The only way to be sure you don't miss events is to check the app every single day. I wish it had a subscriber-notifier message system that would produce operating system notifications. I want to opt in to receive notifications for specific kinds of events. For example, full moon alerts or planetary conjunction alerts.
It's a great help for planning star gazing nights. It's set up like a list with small graphics. Idk if theres a reminder feature for some events, but I'd like to have one
I haven't done anything with this app yet. I've paid for pro version with faith that it's going to be as good as it is claimed. I've got a three questions if you don't mind. 1. Is there a manual available? 2. I can't seem to get the daily data to download. Is there something that I should be doing to rectify this? 3. Does this app include comets? Five stars given with the same reasoning as paying for pro, before use. Cheers.
Very good app. Though it might not give you extensive list of cosmic events and much local to solar system, this is still a good interface to check the reminders
If your looking for an app that will inform you when metor showers, full moons, planets passing eachother, or just ANY ole "Skyevent" is happening....Search NO MORE! Cause THIS IS THE ONE! 👍😁 Shout out to the creators! -THANK YOU- 🤘 Y'all Rock! 😎 Is there a way to set monthly alerts for things like a full?
AMAZING app for any astronomers! I use this all the time to see elongation of mercury and other things. It is so useful and it makes me look forward to events coming up!
While the app gives the information as advertised, it lacks explanation of what the time listed for each event is. For meteor showers, is that time the start, finish or zenith? Also, is the time UTC or local time? This lack of information means no 5 star.
Awesome app giving all sky events over the year in relation to,... meteor showers, planets, moon and sun events. Events show in monthly instalments as Bands giving the dates and times of up-coming events.
I've always enjoyed astronomy, tho I'm no more than an amateur. Hopefully, thru apps like this I'll be able to learn more.
Only thing I noticed is that not everything is there.. I looked into the future with it up to 2029 and no mention of Apophis, but all the normal stuff is what I want in the app.
Its awesome! No guessing here. You can find out all different kinds of sky events with this app. Meteor showers are on the top of my list. Excellent!!🌝🌜🌚🌛🌞🌟🌠🌟🌞🌜🌚🌛🌝
The app's great, but would love it if it gave you push notifications whenever there's an upcoming event soon though.
So all this is, is showing me some rss feed? Why do I need an app for that. I'd rather search "astronomical events" in Google. I thought it would show me the coordinates of the actual events in the sky.
It's fast accurate and can work offline. It's a good app, definitely would recommend
Keeps you up to date on all events! The add to your personal calendar is AWESOME!!!
Can't load Daily Data. Just Hangs on Loading. Won't even let me update to premium. Just Hangs as well.
Great info, every phase or event listed. Simple and easy.
Its gr8 to see all sky events lined up in seperate categories i.e. future and past events...one of the best app so far
Excellent app. with interesting and easily found events.
Has a good blend of astrology and astronomy. Well organised so I dig it.
I have been looking for an astronomy app like this one. It completes the information I use for my nightly viewing
Best best ever space app I love this it has everything in it from sunrise to conjunction of any 2 heavenly bodies
Not up to date.... there is a great viewing opportunity of a comet right now and nothing is mentioned here I keep looking but still nothing!
I like the app. But I don't like having to physically go and open it every day to make sure that I don't miss anything. Plus, there is no widget. Yes I realize that I can take the time to review things individually and add them to the calendar if I need, but notifications and categories are the proper way to accomplish this. I would for example like to be notified of meteor showers over a certain predicted hourly zenith rate. How difficult can that be? After reading the reviews, I'm not the only one that finds a lack of notifications inconvenient. Now that being said, the app does provide a great deal of well organized celestial information. But without notifications, I won't be purchasing the Premium version, and if I forget to check the app regularly for a number of weeks, it will not remain on my phone for very long, as I will have gotten used to being without it or have replaced it with another app. The way to make money with apps, is to make an app that people cannot live without!
