Keeps crashing, some articles don't load up properly at all, just a blue bar that kinda gets to the end but won't let you scroll down to look at it, just freezes. Ads can be very long for a short video. Some articles are minimal with "more to come" which is off putting. Why not put out a whole article? Ads pop up to throw the main menu screen off so you select that instead of the article you want which again is annoying. This must be fixed ASAP as it used to be a very reliable app.

Absolutely terrible, anxiety inducing app. Constantly freezes while loading screens. Near impossible to watch a video of anything at all. Nothing loads and I too have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but I think its just an issue that the developers refuse to go to the bother of fixing. Very surprised as its a Sky app.

Really a poor standard of media app in 2022 - prone to being sluggish to load video (and even then there's a chance it'll just error out). It's great having all the channels available and redbutton feeds too but quality can vary significantly. Also for a media app to not have picture in picture on android in this day and age is also poor. It shouldn't be a better experience to stream on a random website than it is through official means that you pay for.

Can't watch highlights, but you can watch the adverts!! I use this app to keep an eye on the football scores, I would like to watch the videos, but after it plays the adverts, it doesn't play the videos. Happens 9 out of 10 times and it's frustrating as hell.

This app should be customisable beyond just selecting a sport. Maybe having the option to only see the Premier League news for example. I'm not in the slightest interested in women's or Scottish football. Kind of feels forced upon us. And the personal news around players isn't sport either. Wayne Rooney's wife isn't sport news. I'm going to find a new app.

Terrible app, crashes all the time when trying to load a article or video. If you like adverts then this is the app for you, as its the only thing you can watch without having any issues.

I thought it was just me that found this app frustrating, what's obvious is its not. What is clear is that SKY don't read act or care about the bad reviews as long as the money keeps rolling in. The amount of ads has got unbearable over the last few months ........ WHY ????? answers on a postcard please. Didn't think it could get worse but it has, you now can't clear ads at the end of a video clip.

If you try and navigate through to multiple articles then the app gets stuck and fails to load after 2-4 which is incredibly frustrating. That's with a fine internet connection and nothing else in the way.

Full of ads and clickbait, not what you would expect from a multi-billion pound company. Have some self-respect and stop trying to tell me about "hot women in London", "smart beds selling for next to nothing", "VOIP cell phones selling for close to nothing". Also, the amount of sports stories missing from this app is dumbfounding. It seems they will only write articles about events shown on their channel which massively limits their news telling capabilities.

Underwhelming really a lot of the articles are advertised as being an hour old or just now despite them being in there far longer. Reasonably decent app for overall sport news but there are better apps for individual sports available. *** Revised down to 1*** All videos have 30 seconds of adverts, despite half of them being less than 30 seconds long in total. Sort it our Sky!

App is pretty rubbish now, constantly fails to load stories/pages when you click on them, just ends up saying "app is not responding". Way too many ads that cant be skipped.

This has always been my go to sports news app but now I constantly get sluggish loading screens and frequently the app doesn't even open. How could this app get worse over time. Such a shame

Would give it zero stars if I could. They should scrap the app and start again. For years the same nonsense. The development team and the management should all be replaced with more competent people.

Not happy that it can't be used in DEX on Samsung Tab s8 Ultra. Gives the error "External Playback not supported". However im not trying to play it on an external device...

It is easy to navigate. Good Font size and the articles are laid out well with upto info with associated material links available, all sports have a fair coverage.

Tennis results could be more up to date, especially for tournament's of lesser value than the atp 1000 events. Also minor sports given very little coverage and too much content on US sports which most Britain's aren't interested in.

It won't load story's 😒 drags and it's not my phone because its brand new the date is 9/4/22 and still the page won't open or return then I have got to go in settings clear every thing and reopen just to catch up on live new but it's not live by the time I have reset the app getting to be a pain all the money sky make its not good enough

Video reports are slowly overwhelming this app now. We all know why Sky. Advertising profits before userbility appears to be the new trend in reporting anything that's remotely newsworthy. I just want to bloody read the information, if I'm seriously interested about a particular topic I'll happily watch the video reporting on the TV sports news channels.

Unfortunately I have been unable to open the app since the last update. Whenever I try to open it a message pops up informing me that I need to install the update that is already installed, indeed when I open Play Store there is no option to update available. Honestly, with the amount of money Sky squeeze from us loyal customers it should be simple enough to have a working sports news app.

I like the app so much because it brings up sports updates like football, boxing,news,cricket and many more. Another things it organises and highlights exactly which sport you like. It gives peace of mind just reading the news without the adverts not to forget its free to use. 😌

I hate the way the notification preferences are, I have football selected which I love, but I couldn't care less about the Scottish prem, WSL or the championship but I still get those notifications. We need more options, breaking news is just all news as soon as it comes out and not the most important, if you click football you get literally all football news you can't select just the Premier league.

Great for upto date news and headlines. However the video clips are a problem due to having to sit through 2 adverts which are both 30 seconds long

Excellent app,I love my football, golf and cricket, this app never fails to provide live/up to date information on any sport interests you may have, a must have for any sports fan.

easy to use lots of information and keeping updates on teams and players and being able to watch live premier games on my android phone brilliant

App does not work. Said it required an update, I updated. When I click on the app, it says update required. Uninstalled and installed again, same thing happens. I can't access the app via Play Store, same thing happens, update via play store.

Absolutely rubbish app, bugs a plenty, slow to load, often freezes, blank screens, no dark mode...its 2022 and its like we are on AOL.
