Sky Time

Sky Time contains a widget and application which shows numerous times of particular interest to astronomy, including local time, UTC, local mean time, sidereal time, julian date, as well as sunrise, sunset, moonrise and moonset.
The application is able to be displayed in normal mode as well as night mode.

* Caller ID

Sky Time has free caller ID. It identifies callers for you
- even the ones not in your contact list. Caller ID results are shown after calls and also allow you to save the contact details directly to your address-book. You can always go to Sky Time with one click from the Caller ID screen.

You can disable or adjust caller ID to your preferences in the app menu settings or after-call screen settings at any time.

A very surprising programme. This is useful to many scholars and students.

This app messes up with my calls, collects private call data, display unsolcited screens regularly... Totally unacceptable. I am not using it anymore.

I love the program, but when I unlock my phone, large apps take over my phone, till I can get back into the phone again. Not worth it with those ads

Sense you include ciamedia, I will no longer use your app. You say it can be disabled, but by default it's enabled even before I agree to their collection of all my phone's information. Best of luck. Maybe I'll use your app again if you drop them. In response to you saying the information is not shared.... In their privacy policy, they specifically say, "We also share such identifiers and other information from your device with our social media, advertising and analytics partners.".

What does caller ID have to do with time? Was a great app, did what it was supposed to. My phone already had a caller ID as part of the phone. So I can only assume that adding caller ID to a time/Astro app is for phishing and scamming purposes. Get rid of caller ID.

Could be a great app if one could increase the font size to something legible. You will need a powerful scope to read it. What a pity. Uninstalling.

Really disappointed to see the new permissions requested. Clearly data mining. I'm sorry I have to uninstall.

I'm very pleased, if the screen can be enlarged and fonts color be changed for easy reading.

The calculation seems inaccurate, compared to other apps and websites. And it's weird to notice that this app gives both moonrise time and moonset time every day. Because there are days that don't have either a moonrise or a moonset.

Too many unrelated permissions harvesting my data, I had to uninstall.

Too many unnecessary permissions this is just a and information grabbed by this company and the ads adding advertising is just terrible. This app will be uninstalled

The app needs to remember lat & long after getting it the first time from the phone's gps.

I really like this. The only real problem I have is the size of the text is so small, even on a tablet. Maybe an option to resize the text? Thanks developers.

It just stopped working for the last few days.

Good app but how to manually changing latitude and longitude, date, time and JD so that beginners will learn about times?

I didn't use much, but it filled a need. Too many permissions now, and I am not on Android 6.0, so I cannot disable permissions granularly. Won't be updating the app, uninstall likely.

Simple U.I. with lots of info!!

Tre. S. Mar 31, 2016

Yeah, I've just un-installed this and PowerCalc because the both have this Caller ID crap now. If Google is licensing this out to others then I'm going to be very annoyed to have to delete some of these. Especially when they don't have a paid version to bypass this junk. Google always want your Phone Number, and so far I have refused it, but this? This is just a blatant intrusion to get it. One Star and less if I could.

THE perfect companion app for astronomical viewing and planning

I was looking for Julian DATE, not Julian DAY of the current calendar year. This app has what I was looking for, plus other cool extras.

Interesting astronomical info

Dav. E. Jun 10, 2016

This was a nice app but I've deleted it since it updated to include a product called Caller ID. What does that have to do with astronomy and time? If I need Caller ID information I would download a dedicated app. What I dont want is an unrelated update that could potentially or perhaps has compromised the security of my phone and contact list. The Developer should expect to receive legal challenges for this blatant 'instant-on' data mining. I note several other of his apps have Caller ID installed. Beware!!
