The app comes pre-loaded with DECIEM (The Ordinary, NIOD, Hylamide & Fountain) products but you can add any skin treatments from any brand including Drunk Elephant, Pixi Beauty, Paula's Choice, The Inkey List and any of your favorite brands!

✓ CREATE YOUR ROUTINE
Add products to your routine. They will be automatically placed in your AM and/or PM routine as recommended.
✓ ADD CUSTOM PRODUCTS
You can add custom skincare products from other brands by selecting the option in the top-right menu in the Routine section or from the Custom tab in the Products section.
✓ USE YOUR ROUTINE FOR LAYERING ADVICE
The products are listed in the recommended layering order, along with advice for when and how to use each product.
✓ KEEP TRACK OF USAGE TO AVOID CONFLICTS
Each morning and evening, check each product off your list to keep track of which treatments you have used. This will allow the app to prevent any conflicts by showing you which products should be avoided.
✓ TRACK YOUR SKIN'S PROGRESS
Any time you notice your skin is looking particularly good or bad, you can make a note of it by pressing on the face icon next to the morning or evening routine. You can also add a comment to note down more details for your own record and add photos to track your progress.
✓ ADD PHOTOS
You can add photos of your skin to your diary tracker and also add photos of custom products.
✓ REMINDERS & TIMERS
You can set up notifications to remind you about your daily skin regimen. You can also set timers for products which require a specific wait time. Both can be found in the Settings.
*** Advanced App Customization ***
✓ RE-ORDER YOUR ROUTINE
If you don't wish to follow the recommended layering order, you can choose to re-order the products to fully customize your routine by selecting the option from the top right menu (with 3 dots) of the Routine section. You can also change the order of the layer steps, for instance DECIEM recommends oils before moisturizers but some users prefer the other way around.
✓ USE CONFLICTING PRODUCTS
When we recommend not using a product due to conflicts with other products or because you've reached the usage limit, you can choose to ignore the warning and use it anyway. You will then have the option to permanently ignore conflicts on that specific product.
✓ SCHEDULE PRODUCTS
You can choose specific days of the week for a product if you wish. For instance, you may wish to make it so that the "AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution" only appears in your routine on Tuesdays and Fridays.
You can also choose dates of the month, e.g. the 1st and 15th of every month.
Another useful option is to schedule products for every X days, so you could choose every 2 days to alternate.

I really really like this app so far, definitely what I was looking for! Included product database is nice and adding your own custom products is as stated in other reviews. Once you get the hang of it I found it surprisingly efficient. I like the ability to customize and create custom layer steps and to order them how I want. Very very helpful. If you read the guide and instructions it definitely explains things!
If you consider how much you spend on the skincare products you don't use- this app is a steal. Helps to build habit. No ads once purchased, no additional purchases. Keeps me informed of my skincare products. Minimal, nice to look at, instinctual to use.
Thank you for the reply, it does help and I will try to use it again but I wish I had the option of adding my product ingredients so I could get the full benefits of the app. Is there any way to do that if my products aren't already listed?
Great idea, but the app itself is a little flawed. It's slightly sluggish and the UI itself could use improvement. For example, I don't think the guide page needs to be a tab on the bottom. I would rather have the diary overview as that tab. The guide page could be part of the collapsible menu because we may only look to it every here and there for reference. The overall ease of navagation could use improvement, but I'm rooting for this app!
Great Idea, Needs Work. Its definitely not worth the 3 dollars, as you can easily look up what order to put your products on. My biggest issue with the app is how it only has like 4 companies on their itself. I definitely think the app could be great. If they took the time to add more companies. You can still easily add your own products, but there are definitely better free options out there. If they added a skin care helper and way more products, then this app would be great.
I really love this app. Before getting it, I have downloaded also other apps, but they weren't what I have looking for. Having TO products by default is a plus. Adding products is easy. I would suggest that we have the possibility of selecting other products, but from what I have read is not that easy with the data base. Letting you know about the products conflict is a plus, too. There is also a reminder and you can sync your data. Overall I would give a 5 star plus.
I'm finding it very helpful to learn what products I can use together, plus a visual reminder of when I last used something is very handy to remind me it's time to do that treatment again. I like the new take a photo option, I prefer searching the product and copy/paste the ingredients but sometimes they are hard to find so the take photo option, whilst not 100% gets most of the ingredients down for me so I don't have to type them all out. This really is a great app for those invested in skin!
I love this app! It makes planning and scheduling products so easy, and I really like the addition of the midday routine! Suggestion for a future update: it would be great to be able to add a note to an individual routine, for those times when a product is used once. Like a mask that isn't part of a regular routine, or a sample that replaces a regular product once or twice. There isn't a need to add those to the regular routine, but would be nice to have a record of having used them.
Awesome app! Been using it for over a year now and it's been great for keeping me accountable on my routine. It has helpful tips on which ingredients may not be good to pair together and orders your products for you. Especially if you've been testing new products - marking when products were opened, being able to take notes of changes, and seeing how many times/how long it's been used can help. Also nice to figure out how long it takes for me to go thru a bottle so I know when to re-purchase.
This is a beautifully-designed app; lots of great features without being unwieldy. It is so easy to add custom products and incorporate them into the routine. Organizing the steps into product type, adding your own product types and re-ordering the steps is simple. The "diary" feature is pretty cool too, you can include progress pics, skin ratings and notes on your skin. It is so customizable, I actually added steps for toothpaste/mouthwash, hair products, and bath products. Great app!
I like this app and think it has huge potential to help people learn about and manage their skincare products. I've already found it helpful as it alerted me to an ingredient conflict I wasn't yet aware of. The app is aesthetically nice and easy to use, and it is easy to add custom products. The app is focused around DECIEM products, which I don'tuse, but it is still helpful. I would like it if the developer added a space in the app to read and learn about specific skincare ingredients.
It's a nice app, it looks great and is easy to navigate. You do need to imput certain brands manually, which at first I found annoying, but now I prefer the feeling for complete control haha! Would recommend! Helps me make decisions on what products to purchase based off it's interaction against other products in use (it looks at the ingredient list), supee helpful since ai have crazy, reactive and sensitive skin.
For a paid app, it would be nice for the app to have a wider library of products to choose from so that the name and ingredients of the product doesn't need manual input. Alternatively, taking a picture of the product for it to automatically recognise it in the system would be more helpful. The app only really tells which ingredients conflict with each other or when you used the product last. Might be good if you're just getting into skincare however not worth the money at any stage.
This app is amazing to organize your daily skincare routine. It has great features to change the app to the colors that you like. It tells you if you have alternating products, which is great for beginners like me. You can add all of the products you like to use. If they don't have a products in quick add then it is super easy to add a products. You can add specific days of the week or days of the month to use a product. You can also write daily summaries about your skin. It is a helpful app❤!
This app has kept me accountable with my skincare routine. I love being able to go back into different days to see when I used specific active ingredients. I also appreciate the warnings when mixing incompatible actives. One feature I wish was available is comparing the diary photos between different days. Thank you for a fun app! It was worth the price.
This app has made me a lot more compliant with my skincare regimen! Love it! Some suggestions though: 1. I can't seem to permanently delete a product I removed from my routine 2. There should be a way to tell from the calendar when I last took a selfie, or at least a notification when to take the next one. Or even better, compare them side by side 3. An option to 'reschedule' a regimen. Eg, face mask every Tues, but forgot to do, so should be able to move to Wed or any other day.
Love it so far. Keep up the awesome work. The only thing that would be 5++++ is allowing users to add other products and letting everyone search and add to their routine. Don't know how you would govern it.... But it would be amazing way to tailor your individual routine using a wider range of products.
Originally had issues with this app, but the developer was extremely quick to respond to me and provide solutions for my problems. I have been using the app ever since and it is my go to everyday when I do my skincare routine. I really enjoy that you can add custom products, as well as the ordinary items. Would recommend it to everyone who is interested in devising a skincare routine :)
It's great if you have a lot of The Ordinary products but I had to manually add in a bunch of stuff. What really bugged me was that the app would randomly change a product's category (like put a mask into the sunscreen category) even though I had changed it at least once before.
