C'mon Google... This is the best apps to stop Skimmer criminal activity . I don't know why is Google stop this app by not allowing it to show the Skimmer activity on the map so other people can see the location of them. I think Google working alongside with criminal by not show them on the map. Wake up Google.
Paid for this a few years back. 3.5 yrs since the last update. 😒 Google should move apps that haven't been updated or have been discontinued by the developer. Guess it's time to move on. Maps longer updated. Probably no longer effective at the pump. What a shame.
I love this app! I use it all the time before filling up my car. I know it works, because the app has found a skimmer at a gas station I was frequenting. I let my husband know when I found it, and he contacted the commissioners office listed on the gas pump, and local pd, and they sent someone out to investigate, and sure enough, they contacted us later in the day to tell us that they had indeed found a skimmer! This app is awesome!
Looking forward to using this. I will be using it every time I fill up. Now one person said please turn Bluetooth off after closing app. Let's not be picky and lazy, with the click of your phone "YOU" can turn the Bluetooth off yourself. Let's not criticize an app for user laziness.
App really works great! It caught one skimmer for me, which had not been previously identified, and allows me to search for potential problem locations in areas I'm not familiar with, allowing me to avoid unsafe or potentially unsafe pumps prior to stopping.
Pretty good app. I use it all the time. I used it at a gas station a couple of weeks ago, the app said it was all clear but the manager and I opened up the pumps and found 3 skimmers. I emailed pictures to Ronnie hoping he would add the new generation of skimmers to the app.
Great app, but hasn't been updated in more than a year. That's a year's worth of new skimmers that the app won't detect. So too outdated to be reliable, and unfortunately this app depends on reliability. If the app were to be updated again, would gladly edit to 5 stars.
Tried this app and found it useful so I paid for the upgrade. Supposed to allow more features and no ads but it's all still the same. Oh well I guess they got their $1.99.
Was good for a long time. Recently stopped working, just stays on "starting discovery, please wait" tried clearing everything and reinstalling, no dice.
Very clean and simple app, shows results of bluetooth signals but it looks for known skimmers and will mark it on the map, will be using it in the mall to experiment
Sometimes it just spins in place and does nothing, even when I close and reopen it. But today it detected a skimmer! Didn't put it on the map though.
No longer works. It now only switches to a screen that says its starting discovery but it never gets past that point.
No longer working. Just spins in place saying Starting Discovery but nothing happens. So disappointing. Really liked it. Do I get a refund since I paid for it and it no longer works?
Refunded and uninstalled. If I'm paying for this app then it absolutely does not need to know my location to be used and sell that information to make more. Taking a page from Facebook's or Google's playbook perhaps? Should have kept my old skimmer scanner app that apparently isn't available anymore.
I got skimmed after using this app. It's been over a year since it's been updated and obviously new methods have come out that this app CAN'T detect. Please update this app.
This app sent a "HELP", " SOS", "I NEED HELP" message to my family. It also listed my exact location co-ordinates. This would have been great if I was really in need of assistance but I was just filling my truck up with gas. Shook up my family pretty bad. If you want to use it for that you may be satisfied.
Ever since my phone updated to Android 10, the paid version of the app doesn't work. It just sits idle.
its very dangerous that users cant opt out of location permissions. I understand the want to auto upload, but the risk of false postives of common hardware poses a doxxing risk.
You can tell the dev has put some effort into this app. This scanner will definitely help in addition to physically checking the ATM or gas pump.
Great so far and gives me piece of mind. Never knew how awful people were - so many out there. I read somewhere I can share it with other users but haven't been able to figure out how to do it.

Doesn't seem to work anymore. I used to see local hits and nationwide as well. Now, not one in the whole world. Has this been abandoned?
The app said it was a dollar on Google play and I was charged $2.05. What's up with this skimmer. Took a skim off the top I guess.

Incredible application. It has worked extremely well for me. The installation was slick, very clean, as well as the app. The functionality is simple and intuitive. I've used it several times now and was amazed at what it picked up around me including at the gas station I was at. No skimmers were detected. I lost about $400 due to a couple of skimmers. Fortunately my bank was superb in issuing an immediate credit and also going after the skimmers. I will always use this app. Very well done!!!
