Between this app an SkyGolf 360, the GT2 game tracker is one of the worst devices to purchase for golf. Both apps are terrible, slow, an tend to lag. The GT2 does not sync to the sky golf 360 app. Which in result, does nothing for me to have the sensors on my clubs if nothing can sync an be tracked. The sensors are pointless and a waste. I am also unable to use the app on a Pixel with Android 9 - my subscription is still active so I am paying for something I can't use and that's not acceptable. I have emailed support and hopefully this will be resolved quickly and I'll be compensated. Until this is resolved, I don't recommend anyone with Android 9 buys this app.
Terrible app. Difficult to use. Doesn't work at times. Nothing that really helps your game. Review of rounds and editing of rounds is impossible. So you have to enter all the info as you play which isn't going to happen. Wouldnt recommend even of it were free!!!!!!
This app works with my Galaxy Note 10+ with Android 11. All shots must be recorded manually on the phone. The Game Tracker 2 will not work with it. They must have had problems adjusting to Android 10 and 11 so they have stopped trying. They seem to be content with making iPhone users happy.
Not sure where the "miss" is, but after years of using my GT1 with this app, for the past 2 months it hasn't been able to distinguish the clubs in my bag. They're all there, and the tag works properly, (as they're registering my shots), but the app doesn't know what club it is. I have written and called Sky Golf, and they said "they'll let me know when it's fixed". I forwarded that email to the CEO of Sky Golf and still haven't heard anything.
Purchased this "upgrade feature" just to find out it doesn't work with my Android version which is much newer than the sky caddie app.... So I'm such paying for something that is incompatible! Rip off and useless... Buyer beware, turn to any other product other than sky caddie!
I used to love this app. I've updated my phone but I still see that this version of the app is still 3 years old. My complaint is that I can no longer correct my score during the round by adding putts that I've forgotten. I can still make the corrections AFTER the round, but then I have to rely on pencil and paper. So what's the use of having the app?
was so excited yo get this in the mail, spent 2 hoirs with support trying to get it working before they told me to call for additional support and then I was told that there was a known problem syncing to the android devices and they were "working on it" ended up returning the product and the membership and am not at all happy with the experiance!
I want this app to work. Still on trial initially difficult to download my Course, seems ok thereafter. Needs mobile data on which can be an issue if signal is poor. I like image of golf holes when I can get them. Will continue with trial then reappraise.
Absolutely terrible app, just keeps stopping with error " failed to get course" when trying to start a round, I emailed support who did reply in fairness but we're unable to fix the issue, dreadfully dissatisfied. Will not be paying for again and will be seeking my money back!!!!!!
My gt1 isn't reading my smart tags and skygolf said I'll have to use another device other than my phone to try it. I own a Samsung phone so I'm not sure why it wouldn't be compatible with it.... He said there's nothing he can do about it. Said I should return it to the store I bought it from even though it was a Christmas gift and Is past the return window. I'll never buy another skycaddie product again
Needs a new update to work with newer Android versions. I have A Samsung s22 ultra and app doesn't work properly as it did on previous phone Samsung galaxy s9.
I give it a zero unless they fix the live scoring feature. I just renewed and this happens. I'd like a refund!
Well???? After all negative review, is SkyCaddie working on fixing the app for newer android and apple versions? Please let the members know something!!!! About a month back my GT2 paired and worked fine now on my apple phone it won't let me start the round and on my android phone it doesn't show the GT2 icon on the tee box almost as if it's not connected to the app.
using the app to TRY syncing my GameTracker 2, and it absolutely WILL NOT allow me to label my clubs in the app. online customer support only had me uninstall/reinstall and follow the directions that come with the product. I am a SkyCaddieSX500 and SkyTrak user, so I am hopeful that SkyGolf will fix this problem, but until then I am giving it 1 star.
Skycaddie, can't give you a review, but all I can say will never use it again, never got to use it because of the pandemic restrictions in the UK, and then they ask you to renew your membership,,,,,????, absolutely a joke. 🤔🤔🤔
First they charged me$29.95 when the email promo they sent was $19.95. Ignored my question about it. when using app Demo is still in place and a regular round doesn't allow me to input scoring. useless at this point, back to golf logix I guess.
I had issues with android also, after tying my wife's android phone which also did not work sinking up the clubs ..so we opened the app on her iPad and was able to sink up the clubs to the app.
Unable to use the GT2 to learn clubs. Numerous uninstalls, reinstalls, and reboots have failed to fix the issue. Shame.
I love the app it gives reliable distance information and I like how you can see distances to landing zones.
The app use to be very good util a android update. Once the update occurred the score function on the app stopped working.
Paid for upgrade to premium. They hit my cc immediately. But app won't work. Great upgrade right?
Just got the S21 galaxy phone app will not work on phone and can't find updates on it.on course it only let's you have par on every hole.question is is it usable on the galaxy s21 phone

Can not ever get this pos equipment to connect to GT2. Garbage. Do not waste your $$$money on any of their junk!
They force you to upgrade to premium. I already pay for skycaddie service now they want more. Greedy.
What happened to the "live scoring " program that was going well until mid-May when one morning out of the blue I needed to verify my username and password, which i never needed to do until then and as i entered that info when it re booted i lost the ability to use the scoring feature, why did it suddenly change and why did the program delete that feature??? Somebody made a change to the program that screwed it all up. Everything was working so well for years and not this unfortunate debacle. and by the way i have Galaxy s10+ not a 11 android. If this cannot be fixed, I am requesting a % refund payment for the non-usage of the program and next year along with many of my fellow club members will not renew our subscriptions.
