It's okay, it's very hit and miss. I'd like to know where extra functions have gone like the 0-60 timer? Since the apps merged. Edit: it's been weeks since I got any form of push notifications from the app, no email for speed, or moved from parking spot... I don't get anything.... Can't believe I'm actually paying for this!

App really poor. Fails to connect, says car isn't charging when it is. Most of time you spend waiting for it to connect it's quicker to walk to the car. Heating part of app often doesn't connect. Lots of messages saying report to administrator etc. Often boots you out and you have to reset. Doesn't make life easier just makes it more frustrating. Would like to mark with less than 1 star.

Love car (Enyaq), but the app is woeful. It frequently fails to connect at all and in the most recent update it now fails to report the current battery charging status after a charge until I next drive the car, it remains stuck on what the charge was before plugging in. A feature I would really like to see added is where I can switch the charger on and off via a timer.

When the app works, it's pretty ok (unfortunately it cannot connect to the server very often). The data is kind of unreliable. I've had a few situations where I was standing next to the car, closed it while the app kept displaying that the car is unlocked. The app stopped displaying data from the last trips I made 2 weeks ago and older. At least, the car position works flawlessly, so far. Another problem is the inability to turn on the app or connect to Skoda servers every once in a while.

Basic app, let down by skoda servers.? VERY unreliable. My app looks nothing like the developer pictures (not sure what that's all about, future ideas maybe). For an electric car, (using it with the Enyaq) you would think they could do better with the technology behind the application. Lots of serious failings I hope they are working hard to address. 0.5 stars if that was possible. Things can only get better from here, looking forward to the next update. Hopefully it will work then.

Basically the app used to connect but since the update it just crashes. I've tried reinstalling but no joy with actually opening it. I expect the bot will send the same response as everyone else has had. Not good enough Skoda. If I could give it a negative score I would. Am using the up to date version as suggested. It's beyond rubbish. "There is a problem and we're working on it". I'll not pay for this app when my year is up.

With an EV, the app is critical in accessing features, like pre heating the car, or charging. So it is sad that, whilst the app appears fine, the service it connects to is a complete mess. It is just as likely to be down than working. There can be days on end when it is impossible to even log in to the app, and more where features are completely missing. C'mon Skoda, you make great cars, put some priority into getting this sorted. I left another car supplier mainly because their app was so poor.

As an Enyaq EV owner the app is an important part of the usage of the vehicle - being able to check state of charge - plus pre-heating is a nice feature too. The screenshots in the description are misleading & NOT the features you actually get! The app is extremely unreliable & regularly fails (can't access the app, can't connect to server, car disappeared from the 'garage' and can't re-add). Skoda ought to be extremely embarrassed that their flagship EV has been burdened with this abysmal app.

This application was more or less useful previously. However for the past month or so it refuses to work more often then not. For example right now it won't show me my car (just an empty garage) and attempt to add it results in "The operation was unsuccessful..." message. To be honest I no longer expect this app to work when I open it. With this level of quality or doesn't make any sense to pay for the subscription.

A tentative 3 stars, as the app seems stable at the moment and send trip to vehicle has worked (without the ridiculous delay) for 2 days on the trot. Let's wait and see what happens before a possible further increase in stars!! 21.1.22 OK, back to 1 star. Send trip to vehicle now not working again, although car is parked in (and I'm sending from) exactly the same places when it last worked. Also getting intermittent cannot connect to server messages. Glad I haven't paid for this.

When it works it's OK but the app like the software on my Skoda Octavia is unreliable. Sometimes sending a route to the satnav is quick other times it takes several hours so of little use. Last week the car disappeared from the app, I had to login again but then some data was incorrect, the app didn't know where the car was located and told me the doors were unlocked, only fixed by uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Since then the app still does not connect every time. Skoda you need to do better !! And before you make an unhelpful comment, I am using the latest version of the app 5.0.2.

Update 28/1/22 - credit where it's due. It's getting allot better. Only lost connection once this month. Doing what it is supposed to do. This is awful. It does not work properly. Cannot find my car in the app. But will find it in the website portal. Please skoda fixed this app. It ruins the experience of owning a great car.

Had the app installed on my previous phone after many attempts. The login process should be that cumbersome. Second, refresh my garage doesn't work. Adding it again doesn't allow me to be primary user, if I skip the whole VIN login etc start over again. At the end, was advised to reset vehicle to factory settings (and loosing all setting of the car just for changing a primary user????) This is not customer-friendly and contrary to the spirit of the EV Skoda Enyaq who I love drive in.

Simply doesn't work. It was always sketchy but now doesn't work at all even after reinstalling etc. It is not a WiFi, phone or other homegrown issue. Simply doesn't work. Yes this is the latest version. It now partially works but cannot turn the heating on which is really its most useful feature. I have young children who must sit in a freezing cold car waiting for it to defog etc

A massive amount of work has gone into this app over the past 3-6 months and its much, much more reliable. Not 5* but its getting there. I believe the final issues are actually the mobile signal my car has causing some inconsistent app responses like "heating already in progress" etc.. But Skoda developers thank you very much for actioning your feedback from customers.

Terrible app. It's next to useless and to top it off I have to keep going out to my car to photo the VIN number to re-register my car. The app tells me things like my car doors are locked/unlocked and my windows are up/down, but I can't do anything about them from the app. Useless! My next car will be electric and it's imperative I have an app that can reliably interface with it. If this app isn't sorted by the time I get my next car in 18 months it won't be a Skoda I'll be driving.

im going to start this review like a lot of mine, if your receiving 1 star reviews then you have a seious problem with the app, responding to all with a standard message that needs an indepth analysis doesnt fill me with confidence. I paid the £30 for Skoda Connect just to get rid of the constant message on my car but app is dissapointing and unreliable, like the software used in the car i suppose. Quicker to go to car and look than mess with app. Fortunate to give 2 stars but waste of money

Agreed on the previous poster - In principle the app is a eally good idea however I echo what other people have said - It just doesn't work the majority of the time. The first picture in the set of pictures show features which according to Skoda customer support is not even available!. Customer support in general is shocking unfortunately with regards to this app. I asked a simple question - 'why are certain features which you market as being available not available on my app?' And I get multiple answers all contradicting themselves - ending up with "the features are not available for your car..." My car is the latets model car you have released with arguable the most tech inside it (Enyaq IV) All I would say is this - Do not think that this app is going to be useful for you in its current form - It won't be. You will end up frustrated with it more than anything - just forget it exists.

Very unreliable. Takes ages to update. (It’s quicker to go to the car and check physically), or fails completely on occasions. Frequently gives wrong info regarding doors and windows. You wonder how reassuring the “We have not found a defect” message really is!!! TWO WEEKS LATER. The app has forgotten my vehicle details and asks me to re-input the VIN. This I do but it now says "There is a problem. Try again later" RUBBISH app. Not worth the effort of switching it on

When it works it's OK, but constantly having to reload the car, fails to connect to server and some of the functions require me to visit the dealer, who know nothing about registering me to use them. At least it's easier to update than thee infotainment system that after a year and numerous updates, still doesn't work and regularly tells me the sos function has a fault.

When it works it's great. But most of the time it either fails to load particular data, like battery charge and status, or I can't log in at all. So here's another single star to add to your already large collection. I hope your abysmal rating helps motivate you to finally fix the current issues.

This app is a piece of garbage. Even if I created my account 3 minutes ago, I'm not able to log in ("Connection failed" even after reinstalling the app, WiFi/4G...). I've tried to reset my password with my mail account, I've never received any mail to reset my password (yes, I checked junk mail). S-PIN is also useless and unsecure (4 digits seriously ? Require at least 6-8 alphnum !). Another easier authentication method should be set by default (both in the car and in the app).

Hard to install. Very little of any use. Battery status and aircon (beta) are about all the functionality available. MUCH more work need Skoda (VW). If you can produce software to misrepresent emmisions data, this shouldnt be too difficult. Following developer response: Updated app. Still unable to have more than one user profile - there are two drivers of this vehicle, and we aren't joined at the hip. Unable to review further until this is resolved. Original review still stands.

I have a Skoda Superb 3, 2017, and is activated. I have two issues/questions. Using SmartLink, not SmartLink+, with the USB cable, does not update MySkoda app with the latest info. Only when I enable the hotspot on my phone the app gets the updates but only on the "Vehicle status" tab with the right mileage and other info. If I go to the "Inspect" tab the information displayed is older, from Oct. 2021 and does not update with the latest information... What should I do in this case?
