Skillit: Learn to Cook
Yet for how much we love to cook, we noticed a troubling trend – none of our friends knew how to cook for themselves. So, we set out to change that by creating Skillit. Our goal was to build a cooking app to teach people how to cook and help them discover that perfect, mouthwatering recipe.
We did this by asking a simple, yet often overlooked, question: what’s in your kitchen right now that you want to cook with? Tell us what you got – say, chicken, eggs, rice, and broccoli – and we’ll show what you can make. Once you decide what you want to cook, we’ll walk you through every part of the cooking process. Need help dicing that onion? Just tap on the step and up pops a video showing you how to cut like a pro. Not sure why your chicken always turns out a little dry? Tips to elevate your cooking are just a tap away. Want to see different spice combinations to keep things fresh in the kitchen? Oh boy, do we got options for ya. At Skillit, we hate doing dishes, so we designed our reicpes to use as few dishes as possible - in fact, many of our reicpes just use one pan, trary, or skillet.

**12/20/2017 Dev Update** - Just fixed a server issue (had to update our DB driver) that was causing the app to crash a lot lately. Sorry about that everyone! Should work as expected now.

It doesn't work. Login and sign up options all don't work, and if you skip that step, the app just displays a loading icon overlapping an error message. Why is this still up?
Sad wanted to use the app but same thing everyone else complaining about I also experience. What a waste of time since it doesn't work shame looked interesting too. Can't sign up for account no matter what says working and it's just a infinite continuous load but never works. As previous people have said in their reviews terrible.
Great idea, but the app is broken. The app immediately asked for storage access, which I denied. Unfortunately after this, the app got stuck on a loading overlay saying "simmering" and is non-functional.
The first time i opened it it didn't let me sign up or log in and when it did let me in it said simmering (loading), but didn't load anything. The next few times i opened it, it didn't open. I got notifications saying application error.
I really want to use this app but every time I open it there's a problem with the server and the app is continuously loading, its been doing this for a few days now and ive tried restarting my phone and closing and opening the app again
I couldn't even get to use or start using the app, it said simmering and stayed like that forever. Tried to uninstall and install, and tried rebooting my phone, but nothing worked.
I have trouble creating an account. Everytime I try to create one it just losds forever and never does anything. But overall it's a great app.
Horrible, would not even get into the app it just kept on loading and loading I restarted my phone and didn't work reinstalled the app didn't work so I didn't learn anything 👎👎👎
App did not work whatsoever, just loads infinitely. Wastes of storage like this are the only thing that makes me envy Apple, because their curation wouldn't allow a non functioning app through
I used this app for a long time and absolutely LOVED it. Now that it doesn't exist anymore I'm pretty sad, but I hope someday it will come back.

Abandoned app. The server doesn't respond, so obviously isn't being paid for anymore.
I don't know it just kept simmering. And I'm not the only person to complain about this, so I wonder if anyone is monitoring the app.

App is no longer supported, or updated. Developers have clearly lost interest in the app which is a great shame as it is the only app i have come across that caters for people learning to cook! Currently the app will not even open, it brings up an error message, and with no more development on the app this means the app will be permanently broken.
Seems to be nice app! There are instructions for maaany dishes! The only thing I don't like is I can't really sign up. I tried Google and signing up normally bit it just says "simmering" and nothing else happens.
Simple, essential suggestions for the beginner, with a sprinkle of lighthearted humor. Ten fingers are definitely better than nine. Thank you!

Won't let me sign up. It just loads and then stops. Everytime.
App looked really promising but it DOES NOT WORK. Sign up first of all doesnt work for google, facebook, or email... amd when you skip that page it just keeps "simmering" and you cant continue through the app... VERY DISAPPOINTED
