on feature update for Galaxy 8+ for you brightness?
Excellent app with rich info. My experience was the app was much more sensitive than, for example, Google Sky, so on my HTC 10 I have to make sure sensors are calibrated, then it is accurate enough to pick out lots of faint satellites passing overhead. Also the developer was very prompt with helpful advice. I recommend.
This app is awesome, but I need it on my big, 8.9" Kindle Fire, not just my little smartphone screen. The free version of SkEye is available on the Kindle Fire, (which I have, ) but I need comets, (which is why I need you to get SkEye Pro on there, ASAP.) ... I'm guessing you might be able to share with me many interesting business reasons why SkEye Pro is not currently available on the Kindle Fire. However, I'm only interested in it becoming available. Thank you, much. 5 out of 5, once that gets done. For now, only 3 out of 5.
Very nice. Paid for pro version years ago. Recently reinstalled this, and I'm very impressed. I plan on using the DSC feature to help find faint fuzzies. I had forgotten about that, very nice to help find objects that the finder scope can't.
Wonderfully Well Executeded Program...
This app just keep getting better with every update! Use it at public gatherings, casual observing and in my astrophotography sessions. A really reliable tool.
Any chance you could move the link to SkEye to one small area on it?
I love this app. If you love looking up at the night sky and wondering what star is which. You will love this app.
Thank you for putting so much work intp this ap and keeping it going!
Amazing app really great
Love the detail and thought that went into this app - it's by far my favorite to use when I'm out with my Dobsonian observing...no electronics on the scope so between this and my telrad I'm pretty much set! I've used the free version enough to want the extra stars and anything else is just bonus :)
Especially love the ability to use it as a go to on the telescope
This is a really well made app. The layout is nice and its packed with features. I paid for the full version to unlock the full catalogues. Unfortunately 3 of 4 of the targets that I was searching for weren't in the app (even after opening all of the brightness and size parameters fully). Edit: I was just outside using this app and a thought occurred to me. What if we could manually input a set of R.A. and Declination values to pushto? This way, if an object were missing from the catalog, we could still use the app to align to it.
