Sky News

Not the greatest news app, nor the easiest to use, but still an excellent tool and simple enough to find your way around and get what you need. Interesting live video coverage too, as this is one of the key features I find useful. The only hitch is, is it would be nice to be able to zoom into the pictures, as some I'm having to use a magnifying glass for. The ads are well placed and not intrusive, but a shame you cannot customise the other news item categories, as it's a pain scrolling through.

Thumbnail photos are actually wallet sized photos and too big for the real estate available. No room for headlines. Most headlines are cut off and all that is visible is the top half of the first line. Impossible to know what it says most of the time. Otherwise content looked to be on par but I don't want to click every story just to see if it has interest for me or not. Uninstalled...and looking for another app.

Normally, the app is great, but today its practically unusable. Adverts popping up over news stories, that make the article unreadable and you can't get rid of them. You have to come out of the app, go back in and then the same thing happens again! Unusable!

It's brilliant, easy, up to date news. I leave the notifications on and just click on the ones that are of interest and swipe the others away. I've never used a news app before and don't feel the need to try another. This does everything I need, nice, highly recommended.

Used to work fine and was my goto news app. However now each story takes forever to load (seems to be the Live Breaking new stories) you click on them and can 3-4 minutes for the blue bar and the story to load. Maybe time to find another new app

Can you please make a bookmark feature where I can save all my favourite news stories and read back on to them. This is a very important helpful useful feature I desperately need. Thank you for reading my review and I hope whoever reads this has a great day ahead of them!

What is going on with these new adverts. Normally a great news app for picking up the daily headline. New update has adverts taking up nearly the entire screen and you can't get rid of them. Will get my news from somewhere else until this is rectified. Putting greed before your readers.

The app doesn't allow videos that are shown to move into full screen. It's difficult to see the videos & worse if there is writing on the video as unable to read.

I previously had trouble reading some articles the screen just went blank when I clicked on the news so I uninstall it an re installed it an now again I'm having the same problem. I clicked on 3 different news stories to read an they were blank

The reporting is fast but scattered and relies too heavily on video footage to avoid any real journalism. But what reputable app commits to the AI?? advertising dross that follows and masquerades as 'interest' stories. Dreadful!

I trust the Sky news team more than any other news broadcasters. They will not write anything without confirmation of facts unlike some others. The app is very easy to navigate and I've never had any issues using it.

I found this news agency to be quite Informative and unbiased, I watch live coverage on YouTube. I do wish they would change their theme music from time to time as it becomes quite annoying after a while.

Issue with all Sky apps - Sky News and Sky Sports. Half of the stories do not load and just get stuck with a small loading bar at top left. Issue on Samsung S22 ultra and prior to this had the same issue on Note 20

First port of call for an easy to use source of news. Love the headings so you can quickly scan through and pick out what to read.

This app is really showing great info on news and I like it on the fact that it alerts me, but I would love it more if you could bring live news room Moreover am glad for services

Really good highlight descriptions of headlines. Very easy too use. Never feel overwhelmed by amount of information or pressured to add on or buy more features.

I am very new to using the sky news app and to sky news itself. Very happy as it is a refreshingly better to other news apps with much more options and catagories.I have been using sky news for a while now as my go to site for quality new and views.

No reason to doubt truthfulness but Sky journalists are extremely biased in their reporting. Beth Rigby and others show their favour of the liberal left in every report. There is absolutely no balance to reporting.

App stopped working today. It says I have no internet connection, I a have fibre optic connection which is working fine. I am now trying to reinstall but it is taking ages. It has now rienstalled but still have the same internet message. BBC app is working fine

Its great when you can get pictures of the news as I find it helps when reading the of the events helps to put the two together.

Please update your news articles more regularly it's now May and there are still articles that have been on here since February.. Only getting about a dozen aday why I want to read an article again and again. Still news articles on Easter traffic.. Seriously

Journalism has become so sensationalist - headline grabs to entice you to read only for an article to contradict itself time after time after time - sky used to appear fact based it is what is is - seems to have been a change - deleting

This is one of many news outlets that I verify and get a different point of view in the world. Since I can't stand the politically charged this disinformation of US News outlets.

I get excellent quality instant up to date world news and I can look back on the news from the past day or so or I can watch the news live as it's being broadcast and it totally free

Biased News. Doesn't tell the public the actual truth, instead feeds them propaganda to control the mindset. Disappointing journalism therefore use alternatives where possible.

The privacy notice nor the privacy options don't open just a blank page. Really mad that it keeps showing me local ads near me.

Works okay but some news categories have stories almost two months old. Not exactly "latest news"... -edit- - two years later and still the same... :-/
