Sky Guide
The basic app function displays a detailed, scalable and fully user-configurable celestial map with constellations and celestial objects (limit magnitude up to 6.3) that are visible with the naked eye or smaller telescopes. The place and time of observation as well as the direction of view can be manually configured by the user or automatically with the so-called “Live mode” (i.e. GPS, real-time and compass-guided).
Detailed additional information is available for every celestial object (fixed star, deep sky object, planet, moon, sun, meteorite shower). The information of the Bright Star Catalog and the Washington Double Star Catalog is made available for fixed stars. Additionally, users can add notes and links for every object.
The powerful search function makes it possible to align the map to a specific celestial object or guide the observer – in „live mode“ – to an object in the starry sky with specific notices. Searches can be performed according to the traditional name of an object, the catalog designation or the constellation. Moreover, the app makes it easy to identify celestial objects by aligning the device to the object in “Live mode”.
The functionality of the app is complemented by a number of astronomical tools and data, e.g. an astronomical event calculator, an orbit diagram (orrery), a moon viewer (a scalable, orthogonal, geocentric or topocentric moon projection while properly taking the libration, moon phase, position angle and parallactic angle into account) and an ephemerides generator.

Can't get it to focus on anything. Can't get calibration to work. Very confusing to use.
This app works very well with Apple or Mac. Not at all good with Android. Look for other apps if you are willing to put in money to buy as a one time purchase. I am not happy and won't recommend this to any android user.
This app doesn't work with my phone. Apparently it only works with older Android phones. Really disappointing
Fabulous amazing app to help you see what is out there!!! I have an Android, Galaxy Note, and it has always worked really well over the several years that I have had this app
I had 'serondipitously' crossed paths with a old dude as i was passing through, we had coffee and tea as he gave me the best advice with photography, especially night sky photography of the Cedone,AZ terrain..he inspected my camera and input a setting "This will allow the most proffessional astrophototraphy of the MilkyWay from Three Sisters Peaks, but, before you go, download and buy the."Sky Guide App" Follow its directions, I did, "BEST APP EVER!" I used to be able to see plains and satellite information. What happened? The accuracy in constellation mode is not accurate.
Does not work on Android devices. Attempted to use for 15 minutes, then requested a refund followed by uninstalling. I say don't waste your time on this App.
I love this app, unfortunately no Android phone has a reliable compass. This cripples one of the best features.
Not very user friendly . My brother has the same app on his iPhone and it is alot better than on my android phone
this was an older version. I expected the newest version. very disappointing. I would like to know if there is a free upgrade.
Hoped that for $3USD it would have been able to tell me where to look for the NEOWISE comet but the search function returned nothing. De-installed the app and requested a refund. Another free app did tell me where NEOWISE was.
This installs but doesn't work on android devices. It should NOT install if it can't woek with android.
Not user friendly. No guidance as to how to use the app. Should have read the reviews. The apple app by the same name is apparently much better.

Works great offline - thank you. But can only see a small part of the sky at one time.
App took my money before telling me that it only works with older versions of android. What does work is very limited.

Not very visually detailed. Feels gross to use. Inaccurate aim.
Would not download. Payed for the app, but it wouldn't start the download. Waited for close to an hour before I gave up.

not the same as the iphone app. Avoid! its a bad app just using the iphone app's name to scam people. this is just a very low quality app used as a scam!

I was under the impression that this was the Android version of the Sky Guide app for the Apple product. When I looked up the app it was the exact same icon as the one for the Apple product, however; once I purchased the app it was totally different. I am very unhappy with the app. The picture on the screen never changes when pointing the phone in a different direction. I just wasted my money.
