The application has world ONC/VFR charts as base-maps.
For USA/Alaska, the application has all current FAA VFR (sectional+WAC), IFR (High and Low), TAC, FLY (flip side of TAC chart), Helicopter, Gulf Coast WAC, Gulf Of Mexico, and Wall aviation charts. Grand Canyon charts are included in the TAC charts, and Bahamas and Mexico as WAC charts.
Also included is a METAR/TAF overlay, and an IFR overlay to view routes on top of VFR charts.
Its very easy to create and modify routes directly on the map or by drag&drop in table.Navigation readout is configurable to fit exactly what you want to see. It also has a nifty auto-layout feature that selects fields for you in both portrait and landscape mode.
DOUBLE TAP on map to view A/FD and approach plates. Map has VFR/IFR/LIFR color-coded weather METARs, with orange TAFs.
SUA (Special Use Airspace) information is also available.Download charts and plates for offline usage.

Charts not downloading, even after 8- 10 hrs of continuous downloading.., I have bought subscription as well which is valid....
Skycharts will not run on android as of a recent so called upgrade so it is pointless to continue the subscription
When bring up approach charts, the geo positioning did not work.

Cant download after the third region. Please update.(Edit: yes, landscape view worked but still cant download to sd card even though app is in sd card, thanks for response) Total of abouy 26 gb chart size.
Nice app. It goes way past basic info and that's very good. But the fact that it can't be moved to an SD card is a big problem. I can't take full advantage of it this way. I have to uninstall it until that problem is fixed.
Why is there no option to download to SD card
Need a lot of work if someone is going to pay $26+ for subscription. But can't complain since the main app is free.

Saving to SD card is a must. Will not even recognize hard drive.
Flying VFR under IMC is very dangerous. But, what can you said. Insufficient fuel to return back to base force me to fly under IMC. Thanksfully, with this apps I could determine safe altitude and where safe spot for descending. :D
