Have kids out of town. Nice to see updated photos of the things going on in their lives. App is very easy to use. The tablet works well...no connection issues. I have some minor issues with scrolling through photos but not sure if its my issue. Sometimes I wonder if it could use some more features for customization but right now, I am very happy with it.

The frame is fine, but y'all push the premium service too hard! It's annoying! Everytime I open an individual frame it wants me to upgrade, everytime I open the app it wants me to upgrade, everytime I upload a photo it wants me to upgrade. ITS ANNOYING. Ask me once then leave me alone, at least for a few days.

Received as a mother's day gift from my son and daughter in-law. I absolutely love it, it is so easy to set up and use. My children and husband are able to add photos daily which is absolutely wonderful! . Especially since my son lives several states away and sends pics of my grandsons with ease!! I definitely recommend this product 100%!

Got frames for both grandmas and it is a HUGE hit! It allows us to share pictures on our time, and it helps keep them from asking for pictures everyday (haha). It's super easy to set up and send pictures! Definitely reccomend.

A good way to revel in photos... fairly straightforward to set up. On screen settings to choose how fast they change, delete, etc. In general, I like it.

What is the point of this app? I set up the frame. Emailed photos to it. They still do not appear on the frame. There is an envelope with a 2 and a rotating circle in the top right corner of the frame. The app shows both photos. Waste of money

Sooooo simple & user-friendly!! My only regret is that I didn't do this frame and download the app a loooooong time ago. I never share much of my personal life on social media anymore, but that's where my extended family "sees" my life - so now they ask for updated pics of the kids, sports, events, vacations, holidays, etc. THIS is the easiest, most perfect way to keep them in the loop!! We *ALL* love that pics uploaded on the app display in my grandparents' Skylight frame [almost] immediately!

This is a very easy photo frame to use. My frustration has always been with the loading process. Not skylight! Good timing settings and crystal clear pics!

Love the idea, love the frame, hate uploading pictures. You can only upload one at a time and after the first 3ish the app decides you're moving to fast and done. &For the price of the frames themselves I don't think they should charge you for full access to the app. But, overall it's a great gift for grandparents. We bought two.

The Skylight frame is a great idea. I have 20,000 photos, but I never print anything, so uploading from an app is wonderful. But, what they don't tell you, is all "remote" controls are under "premium" features and cost a subscription fee. You can't set a schedule, can't set your photos to shuffle, etc. without paying a subscription fee. I paid a lot of money for the frame and feel it's a little insulting to have to pay even more just to "control" the frame.

I love the Skylight product, it's pivotal in our ability to easily share photos with family members who aren't on social media. However, the app is just frustrating to use. It continually crashes without any particular rhyme or reason. I have to retry uploading certain files multiple times before they finally manage to somehow successfully make it through. It would be one thing if there was some consistency or even feedback/limitations clearly show from within the app itself, but there's none.

Overall great. I took off two stars because when uploading photos it doesn't indicate when you've reached your upload limit. Often it will only accept 3 or 4 photos at a time, after going through the process of selecting many. It varies every time. Lots of wasted time and frustration and ultimately fewer pictures shared. This feature needs major improvement. But conceptually it's great and my mom enjoys her photos.

The frame is great. It's pretty sad and frustrating that you can't even simply scroll back through the photos that you've loaded without the additional cost of the "Plus" feature. Since when did scrolling through your own photos become a $40 endeavor? The app is VERY limited to only uploading photos. Any other feature requires the annual upgrade fee, and you are constantly reminded of that with every in-app click.

The concept is cool and it works really well. Awesome gift for family that lives far away. I took off a star for the excessive requests to buy "pro." I don't mind paying for extra features and might subscribe one day, but it's really frustrating when the app tricks you into using premium features (like captions) just to get you to buy the subscription package.

Four stars because while my parents (who we got it for) love the frame and getting to see pictures from everyone spread out across the country, it seems ridiculous that you cannot edit/scroll back through photos you've added without paying the additional $40/yr subscription fee. Aside from battling the 'upgrade' messaging/features, the app has been easy to use and upload photos to. Just think some of the features behind a paywall should be included in the initial cost of the frame.

I want to like it, but so far I'm disappointed. With a few tweaks, it could be much better 1) Make Skylight available in the 'share to' apps list. I'd rather select the photos in a different app (where I have 'favorites' meta-data captured) and then share them collectively to Skylight. But Skylight doesn't show up in the share list. 2) Add an option for slow fade transition between photos. The fast transitions are annoying and distracting. Would add a couple stars if it had these capabilities.

For the price just buy a small TV and the cheapest fire stick and upload your photos to Amazon Photos to show. It is a cheaper price and way better functionality. They are based out of San Francisco so they have to charge an "arm and a leg" to make their money on the product. $40 for a subscription is price gouging.

So far, so good! What a great way to see photos from my family that live out of state!! *Update: after having it for a few months, it's still a decent app but the paying for access to all photos is ridiculously expensive! The frame is not cheap and to charge $40 a year to see anything beyond 15 photos is nuts! Took away 2 stars because of greed!

Frame is amazing, app sucks. Doesn't let you upload more than two pics at a time if that, without crashing. Takes over an hour to upload a 45sec to 1 minute video. Doesn't let you add captions after uploading. App is constantly crashing. Extremely frustrating and aggravating. Needs to be updated or fixed.

Nice community app to share and enjoy photos from family events and/or highlighting parties etc. Pretty easy to use even from the start, however full functionality is only available very subscription. One has to decide if that price ($39) is worth it, specifically if every one sharing would go for the subscription. The photo frame is nice & easy to setup too. No issues

Rob. S. May 21, 2022

If you want all of the features of the photo frame, you have to pay a yearly subscription. I tried to manage my photos in the app and I don't have access. DON'T BUY THIS!!!!

And. G. Apr 5, 2022

The app is great. And the product overall is amazing. It would be really cool if it could be integrated directly with Google photos to allow syncing between photo albums and the frame. Sometimes the app can be a little slow, too. Other than that it's really awesome

Jay. B. Dec 31, 2021

They want to charge you to see your own photos. If the developers wanted to charge for added functionality like photo editing, I could understand. Instead, they actively limit your ability to see/organize/display your photos unless you pay them. There are far better digital frames out there than this. Highly do not recommend.

Jav. B. May 4, 2022

Great concept but it's a little expensive if you sign up for the subscription plans. I feel as if you'll eventually have to sign up for a subscription or you'll just get tired of them taking you to their plans that are available.

Mik. C. May 14, 2022

The app is easy to use but constantly prompts to get you to pay for premium features which seem like very basic things that should be included.

Mik. N. Jan 6, 2022

I like it so far.... BUT. It is only as good as the pictures that get sent. It isn't that exciting to send pictures to myself and I can play my own camera roll on anything TV, computer, laptop tablet or phone in the house. So the fun really is in how much others engage with it. So far, I've had to push others to be active. Which feels weird. I give 5 stars only because of the potential, not really because of the actual.

If you need a good gift (especially for grandparents), we bought my parents a Skylight digital picture frame for Christmas. All of us can either email or use the app to add pictures, and they show up on the frame. If you pay a minimal subscription (not required but only around $40 a year), you can also send videos and caption the pics. Plus, if you have the app, you can see all of the pics that have been sent which is so fun!

Han. S. Jan 10, 2022

I love how easy it is to send photos to frames and how "simple" it is for the frame owner. The app makes it easy to send to multiple frames (I have 4 different ones) at once which is great too. My only complaint is how often the "upgrade" message appears in the app.

Suz. M. Jan 2, 2022

Some times it works and sometimes not. One minute it let's me choose several pictures to upload and the next I have to upload 1 at a time. When it froze I turned off my phone and restarted it. Now I can't log back in. I'm using the correct email address bc I screen shot it so I wouldn't forget it. But I can't get into it now. It's not as user friendly as they say. JUST LET ME LOG BACK IN ALREADY! UGH!!

This is the most irritating app I've ever used. It was supposed to allow you to put up pictures and send them to the frame but almost everything you try to do in the app takes you to a paywall asking for $40 per year subscription. The things that it does let you do are limited and greyed out in a defiant intentional act by them to require more money. Having received this as a Christmas gift it's very disheartening.
