Would give 0 stars if i could. Ive tried this app on 3 different phones and i keep getting the same message when i try to open it. "Opps, looks like something went wrong." Dont waste your time with this app. It wont even run.
Need to fix: "something went wrong" Allow app to run with data. App won't run without wifi. Fix immediately. How will I spend money to top up if the app won't open.
App use to work on older phone. Installed on to new phone and app will not accept my phone# says number is invalid🙄 numerous emails to get it sorted! No help other than restart phone🥴 try 64 before number. Now all my rollover minutes, texts etc won't work because my app doesn't work, so acc can't automatically prepay to keep everything going😡
Ths app is not working. Getting "Hmm. Something went wrong. Try again." This error message is useless as it doesn't provide any details on the problem.
Constantly unable to load unless on wifi. Even with data and credit on pH. Get the message "hmmmm something went wrong, try again"
After using years without any issue last 4 months I can't top up with my card anymore... After typing the card details etc there is no enter / OK button.... I've uninstall and removed data cash etc then reinstall a few times still same issue... Last 4 months my wife (she is with skinny as well) sends me gift credit so how i can top up now... It is quite annoying as you could be out there with something serious and you got no credit to call / text... Useless
Constant bugs for the last year or 2 and then yesterday I discovered after topping up for my impending rollover, there's a new auto-topup feature that's on by default and had taken a second lot of my money without warning or permission... Not happy
App is not allowing me to open it, says something is wrong. Have deleted and reinstalled, same problem. Can't top up and my plan is set to renew in an hour.
Endless problems. Error message kept popping up, then reinstalled, it didn't allow to move on from text verification. And more. One of the lousiest Telco apps.
Since last update it doesn't even show my data usage or rollover data. Pretty hopeless.
App works alright, it is just annoying that it doesn't immediately load the balance if you top up and so you need to close and reopen the app to select a plan. If you don't have sufficient service while topping up it sometimes produces an error, suggesting it didn't work and then process the transaction anyway. This has happened twice to me now and I end up with extra credit sitting in my account.
Up until today I have recommended Skinny, but now I am just frustrated with it. Was looking at the app to see how much money I had left and it says my authorization has expired and requests a text code. Did receive one text code number and entered it but it hasn't made any difference. GGRRR
I have had this app for a little over a year and I am constantly having to uninstall it and redownload it because it won't open. I have finally had enough and I am moving to another network. It's ridiculous how bad this app is
Skinny app doesn't work for me to top up or use in general unless Im within WiFi connection.. Annoying!
Need to sort out why app keeps crashing I fully updated it restarted my phone turn mobile data off and on a few times I have unlimited data, was forced to reinstall app and now can't link my phone to app after reinstalling and reinstalling via WiFi ya need to sort it out
Go easy on the SMS & app notifications. Way too many. Shouldn't need mobile data to check the app
I'm impressed with a lot of the functionality of this app, but I just hit 2 big issues: 1) addons are set to auto-renew. I would prefer not to renew. It is not clear whether "deactivate" applies to the currently active addon or the auto-renewal. 2) The transaction history shows completely blank if I don't give the app permission to access my contacts. It should be possible to show what I have been billed for without accessing my contacts.
Edit; issue was resolved in the end, but still an annoying issue to run into when you need the app. Constant "Hmm. Something went wrong! Try again!" Messages while trying to use this app. Multiple restarts, full reinstall of the app, nothing fixed it. Not the first time I've had the issue either, and looks like it's quite common judging from other people's experience. Step 1 of making a good app, make it able to be opened
I have a $16 plan and when I try to activate the free weekend internet courtesy of Summer, nothing happens. I click it and literally nothing happens. No way to fix according to the pathetic robot, search results don't give any appearance of how to fix problem. Pathetic. Not to mention the days you actually need help are the ones you can't get help via weekends...
I've lost count how many times I have to delete this app then download it again. It keeps locking me out and freezing 😡 I'm so over this. I think I'll change phone company. I'm sick of this app not working
Sends me a request to re verify the app, sends an SMS with six digit code which is invalid every time. I went through the whole process five times Useless Skinny why don't you test these things out, a zero from ten for your own IT people, incompetent. App deleted. Better off with Vodafone.
It does some things you can't via website, which is good. BUT. It DOESN'T do things you CAN via website. Be great to do ALL functions in either web or app - not have to use both. Personally, I dislike the app, & only use it for the functions absent from website. Otherwise, I wouldn't use the app at all. As previous reviewer noted, in app you can only manage 1 phone - & can't manage your broadband (you can do this via web browser though!) App devs need a bigger square/box.
Had to block notifications from the app a long time ago, there is no way of disabling just some of them. The widget is terrible. Its not configurable and shows available on network mins (unlimited) instead of off network mins (limited), and it shows data balances you can't currently use. The app has so much good functionality, but these few things make it useless.

Cannot get into app to top my phone up, also can not top up on the website as it also keeps coming up with an issue. I need my phone for work and this has become a real inconvenience to say the least
This app worked fine for about a year. Now I can't access it with my data on, I have to be connected to the wifi. Which means when I'm stuck without wifi and if I need to do something urgently, I can't. Absolutely ridiculous, I will be changing my network provider soon
