Note8 - fantastic app! Great Borderlands 3 tool to plan out your skill trees. I personally hate making others wait for me to decide this skill or that skill. This app is easy to navigate. It is organized and clean. I love that you can save them and load them up from the side menu. They're grouped by character so all I do is name them by the number of points in each tree ××-××-××. The more I use this, the more familiar I am at finding better skill combos. I may need a new naming convention soon.
Great app, needs some work like remembering which build you were using last, otherwise it does exactly what it sets out to be plus more. Almost uninstalled it because of the jarring full-screen pop-up ad at the beginning. But after reading other reviews, it's only one an hour which is quite generous.
So, update on my previous review: changed from 3/5 to 4/5. I love that I can see my level change as I add points now, and that there's an option to add points from a class mod. I already find it very useful. Some things I would still like, but really aren't necessities, is a true sandbox mode to go beyond level 50, for when/if the level cap is raised (w/the level marker showing the theoretical level), and a build-sharing option, like the BL2/TPS calculators on here have (they have a share code).
I really like this app, I sometimes use my free time on it to experiment and come up with new builds. The only bug/problem I've run into is when you take away points earlier in the skill tree and it still tells you that skills further up are useable even when they are not, but this is very minor though. The only thing I could think of to improve it would be to add borderlands 1 and 2's characters but this could just as easily be seperate apps
It's just a great pocket guide for keeping your character skills and buffs at your fingertips aside from staying in front of your Xbox 24/7. I like to use it to not only use as a guide but as well as a way to contemplate variations in skill advancement before I even sit down in front of my system so that my time is better spent actually playing instead of calculating whule I'm in game. The GUI is nice and user-friendly and I think it's a must have for someone who is wanting to tweak their charac
Excellent app, has been a real help! What I love: - Attractive and easy to use. - Full skill descriptions. - Point countdown & distribution log. - Skill bonus log (so useful to have that automatically tallied). I would like to see some additions: - A way to alter the platform to Xbox/PS - A on/off toggle to make it sandbox so you could have more than 48 points distributed. - A combined tally of the skill bonus for each kind of bonus (e.g. Status effect chance) from various skill.
This app is great! It came out before the game with the CORRECT percentages and allotments for the skills. I have not had crashing issues. I do wish it had the ability to easily share the builds as well as the ability to see combined status effects with other equipment as in extra shield percentages, extra skill points etc
Works well. Good for planning builds. No crashes and no lag. I would like to see a stat overview, displaying the combinitive total to affected skills. I.e. if you have one skill that increases fire damage and another skill that does the same, add them together and add that number; then display perks and kill skills and such. Great app though!!
App works well its quick to figure out and much easier to navigate than the actual Borderlands skill since it all appears at once instead of in two sections. My only thing is the Optional free skill choices get locked in place and cant be changed afterwards. But I'm sure this will be tweaked soon. All my best Dude!
The app is absolutely amazing. I've been grinding since launch and couldn't be happier that I got into this app early . I use it to keep multiple character builds based on class mods for quick swapping as well as planning ahead My only complaint is not able to add class mod bonuses. Either by legendary names or just manually would be nice. Also a condensed stat block that's easy to glance at for number changes. Example if I have 2 class skills adding % reload speed show the combined %
Fantastic app, which I got great use from over the past few years. Builds are easy to create, change and save. You can also take notes. I hope they do a similar app for Wonderlands!
All 4 characters skill tree's available.. Can allocate skill points and see how it looks before spending in-game. Also has the ability to save your setup for future reference. Really good app, just what I needed to help me make my decision without wasting time building a character I would probably abandon.
Cant delete saved builds Edit: just feel like more then 3 seconds so just keep holding, it will delete after a while. Ive had a problem with class mods with a borderlands 2 one where you cant add more then 5 points..... but here you can add points that dousint count on your level. Now 2 things ive never seen before is rhat you can actualy choose your active abilities and second is that the builds are sorted by both name and character so you have no problem mixing up characters.
Very helpful! I love the fact that the website has everything but you can't save builds and it takes forever to load sometimes. With this app I can plan out exactly how I want a build to be done, move points around, and even save multiple builds for certain characters!
I am able to make the builds I like and enjoy but when i recently save one and end up misspelling it then have to rename the build. But having to end up remaking the same build. And it doesn't help that the delete button being a pain to use when it's just have to hold down on a very small icon.
Great help for my borderlands playthrough and really helped me remember and help me play out my builds for my characters! I also like the lack of ads while other games and guides with be blasted with them, while this one is calm and peaceful with almost 0 ads each time I use it. Overall great app and would recommend to anyone who likes borderlands or getting into it.
Great app for saving builds, would be nice to have a tap to adjust feature instead of opening the perks then tapping to add/remove but that's just me being lazy. Would also be cool to see a perk tree with all stacked bonuses added up so you can easily see what you've got going on with different builds.
Great app! The save feature is great for multiple loadouts. However, I tried saving at one point and I guess I clicked 'new' and lost that loadout. I almost gave 5* except that I lost time(really a 4.5*)... Perhaps just a bigger button? Or make the menu much larger like the skill ui?
It is useful for planning and looking at things ahead of time. The only thing is this app gives you 48 points to spend at lvl 50 when there are actually only 47 points. So be careful and put points into the skill you don't mind taking a 1 point loss on last while in game.
I love this app so much. It's really helpful when I'm trying new builds. The only thing I i am having trouble with is switching between characters on the app. A lot of times it won't let me switch between my builds and it gets frustrating sometimes
Works like you'd expect, but the ads are a bit jarring. I'm not saying, "how dare they use ads?!", but the ads are not what I'd expect on a Borderlands app. As someone else suggested, it would be cool to be able to add the class mods. Overall, it's very cool and does what I want.
Great, simple app. Only a few things that would be nice to see changed/added: stat summary that others have mentioned, selecting skills and augments, and also fixing skill tier allocation (after allocating 5 points to unlock the next tier you can unallocate points in a lower tier and the higher tier stays unlocked)
Pretty good app came out fast too. The two things that I would like to see implemented are an over view so I could pull back and see all three panels at once. the next is percentages like this setup gives me say 30% cool down this setup gives me 25% corrosive damage ECT.
It was overall a great app, could plan all the wounderful builds and skills of Borderlands 3, the only problem was the area of the adds, once the adds start you can't save the build no more, so yeah they should fix that and maby add uncopie-righted music and sound affects from Borderlands. Great job though for an app.
This app stays very up to date. There are a few nitpicks though. The character list isn't in order, but it doesn't hurt anything. Mostly just an annoyance to anyone with OCD. I really enjoy the option to take notes on builds. It is very helpful. Though, the word size could be a bit larger. Save and load screen is easy to traverse and I'm glad the build names can be long and not delete half the wording. I love using this app, and I really wish they would make something like this for 1, 2, and TPS
