Game is fun enough with friends, but not perfect, and borderline bad sometimes. Game can stagnate with no one playing for several turns because for some reason the deck has five or six of the same number for every player. It is also very easy to disconnect from the game, make sure you do not put it in the background or you will DC. This wouldn't be entirely aggravating if not for the fact that you cannot rejoin a game. Overall it's fun to play, but does have some issues.

This game is great. I enjoy playing online with other players. It would be great if the developers could change one thing...when playing online with other players, if one of the players minimizes their game, everyone else is on pause until that person comes back. I suggest there be a "timeout" function similar to when you don't play a card so that the game can continue without the person who minimized their game. Otherwise, great game. Thanks.

It keeps booting me off of the game and I have perfect cell phone reception where I'm at. Sometimes it skips my turn and I'll lose the game. There are many, many times I'll click the "Play Online" button, and it will show "Please Wait" and then take me back to the main menu. I'll keep clicking the button, but I'll get the same results. Also, what the heck is the coins for? Other than that it's super fun, just like the card game! If the game makers changed the flaws, I'd be on this game a lot.

Tempermental to say the least. Offline mode isn't perfect and playing with friends is darn near impossible. Don't mind the timer, but I'd prefer if it was an option. Don't like that you can place Skip Bo cards on top of each other, this is unlike the real rules, so again I think this should be optional. Playing with friends seriously needs fixing though and this for me is where the main problems are. Sometime I can't even create or join games and when you're in you get kicked out. Disappointed.

Others have called this game a 'fun but mind-numbing way to pass some time' but the more you play it, the more you realise that there are subtle levels of strategy that you can employ that make this quite a challenging and stimulating game to play against others, especially in live online play. I first started playing this game in Second Life (where it is called Skippo) and enjoyed it so much that I looked for an app version to play outside of Second Life. I tried a few different apps but prefer this one as you are not inundated with annoying ads and the gameplay is smooth and clear. My only minor criticism is that there is no information about how the scoring and levels work or how I can change my cartoon avatar image for a real photo as many other players have done - do I have to reach a certain skill level or is this a paid-for upgrade? The other thing that is a little annoying is that I set the music and sounds to 'off' so as not to disturb others but when you quit the game, an ad for a different game is shown (which I don't mind since this is a free app and the developers need to get some recompense for giving this app to us) but it blasts out at full volume. It would be better if it took notice of your settings. Overall this is a great little game to play than can easily become addictive.

Really enjoy playing this game But unfortunately for some unknown reason all of a sudden when playing the screen suddenly turns black in the middle of a game and I can no longer play on and have to shut down.. Its really starting to annoy me, this has happened a few times. My device if fine and up to date and skip no has no updates. Well rate better when sorted. Thanks

The AI wins 90% of the time and uses skip bo cards even when it has the needed card in its pile. It's really weird and messed up. I can play a 20 card game and still have 19 cards left when the AI has 6. Because I prefer playing the offline mode, it won't work for me anymore. It's too frustrating to lose all the time. I liked it at first, but the AI turned me off.

The game is fun, play it all of the time in real life when I go visit my best friend of 30 years out of state. We found this app during quarantine and we're so excited. However, the biggest downfall is always being told I was "disconnected". We've never been able to complete a full game it's frustrating bc I can play the computer all day long with no issues. Also, there are a few glitches that need to be worked on when playing skip Bo cards.

AI's don't play strategically, they simply play what they can, setting up other opponents. Weirdly enough, every time an AI wins, their last card is a skipbo which automatically wins them the game. You'll win your first few games, but after that, you'll just be on a losing streak. In addition, the online does not work, simply won't load so you can only play offline.

I absolutely love playing this game, but when I try to play online or with friends it says almost everytime "disconnected from game". I've checked my internet and that wasnt the problem. I had 3 other people try to play with me (not all at once) but everytime one of tried online or with friends it would say the same thing. Dont get me wrong though I do just love playing the offline skipbo. i enjoy it alot. if you fix the problem that would be awesome!

A great app. Lets me play skip-bo anytime I want. No complaints about the ads. They are so small and there is rarely a popup that when it does happen its not a big deal. Compared to other gaming apps that have ads every minute. The coins took me a while to figurw out what their use was and i actually had to look it up. Maybe having more to spend the coins on. Like differnt colored decks or backgrounds.

I love the game and the interface. It plays smoothly and rarely crashes or freezes. I would give 5 stars if the A.I. was better, the computer players will use skip-bo cards for numbers that they have in their discard pile(s) (i.e. they'll place a skip-bo card on top of a 3 when they have a 4 available to play in their discard pile) a human player would never do that. The game would be more challenging if that was fixed. Also would like to play games longer than 30 cards, should be extended to 50

Ever since the update that added voice capability, the app has been super buggy and crashes a lot. Cards disappear, or seem to be taken from opponents' piles instead of my own. What's displayed on the board may differ between opponents (different cards shown on central piles). It's a mess. They should revert to an earlier, more stable version until they can fix the game.

Tried to have a game with friends but for some reason, it kicks you out and then let's the AI take over when you try to use your phone for something else in between your turn. Playing with friends should be like Words With Friends where it is played at the players own pace and the game can be entered and exited when ready. Update this and I'll play it again with my friends.

I thought this would be fun since I love Skip Bo... but... it's predetermined who's going to win, so it's not fun or challenging after the first few moves, so why bother. The 3rd character always, no matter what has what it takes to block the human player, and the other robot characters don't always block each other at all, even with the top card on their remaining card pile. Hum, needs some work by the developer...

The game usually runs fairly smooth, but playing online with friends can be a hassle. Firstly, you have to choose the number of players before sharing the link, so additional friends can't choose to join without restarting and getting a different room code. Secondly, and most frustratingly, online play is automatically on a timer that can't be opted out of. There's no way to pause and come back. If you need to go AFK for anything, you get timed out and replaced with a bot. Annoying!!

Edit: this app is getting worse and worse. So many bugs it's embarrassing. Developers, where have you gone to??? Great game, played the card version for years. However, this is probably the buggiest app I've ever used! Regular dropped connections, getting thrown out of a game for no apparent reason, general weird bugs that don't let you make a move, crappy AI gameplay, etc.

I love playing this game in real time and was super excited to see it as an app. I love the fact you can play online, with friends that you know by putting in a code, and just playing offline when you don't have great internet connection. However, I don't like the fact that once you choose a card amount and person amount online, so don't have the option to ever change it. Sometimes I like playing a quick game but other times I enjoy a much harder challenge.

Can never finish a game, everytime I play with friends something happens. One of us gets disconnected despite great internet. I had something flash across the screen and ended up with a blank spot in my "hand" could only see 4 cards. After a few more rounds my whole screen went white and I couldn't play. Had to close the app and start a new game. Really annoying!

The game is really fun. The major problem is that It just keeps cutting off my entire phone. Sometimes when I click the game my whole screen blacks out. You cant leave the game once you start especially if yoi invite someone to play with you or otherwise you will be locked out, but the game still plays for you as if you are there and tells the person you invited to the game at the end that you left. It is Fustrating.

I don't like that you have to play with 4 players. I think when playing the computer it would be nice to pick your opponents with different levels of difficulty. When playing online or off seems that cards aren't right. How is possible for each player to have six 10's as an example. Also alot you wait long times on certain numbers.

Pam. D. Sep 21, 2019

It's alright. I don't like the default left column the computer players use for skipbo cards. And it would be more of a challenge if the computer players had just a little strategy.. I've played real people and they're not much better. Response to developer: Have you played a game against your robots? Do you even know how to play skipbo? The answer to your request is infinite bc of varying strategies this game is open to. But competitiveness is the goal. And your robots lack this.

It's a good card game if that's all you want. There's not much else to do but play online, offline with CPU, or play with friends in a generated room. It would be better if you could just see the friends that play and be able to add them from there instead of it generating a room number. And what are you supposed to do with all the coins you get? In Uno you always get to purchase different frames and like things. It could be alot better.
